A fantastic place to stay in Nelson. Everything spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hosts are amazing and so welcoming. Rooms are modern and stylish and equipped with everything you need for a great stay. All together an amazing accommodation option in Nelson. Will not disappoint.

Stayed here for an overnight visit for work. Very clean and tidy, great desk in room for working. Thanks for the hospitality

Brilliant location, just a short walk to the markets and all the great restaurants. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The advice about what to do and see from Robyn was invaluable! Highly recommended! Would definitely stay again.

Robyn was very accommodating, helped us with local information. The rooms were great. Back end of hotel was quiet and away from the road. A quick walk into town. Beds were extremely comfy and the spa bath was amazing. They held onto our bags between visits to Able Tasman, and after a walk around town, arranged the taxi for us to go back to the airport.

Great service! Very friendly staff at counter that recommended eateries and places in town. Room was very tidy and inviting. Room had everything you could ever need. Super quick walk into town and easy to find location. Plenty of parking. Would highly recommend for business or pleasure. Will definitely stay here again

Palazzo was great! The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, with some nice little extras. Short walk to town, yet quiet and the owners were friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying here again. Highly recommend.

Great location, 5mn from city center. Rooms are outstanding in terms of confort, decor, amenities. A Motel with 5 star rooms! … I highly recommend this address if you are transiting or staying in Nelson for a few days.

Everything at Palazzo was perfect, from the room to the service, just everything. The room was clean, orderly and exactly what we booked, and the owners were lovely to deal with, as well as attentive and helpful. I will without doubt be staying here again next time I am in Nelson!

Room immaculate! Most comfortable bed and best shower. Every need catered for. Max friendly and helpful and took time to advise on "must do" as it was our first visit to Nelson. Best motel ever !!

We stayed here for one night and wow our room was immaculate fresh & clean, huge tv on the wall which was a plus, bed was comfortable and big. When we arrived at the front counter we were greeted by the staff with a warm welcoming awesome customer service. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone!! Also location right in the city was awesome!

Top notch accommodation. Clean, nice rooms and lovely staff.

You simply couldn't do better. I was there with five friends. Two shared the two bedroomed Presidential Suite (good enough for everyone's favourite President Trump😉) while the rest of us had our own rooms. All with beautiful white bedspreads and quality drapes and spotlessly clean. We were well looked after by Max who carried all our luggage to our individual rooms on arrival to save us having to lug it. We all had golf clubs too so it was a lot for him to deal with.

This is a comfortable and awesome place to stay. I highly recommend. There are nice touches that elevate your stay. Good coffee, great free internet, make up washcloths and fudge bites on arrival etc. To me this shows that the owner cares about people and their comfort. The lady on reception who may have been the owner was exceptionally helpful and fun. Nelson is lovely and this was a great place to stay.

We absolutely LOVED this stay!!!!!!! It was our first experience in New Zealand traveling from the states, and we just could not believe the wonderful accommodations. We adore Nelson, and our hosts were so kind, so informative, and so gracious! We would always come back to a clean room, and they recycled (which meant a lot to us). We loved our bathroom, and the interior design! We highly recommend this lodge for the experience, the comfort, and how relaxing it was!

Had an awesome stay at Palazzo. Very welcoming, exterior looks very tidy, very clean and it has a good size balcony for each room. Interior - modern, comfortable and nice bed to sleep on.

Very charming welcome by the owner. Rooms was clean, good bed and bathroom. A lot of eateries within minutes walkable. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed this property very much and would love to come back again one day.

This place is truly comfortable, clean, well-equipped, spacious, everything works, the owners Max & Robyn are so cheerful and friendly. The town centre, supermarket, restaurants, shops and petrol station are all walking distance away. A great place to end a holiday if you've got an early flight to catch at Nelson Airport. Palazzo Motor Lodge reminds me how nice it is to have a motor lodge / motel sort of experience.

This place is so clean and beautiful! The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on! Max the receptionist was so enthusiastic, helpful he absolutely made our day! And our stay here! Love this place so much!

