Love my room, bed & linen, Devine. View lovely. Easy 10 min walk downhill to town, buses stop right outside, staff are lovely & very helpful. Great view from restaurant. Cooked breakfast for $13, came to table piping hot. I would be happy to stay here again.

Comfortable clean and great location. Booked 2 adults and 2 teenagers..provided 2 dble beds which was not appropriate. Had to pay more for an upgrade to a 2 bedroom apt. Def recommend this. Much better. Restaurant only open for breakfast. Went down to Copthorne millennium for dinner..awesome view meal and service

_Room was spacious and clean. _Staff was helpful and friendly. _There was no AC so it was really unpleasant during summer visit, you can open the window to let air in but at the same time you’re also letting the road noise in as this hotel is facing a busy road.

Highly recommend, the room was super spacious, service really prompt and efficient, the free parking was super convenient and undercover! Also very clean and tidy. The brilliant lake view and large balcony for such a competitive price was a real bonus. Will definitely be back!

We are a group of four families who stayed in this hotel last week for our school holiday trip in Queenstown together and we have had wonderful experience, excellent customer service, plenty of guest parking (over two levels and even including the reserved parking - check with the reception) lovely breakfast and the hot spa! It has all we expected! The interior deco is not flash but we don't really mind, love the views over the balcony, that is a bus stop right by the hotel, to airport and the town centre, great value for the price!

Good, meals were great, room also ok and nice size. Bed ok on one side. Deck a bit tired with cracking paint. Staff good.

Loved my stay at the hotel. Amazing views, book your time at the spa, breakfast and their in house bar is small but offer nice food. I really loved my room which had 2 rooms upstairs with 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet and lounge with kitchen and toilet and bathroom downstairs. Both floors has balcony for amazing views of the mountains and lake. Close to the city centre and airport. Has plenty of parking.

Great views from top floors. But old, dated interiors and some appliances didn't work, shower didn't have shelf to keep soaps etc. Had to upgrade by paying more to get better room. Traffic noise from main road is also a downer. Staff was nice and helpful and made the stay better!

Very handy location, short walk into town. Super friendly staff, made checking in and out a breeze. Rooms tidy, clean and warm. Did have an issue with heating, but got resolved quickly. Some hallways can be a little confusing, as not all in the one building. Overall happy and would return

Excellent room. Breakfast is not too bad. They make efforts to cater for gluten free which is great. 10 minute walk into town. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which is great.

Very friendly staff, nice and tasty breakfast. Only bad point for me was off smell in corridors and room. I have really sensitive none so felt really bad 😭. Room was cleaned nicely good job by hk dept . The carpet in room is really old and needs a good cleaning as it was sticking to feet.

We stayed in a split level two bedroom, each bedroom has a shower and it has amazing view of the lake.. kitchen has all the basic stuff you need.. excellent staff and location! though the property is outdated, the sofa is colour fading, lift is old, this apartment needs to be refurbished, limited parking.

Exactly what we needed after a long 3 day hike! The beds were unbelievably comfortable, so much so that we completely wasted a whole day in bed because of it! The facilities are also great, with a spa and gym should you want to use one. One annoying thing was their kitchen got closed two days in a row due to an 'emergency' that was for one day only (despite this happening both days) which meant we couldn't order any food. Staff are also very helpful and incredibly friendly. Would definitely stay here again in future.

Great location with a beautiful view if you're lucky enough to get a Lakeview room as we did. Comfortable bedding and clean room, perfect for our little family of 4. No kitchen in our room but it was fine for the 2 nights that we stayed.

Nice hotel for a couple of nights. Limited parking which could be an issue. Also only one chair at the dining table which seemed strange. Staff were very helpful and room was quite pleasant. Handy location to walk into town for dinner.

Loved staying here with my family for a week, great facilities and beautiful view! We loved how close it was to the town to walk anywhere or even catch the bus just outside. Would definitely come here again!

Excellent view and friendly staff. Room clean and good housekeeping/ service.. Hotel itself is a bit dated but the bed was so comfortable. Reasonably priced and whilst the bus is stops outside we chose to walk the short distance into town.

Amazing views of the lake and mountains. It is on the main road going in to Queenstown though. Bus stop is just outside so you can catch it to the airport. Breakfast was OK. Not many gluten free options though. I'd stay here again though.

