H.Really nice inexpensive motel located not too far away from all the action in Napier. The units are well furnished and the decor is very stylish. Everything is clean and tidy. The staff are lovely. As mentioned, the prices are very reasonable, good value indeed. We had a very nice family suite and enjoyed our stay.

C.Immaculate room, spotlessly clean, close to town but very quiet. Dave and Rachael are lovely and nothing was a problem. The room was very warm thanks to the new heat pump. Dave has done a great job of renovating the rooms & the outlook over the park was lovely. We would definitely stay here again
G.We had a stay over 4 nights with kids and grandparents. That put is in two adjacent rooms, which gave us a decent view of the facility. The rooms were very clean and stocked with reasonable kitchen supplies.
The weather in Napier was stunning and we made great use of both the pool and the barbecue. Both were clean and in good order.
My only complaint would be the lack of cooling. We were able to use the fans to move the air, but we didn't really have a way to get the evening temperatures down for the kids' bed time.
W.We stayed here for 1 night on the way from Gisborne to Wellington in a Family Suite. Motel rooms were tidy and had all the amenities for cooking. The hosts were very friendly and gave advice about the local area. Motel is set back from the road, so very little traffic noise.
I did get confused by Google's directions, where it wanted me to drive down a private road and walk across other properties to get there (See Pic). It's very easy to miss the entrance, as signage is obscured a little by trees.
K.Visited to view rooms this week for family reunion coming up in couple of months. The young lady that showed me around was very pleasant. Pool was pretty and clean, gardens kept well, lovely art deco home with genuine furniture in keeping with the era of the historical building, without compromising comfort or modem amenities. Loving the little units that look out over Nelson park. Family units available too. I look forward to seeing B and her partner again when we book our rooms

M.Lovely clean and spacious motel unit. 10 mins walk from town centre. Nice little pool area too. Quiet and peaceful. Napier itself is interesting and has lots of lovely shops and buildings.
C.Lovely owners. Really great to deal with. The units are older than some but immaculate and spotless. I like that the main bed is separate from dining/tv room. If you love sport, this is the place to stay as soooo close to McLean Park. Will stay again and recommend.
