T.Awesome area room was clean and has everything you need the manager "David" very helpful also respects tenants privacy which is rare.

It is clean, daily serviced, quite, central to city centre and close to two supermarkets.
It is close to two cafes, easy to enter and exit. I found the room comfortable and the water pressure in the shower is good.
Would happily stay again.
C.This is a lovely classic NZ motel. Great compact facilities, comfy beds, close to city centre. Very friendly owners and cat. Recommended. I really appreciated the attention to environment/recycling.

W.We had a fabulous experience staying at the Alpha Motor Inn, we were there for a funeral for a close family member, the owners were absolutely accommodating and made us very welcome. We had a BBQ one night and had other family not staying there come to join us, they brought out extra tables and chairs. With a large group its not always easy to accommodate everyone in close proximity, they were able to do this. Thank you so much we really appreciate the extra effort you went to in making us welcome and our stay comfortable.
M.After my original accommodation was screwed up I was desperate to find a place to stay and I found myself here. Brenda immediately looked after me and made sure I was in the best room for the length of my stay and that I would be warm and comfortable. She made sure I knew where everything was and even offered to drop me off to Massey if I needed!! The room was warm and comfortable and had everything I needed to be able to cook for myself. I will definitely be back.

D.John, Bryan and Peter stayed here three nights from Friday 3 February until 6 February and wanted to let other customers know that the hosts were absolutely dynamic. They had a great sense of humour and Brenda was neat. The rooms were fantastic. The cleaning ladies also had lovely personalities. We have already prebooked the room again for next year. Fantastic atmosphere and the hosts are such a neat couple.

C.What a lovely motel run by the most amazing people. Brenda and Farnie made us feel so welcome. The room had everything we needed and was spacious. Amazing coffee shop literally outside your door. Centrally located. A 5 day stay turned into nearly a month's stay as all other accommodation options we explored were not nearly as attractive. And no other place gave us that warm fuzzy feeling of " a home away from home". I highly recommend Alpha Motor Inn.
B.We had such a lovely stay with Brenda and Farnie. They were so welcoming, hospitable and provided everything we needed during our stay including airport pickup and guidance on the area. The motel is in a great location and is a very short walk from town.
Our room was spacious and spotless. The electric blankets were such a luxury and exactly what we needed after a very long journey. We loved how the motel was themed based on both islands of New Zealand.
We would definitely recommend and know we will be back as it was just perfect. Thank you so much Brenda and Farnie!

M.I and 6 of my staff have stayed previously at Alpha while we work in Palmerston. We returned again for another 7 days this year because of the fabulous hospitality we always enjoy from the very house(motel?) proud Brenda and Farnie along with the extremely good value, clean and tidy accommodation. The complex is very close (walking) to the City but set back from the street for quiet. Great hosts - we will be back next time.

P.I have been to Palmerston North before but this was the first time l stayed in this Motel. I found the rooms well equipped and very clean, with unexpected finishing touches like artistically folded towels. If you are heading to Palmerston North l would certainly recommend this Motel , as the staff were extremely accommodating and even allowed us to do a load of washing.
K.Farnie & Brenda were so wonderful. We showed up without a booking, after a long days drive and they were so accommodating. Not only is their accomodation afforable but it’s clean and comfortable. We also had our 7mnth old and they happily provided a portacot & bedding for her. All the rooms are named after NZ cities and you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. It’s conveniently located walking distance to lots of nice restaurants and the plaza. Highly recommend Alpha Motor Inn.
A.Brenda and Farnie are not just helpful for business reasons. They care deeply about people and have become great friends. They have worked wonders with this motel during the several months I have been visiting. I appreciate the specially designed headboards which greatly add to the comfort. Free Sky TV (50 channels) certainly makes for a great 'home away from home'.

The owners are so friendly and helpful. Units are modest but clean and tidy. Very close to centre of the city so it's so convenient. Countdown just around the corner. We'll be back for sure.

S.The service at Alpha Motor Inn made us feel homely in a country far away from home. Farnie, Brenda and their staff expressed warmth and interest towards us and other guests to ensure that we were comfortable and making our way around the North Island efficiently and safely during our stay - like an extended family. When the weather was nice, Farnie would get the BBQ going for the guests as opportunities for us to connect and share out stories (if we so chose to do so). The location is also prime as it is just a few blocks away from the hustle-bustle of the city centre. I would recommend this Inn especially for those who would like to be part of the heart of Palmerston North.

C.Very friendly, perfectly clean, 10 minute walk from The Square and a good sized, well presented room. A bit hard to find as there is a restricted entrance but look for the barbers and the drive is alongside.
