B. T.Great staff, spotless rooms, amazing location. Highly recommended! If you're worried about noise - close the windows and turn on the A/C. Worked to cancel any road noise perfectly!
R. N.Beautifully clean room. All the basics covered including a make up face cloth which I thought was brilliant! Heat pump, Netflix, great shower pressure and nice king bed I was very happy. Check in was easy and staff were friendly. Only down fall was the road noise and sea gulls constantly squawking

P. N.Nice motel. Looks clean and refurbished. It can be a bit noisy, but it's a motel, it's natural. Take your earplugs with you.
Parking can be an issue though. So don't delay with checking in. There are trading streets just a short walk from the place.
The shower is a bit funny if you are a tall person, it's fixed to the wall a bit too low and the water pressure is not too vigorous.
Good option for 1-2 nights stay.
J. G.Charming motel run by fabulous hosts. Accommodation is warm, cozy and spotless. The small attention to detail by the proprietors makes Asure Abode 155 Courtenay Street, New Plymouth a hidden gem.
T. B.Excellent value and spotlessly clean. Stayed in a two bedroom and while it was compact it had everything we needed with a very good sized bathroom. Rooms are very well maintained. Management are lovely. Can't fault a thing.
J. S.My family stayed in a room that can sleep 3 people, I recommend booking directly with them by calling instead of via other booking sites as it was actually a lot nicer experience 😀.
My mom is a tiny lady who takes cleaning very seriously, and this was what she said: “This is exactly how I would clean my house too!”
Location was super great as paknsave (huge grocery store) is right across the road and city centre is convenient short walk away - we walked everywhere - there was free TSB festival of lights show every year around Dec-Jan at a park nearby that we went which was really great.
Thank you Ian and Helen for the great experience! we had a good family trip and good memories of New Plymouth.

U.Great spot in the middle of town, easy walk to most places you'd usually need, takeaways, cafes, supermarket, etc. Also a short walk to Pukekura park so great for visiting the Festival of Lights. Lovely clean apartments, large shower with different head settings, sky on the tv, etc. Very happy with my stay here

M. W.Loved pur stay here. We booked a number of rooms and the owners were very friendly and accomodating. Great location across from the major supermarkets. Only downside would be the windows are not double glazed so quite a bit of road noise and our air con didn't work well/at all but we did have a little fan heater which did the trick.
T. (.Friendly staff and very happy to help you out. Rooms were nice, clean and tidy. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking. There is more rooms than parking spaces which meant on the second night we had to park out on the street. Would probably stay here again. Good location close to everything you need.

M. R.We were assigned the family/handicapped accessible room located right by the entrance. The room suited our needs, but the layout was just a bit awkward. The owner did their best to make us welcome and it is close to town and the main attractions.

Wedding. Had a one bedroom unit upstairs.
The unit was very clean and very comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and blankets and heat pump which we didn’t need to use.
Very friendly, relaxed and accommodating hosts.
Perfect place to stay as everything is walking distance and supermarket just across road. Didn’t get traffic noise either.
N. b.What a place!! Such beautiful and modern well thought out apartments with simple yet elegant features that will simply please any OCD sufferers like my self!
The hosts are super helpful and warm and welcoming and above all affordable for any young family to spend a night or three in the heart of Taranaki.. even have Netflix on offer!!
If there was an option for 10 stars I'ld smash that button ✅ hands down comming to stay again!! 💯💯 200%
C.Went on a busy weekend where everywhere was booked out. These guys didn't increase their fees, in fact the decreased them because there was only two of us in a 2 bed suite. Amazing!!! Friendly as anything and the room was perfect and tidy and the proximity to town and Pukekura park was handy as. Be back defo!!
J. T.It was a joy to walk into the unit and find it so nicely painted, clean and tidy, the bathroom spacious and with a large bath as well. We felt right at home there. The free car park plus free Wi-Fi was an added extra bonus. A short walk to supermarkets, shops, and cafes. Even walking distance to the waterfront. There was some traffic noise from the busy road but that didn't hinder our sleep. Lovely place.
G. J.The rooms were tidy, modern and great value for money. Great location in the heart of New Plymouth. What really touched us, was we had an unfortunate situation with one of our kids and Ian the owner bent over backwards to help us.||||This is first-class customer service and shows the value of a good honest kiwi business going out of there way to give their customers a great experience.||||We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The room was perfect: warm, spotless and above all Ian and Helen were so warm and inviting. ||The motel is within walking distance to restraunts, waterfront, the beautiful gardens, shops just to name a few of the things. The mountain picturesque coastline and beautiful gardens are also handy by car. ||I absolutely recommend Assure Abode on Courtney for the best place to stay in New Plymouth.
L. T.Rooms is neat and looks fresh. Just few walks to Mcdo, Countdown,Pak n Save, Burger King and KFC. Very convenient. If you are sensitive to noise then this is not for you as this is beside a road. I enjoyed my stay and definitely comeback. High recommended.

Excellent positioning (walking distance) to food outlets, local mall, waterfront and park for the light festival. And despite being in town centre and main roads either side we were not disrupted by any noise overnight, but beware very firm bed 😉

J. H.This is the second time that we have stayed here on a long weekend and it is not the price that brings us back, it is the owners and the locality to supermarkets and the city. That is not to say that the place is not good, it is excellent, beds are comfy, the rooms are a good size and quiet even when the place is full
