M.Very accommodating. We where to stay for two nights in the Xmas rush but decided to stay for 3 they just moved things around to work. Was a very tidy rood with spa. Air-conditioned rooms for the warmer months. All around very good

S.I spent 2 nights here in Jan, absolutely lovely hosts and staff. Nice spacious rooms, very clean. Fudge on the bed on arrival. Cookietime, milk and plenty choices of teabags, was just the pickup I needed after the 5 hour drive. Ample parking inside the motel and walking distance to the shops
V.A wonderfully centrally located motel right in the heart of Nelson! Lovely clean and spacious rooms. Tracy and Lindsay are friendly and the most helpful hosts :) Highly recommend and we will definitely be back to stay sometime!
S.We made a mistake with our booking but it wasn't a problem for them. We booked for the wrong day online and the owner shifted our booking and upgraded our room since the studio was booked out.
The room was excellent, location central to all of the town, and one block from the farmers market.
I will be back.

B.Nice hotel. Too bad a concert is going on in park next door at 11 pm on a work night. Would have been nice to know before booking here.
R.Lovely stay at Cedar Grove. Managers are just wonderful, we weren’t able to arrive due to flooding on the first night and they were very understanding and helpful.
Situated close to town, able to walk everywhere.
Rooms are very clean, awesome facilities including spa bath. Also complementary cookies and Milo were 👌.
Only downside was aircon was slightly noisy but didn’t need to use as room was warm.
Would definitely stay again!
K.I had a 2 night stay & found it very roomy for a studio unit well equiped with anything you needed. Nice little touch with fudge on bed. Great array of teas & coffees & a lovely roomy bathroom with a fantastic shower and spa bath .Handy to town centre & lovely restaurants. Friendly host on reception Would stay again & recommend to anyone coming to Nelson

H.I have stayed here numerous times for work. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are clean, warm and extremely comfortable. Couldn't ask for anything more after 10 hour days. The owners are super friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable!
R.Stayed four nights, the unit was large and extremely well appointed. Everything was spotless and clean with plenty of good quality linen. The hosts were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had a unit close to the road but it was very quiet and warm due to the double glazing.
We would recommend Cedar grove as the best place we have stayed at in Nelson.
G.Awesome hoteliers - nothing was too much trouble. Placed close to nelson CBD, with well equipped facilities both in the hotel, and within close walking distance, all well presented and clean.
Air con, fridge, cooking, lounge, satellite telly, great shower, and all superbly clean.
Nelson is great, there are restaurants from almost everywhere, and the people are so friendly. And don't miss the Wednesday farmers market.
D.Pretty much as expected. Clean and tidy. Everything we needed. Parking good and close to town. Easy to walk to City Center where there are many good restaurants. River coffee shop only about 100 m away over the bridge. Handy to Countdown supermarket too. Unfortunately, during the daily clean they took our fancy Sheridan facecloth and couldn't find it amongst the laundry. They said they would keep searching. We'll see what happens.
S.Very nice very solid and quiet apartment. Stayed in 2 bedroom ground floor unit. Fast internet included, comfy beds, very solid apartment with all mod cons. Also very close to town centre. Coffee shops close walk
R.Truly 5 star accomodation - central to Nelson's main shopping and dining area, just a few minutes walk away, this is a magnificent property. Modern and squeaky clean with every in room convenience provided, my wife's 1st response was a resounding "can we stay for a month". Already a quiet location, windows are double, glazed. WIFI is fast, bathroom shampoos, creams and soaps are all provided. TV and various entertainment options are available along with an excellent kitchenette complete with microwave.
Don't book anywhere else.... This is the best!
L.I should have written this earlier!!! I stayed here just after christmas in 2012 by myself, it was awesome. Everything is so close to you, the people are great and caring as ever, good to talk to. Don't even get me started about the room!!!! It was the first motor lodge I had stayed in, and the bath was just beautiful as was the shower. The bed was very comfortable! Loved the tv with dvd player (I just went and bought dvd's to watch from the warehouse) and I even loved the balcony! I can't wait to stay here again :) thank you guys so much!

J.Ceder Grove absolutely deserves this high rating, this place won't dissapoint for location, cleanliness and all the lovely trimmings you'd want for a stay in sunny Nelson. Lovely products to use in the bathrooms and did mention how spotless this place is!! Perfect!