I come back for a holiday once a year and normally stay at a different place most times I come, stayed here and found it to be the best place I have stayed in Nelson, from walking into reception to walking into our room was all an absolutely wonderful experience I felt welcome the moment we walked in, thank you so much! We'll definitely be back next year!

Wonderful hosts, room was comfortable and ensuite spotless. Only a short walk to the centre of main shopping centre cafes and restaurants.

Really lovely people run this place - also, super clean and comfortable with more than you would expect in terms of home comforts.

Such an awesome place to stay. Amazing service. Such clean rooms and even things like nespresso machine, little glass milk bottles, little fudges. After a day away for work this is such a fantastic place to stay.

Jenny and Murray were fantastic hosts at this centrally located motel. The generous rooms were well fitted out, with a stove top and dishdrawer, as well as the usual microwave and fridge. The heated towel rail in the clean and shiny bathroom was a welcome addition. The best feature was the uber-comfy bed - bliss!

I stayed at the Palazzo for a few weeks while in town working, and the accommodation was fantastic! Great rooms, great cleaning service, and great hosts! I was always greeted with a smile and Kiara was extremely helpful with any question or requests I had. If I ever find myself in Nelson again, I will definitely return to the Palazzo.

Stayed there two nights, nice room, nice bed, good toilet and shower BUT really noisey, we were surprised by the traffic noise even with the bathroom window and door closed. Also when someone flushes the toilet upstairs or pulls the plug on a bath or shower it sound like there is no plumbing and all the water is on the ceiling panel ( it isint, it is just noisey plumbing ) while we were trying to sleep someone upstairs was up ant atom so we got woken early too.

I stayed in the Presidential accommodation and was so pleased with the roomy bed, the nice art and decor and the cleanliness. Kiara and Bob are welcoming hosts with much local knowledge and they made our short stay extra special. I have since recommended Palazzo to friends for business accommodation reasons and the proximity to the Conference Centre is the best in the area by a long margin. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nelson.

Gorgeous motel, with fabulous hosts! Clean, tasteful, friendly, atmospheric and situated a short (3 minutes) walk from the town centre, markets etc., Palazzo is the perfect place to stay in Nelson. Hosts Kiara and Bob are happy to assist in every way, whether it be with local tourism advice or helping to plan your trip to nearby must-sees like the Abel Tasman. Will definitely be back again soon! 10/10!!!

I turned up late with no booking and very tired thankyou you are a very nice and helpfull lady . the room was awesome and the bed OMG I had the best night sleep iv had in a couple months when I climbed into bed I'm positive it just swallowed me up lol . Definitely recommend it to all my friends . Aww sorry only thing the shower needs the pressure turned down just a little lol hurts the face a bit when ya stick it under the water lol .

Comfortable bed, spacious rooms, good service, wi-fi was good, walking distance to great bars and restaurants and access was easy . Will stay here again.

An absolutely fantastic place to stay in nelson, great service. Well thought out rooms down to the 4 outlets on each side of the bed for all ur charging needs, lamps etc. To the full sky and fantastic Wi-Fi. (Were able to stream Netflix at anytime with no issues)

Very comfortable room, surprisingly quiet for being on major road. Generous balcony, nice amount of space if you need to set up an impromptu office.

I had to travel to Nelson for work on a fortnightly basis and when I did I was there for a week, I only stayed at the Palazzo Motor Lodge. Over this period I got to know Kiara and Bob the owners really well, they are always very welcoming and I liked that they ensured I had the same room on each trip, it felt like my home away from home, the rooms are beautiful, clean and well serviced and I could not have asked for a better place to stay.

A beautiful motel, Max & Robyn are so accomodating, the room was clean, bed was awesome, best sleep ever, the spa bath certainly kept my husband happy and soothed tired muscles, we will certainly be staying here next visit, it’s a no brainer Thank you Mac and Robyn, also lovely cleaning staff👍😀

We loved our stay at Palazzo motel, spacious and an awesome outdoor area to enjoy the Nelson sun. Very comfy super sized bed in the Presidential Suite. The free wifi internet allowance is generous at 500mb which was a bonus. Plenty of great places close by for eating - a short stroll to town. We can see why Palazzo is reviewed so highly on Tripadvisor and other accommodation sites. More than happy to book again at Palazzo.