Photos say everything about the views. Spacious 2 bedroom apartments with 2x toilets and 2x bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, living area, 2x TV's and 2x balconies. All at a very affordable price, breakfast was included for free but very basic and doesn't suit a 4 star hotel. Staff are very nice and they always greet you with a big smile wherever they see you. If you're fit then leave your car and walk to the city center (10-15 mnts walk) as its a bit hard to find parking there and would cost $8 per 2 hours

Stayed in their 2 bedroom apartment. On the positive side, staff were friendly and helpful, beds very comfortable, size of apartment for the price was good, and price for 5 people for 2 nights was good ($480). On the negative side, apartment was freezing when we arrived, heaters were inadequate for heating apartment (had to ask for extra fan heater to warm place up), whole apartment was very damp, and shower in second bedroom was not very hot. On full heat it was only warm, and as place was cold, I was trying to use shower to heat up (didn't work 😬). Asked for them to look into it, which they said they would, and was improved slightly but still did not provide a hot shower. Lastly, the decor is very run down and dated, definitely needs a refresh.

This place was a fabulous place of operations for our adventures in Queenstown. On a two level design, we had ample bedroom space upstairs with separate ensuite. Downstairs had it’s own toilet and bathroom as well as a spacious lounge and living area including a dining room and workstation/study space. Equipped with a full kitchen we were able to save a lot of money by preparing our own meals. Both floors had verandas that had majestic views across the lake. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Queenstown.

It is pretty dated but the apartments get great views. They have plenty of parking but it is always full by the evening. Breakfast is a good deal but better off going to town for dinner.

Rooms could have been cleaner, not enough parking when the hotel is busy, so be prepared for a bit of a walk when using street parking only available further away. Smokey/musty smell in room and bathroom. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and a short walk to town for all Queenstown has to offer.

First time for dinner with family who are frequent diners. Friendly staff. Wasn't overly impressed with menu but what food was ordered was well presented a d very tasty.

Beautiful place located near the heart of the city. Amazing views from the apartments. These are nice spacious and cosy apartments. Only issue I would point out is the lack of parking. They have limited parking on site which fills up very quickly. If you don't make it to hotel before dark then you may not get the parking resulting in finding off street carpark nearby.

The size of the two bedroom apartment was good. The view from the balcony is very nice. Staff are helpful and friendly. Very handy to the centre of town. The downside though is that the hotel is in dire need of a make over. The decor is very dated. The heating in the room is only just enough to take the chill off. The heaters make a terrible ticking noise throughout the night. The ventilation is not good. Wet windows in the morning. The bar doesn't open until 5pm. The restaurant also was not open at all. We also had to park on the road or grass verge as the carpark was full.

Really needs a refresh to be a nice hotel. Common areas are very dated however the rooms have been updated a while ago and are quite nice. Really comfortable bed which was great. A short walk into town, about 10min so well located.

Great views, nice beds, love the little courtyard and it had table and chairs. Staff helpful as with bags and cars being changed, leaving keys at desk, VIP parking for luxury car to be picked up etc. Very happy for price and would stay again. Bathrooms do need updating but otherwise it's all good

We stayed at Copthorne for a week during our stay in Queenstown. We had a wonderful view from our room!! Check out the picture! Staffed 24 hrs. Good amount of parking if you're driving. About a 12 minute walk from town centre which isn't bad at all. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel. Good wifi. Dinner at the restaurant was also great. Our room had plates, cutlery, and a microwave which was great for breakfast. Some parts of the room/hotel seemed old, and the spa wasn't the best (hence the 4 star)

Fantastic views, bathroom is a bit dated but it has everything you need with a full kitchen included. balcony is a nice touch and would be of great use in warmer conditions. Free undercover parking, close to town (5min drive). I must mention the views again as this is magnificent and is great value for what you pay for.

Good place to go but definitely not in winter. The room has a large balcony with nice view, and the staffs are friendly and helpful and they will try their best to fulfil your demand. There are few points need to be addressed: the shower room comes without no glass door and the heater in the room is useless. When you shower you cannot keep the hot air in the bathroom which makes you feel like torturing instead of enjoying. The heater can only heat up a small space (just in front of the heater actually) and has very little use to increase the temperature of the whole room. Although the room is large and the price is good I will still recommend not to stay here unless you are not afraid of cold.

Great view. Nice buffet breakfast. Heater was pretty ordinary and clicked constantly when on high and wasn't powerful enough. Great bath and hot water. Convenient undercover parking. Hotel is close enough to the centre of town that you can have a beautiful lake walk there.

