b.It’s suitable for a brief overnight stay but if you’re going to stay longer in the area I’d recommend looking elsewhere. The views and location are right on the money, but the rooms although clean, are in need of a severe facelift. The American receptionist…well she has the personality of a used pan handle…hospitality definitely ain’t your thing.
M.So comfortable and the patios and views are to die for. We will be back! Lovely lady who runs the place. Rooms spacious with TVs in each room. Lots to do in close vicinity. Parking provided.
M.We spent one night at Harbour View on our way north to Gisborne. The location is stunning, right on the waterfront but far enough away from the port that it is not noisy or overly light at night. The waterfront walkway running in front of the motel goes for miles. Our room was classic motel style, the bed (queen) was comfy, shower had good pressure and we had a kitchenette with a sink and microwave and basic cookware, enough to prepare easy meals. The price was good for the great location and we will definitely book again if we're back in Napier.

T.Surprisingly quiet for been in a multi room complex, comfortable bed, great having a couch to relax on, tv in bedroom and lounge area. Easy to book, friendly staff. Only slight negative is the shower pressure not great but still doable. Would stay again
L.It is an amazing location with beautiful views and close to restaurants and cafes. I was really disappointed how we were not welcomed at reception unlike four years ago when staff were lovely The bathroom was old, shower was very weak. no towel rail or fan.

S.Room was warm and tidy with beautiful sea views. Bed was so comfortable 😌. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Photos are actual view from our room.
K.Good facilities and lovely comfortable rooms. The only issue was the way the manager handled our departure. We were there for a work conference, and we had been socializing on the front lawn drinking. If we had been told of this issue at the time we would have packed up and gone back to our rooms but to be yelled at on the morning of departure over this was rather unfair. Also the night before we left, we had been out, arriving back at around Midnight, I will admit we were a little loud but if any of the neighbors had come over and said can you please be quiet, again we would have gone back to our rooms. I feel the manager handled this unwell and could have had a conversation with us surrounding this issue instead of just yelling down the phone.

H.Harbour View Lodge suites are spacious, warm and clean. It is an excellent place to relax and watch the fishing boats come in at the nd of the day. Cafes and shops within 2 or 3 minutes walk, and Napier is a 5 minute drive away.
G.Great location and the view can't be beat. The beds are ok. It's not a luxury hotel but it has it's benefits. It's nice having a mini fridge and dishes etc. It could be good for a long term stay. Nice to have parking right by your room.
N.A couples get away. We stay here at least twice a year. We love this seaside accommodation. Owners and staff are friendly and professional. Rooms are comfortable and spotless. Harbour views from every room. A 2-5min walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Look forward to our next visit.
P.Very friendly and welcoming receptionist who showed us 2 rooms. We chose a ground floor room with windows facing the sea. It was very comfortable with pleasant decor and scrupulously clean. The view was perfect and doors which opened just a few yards from the sandy beach. PERFECT!!

A.I'll go back there, no issues. The staff who greeted us was polite. The location it's fantastic. There is water view from inside the room. The place is getting old and tired. And will need renovation soon. But nothing is falling apart.

C.Generally this place is great to stay in. This time however the room we stayed in was not in the best location in the complex. Views were blocked by a neighbouring building. Suggest when booking you request rooms in the Eastern wing of the complex.

M.Reception was friendly. Parking easy. I requested a second floor room which I got. Room 19. A studio. It was big, with a couch, dinning table with two chairs, out door chairs and table, two side chairs, a kitchenette. Bathroom is large with a large spa bath. Overall every thing was clean, and the room smelt fresh.
Location is great with views out into the bay, and there is a balcony to enjoy them from.
A couple of negatives. No extractor fan in the bathroom. A noisy wall mounted fan heater. Several broken window catches. The front door doesn't close tight and whistles with the wind.
But these small negatives hugely out weigh the price I paid for the room. So still definitely a 5 star rating.

T.I made a last minute booking and paid $100 for a studio room. After reading the reviews I prepared myself for a disaster but it was quite the opposite. The room was very spacious and had a spa bath. It’s also in a great location close to restaurants. I will definitely stay again and recommend to friends
T.在这个城市路过，住了一晚，到的时候天已经全黑了，好像是7点吧还是8点，前台的人正要下班走人，见我们来了把钥匙交给我们才走。整个酒店已经略显陈旧了，不过还算干净卫生。浴缸有冲浪按摩功能，试了一下还可以。晚上到得晚，没注意外面的景色，早上起来才发现窗外就是海边，拉开阳台门走出去散散步，挺舒服。酒店位置离城中心有点远，下了高速进城后还开了好一阵子，拐来拐去的。