This hotel is in dire need of a makeover. The room was big with large windows and good size balcony. However, basic furniture and poor decor with unfilled holes in the wall, chips out of the plaster and a very scruffy balcony. The bathroom was unheated and the fan was totally inadequate and unable to make any impression on the misted up mirror. Bedroom windows had heavy condensation in the morning despite open windows. The breakfast was poor quality and the food was cold. The in-house restaurant was closed Saturday and Sunday nights. No idea how it makes four stars. On the plus side, the staff were excellent and very helpful.

The customer service was excellent. Rooms a bit dated, ours had visible water damage and the shower pressure wasnt so great :( Overall though id recommend a visit, customer service is huge for me and not only were they friendly but also willing as locals to show us the best places to go. Thankyou!

A warm and friendly welcome at check-in, a spacious comfortable room with a great view across the lake and a good breakfast. We also used the private spa which was great. We'd recommend this hotel for a stay in Queenstown 👍😁

Highly recommend the Copthorne, the staff were so friendly and helpful and was at a great location, rooms were clean and the beds were comfy which is amazing when being away from home, they had a porta cot and blankets for our 1year old set up for us.overall great stay.

We spent two nights here and were lucky enough to have a fourth floor room with spectacular views. The apartments are slightly dated but very spacious and well equipped. Free parking in onsite is very convenient and the apartments are situated a very convenient distance from town. I don't give five stars because the staff could improve their customer service and be a lift me more polite to guests.

We stayed in a spacious well appointed 2-level self-contained suite. The kitchen was pretty basic but serviceable enough unless you want to do a dinner party. The staff were helpful. There is somewhat of a shortage of parking so get a spot an walk into town - which is not as far as it looks on a map. Defintely a good option for families.

Clean and tidy but very dated, noisy and had to wait 20 minutes to book in others were waiting longer than us. Would not stay here again unless absolutely necessary.

Amazing place. Great service. We arrived and found the half of the hotel we were staying in the lift didn't work. . My mum can't walk properly, so with little fuss the staff changed our room to the other side. Simple. Even if hotel was booked out. Great meals. Easy parking. Amazing views.

Room was good with balcony and lake view. The rooms were clean and tidy and they came in every morning and changed linen , did dishes and emptied bins. All of these were cheaper than the rate we paid for something that should cost bugger all. I normally book their website as they have some good deals.

This is an average place to stay. The staff are very friendly and will do anything to help. I stayed here almost 10 years ago and the place is the exact same. Very outdated. The rooms are ok but the bathroom was awful. The exhaust fan barely works, and I think it has been like that for a very long time as the paint is starting to bubble on the walls and there is mould around the shower and toilet. The bathroom would stay moist for a few hours after hopping out of the shower. We kept the bathroom door open all of the time to try and dry it out quicker. You get what you pay for I suppose as it is one of the cheaper places around town. It is a nice walking distance to town (sucks walking back up the hill though). It gets very confusing as there is another Copthorne on the same road a few hundred meters away. I was very specific with taxi drivers etc and would always give the address but some still got it wrong a couple of times. Our ski gear was delivered to the wrong hotel (staff were very friendly in trying to get Cardrona to pick it up and deliver to the correct one though). We also had another driver arrive at the wrong hotel even though I gave the full address. The names of the hotels are too similar so can get very confusing. The dinner menu in the restaurant was minimal but I loved the pumpkin risotto. The rooms must be well insulated as we didn't have the heater on too often. We even found ourselves kicking the blanket off in the middle of the night as it was very hot even without the heater on. Our heater did make an annoying ticking noise when turned on to high. The view from our room was nice (once we wiped all of the condensation away).

Good hotel good location. Good room.. Lost points on small things. No coffee machine in room. No complimentary water bottle. Ran out of Orange juice at breakfast and mushrooms. . Small things but important.

We had a ground floor room. It was clean and tidy. There was direct access to the patio from the room. The off street parking was good. The view at this level is mainly of the street but you could see some the potential if the next floor up. The room was quite noisy with the passing traffic even though the window etc was double glazing. There is free WIFI but it was one of those that's frustrating to use as your forever getting kicked off it. Overall a reasonable room and for Queenstown we received a good rate.

Functional - good location, 1 km from town centre, lake view but across a busy road. Room clean but dated and bland. Good size fridge and comfortable beds. Staff perfunctory all except one helpful guy on reception. A good base for exploring the area.

We used the private spa which proved to be a popular facility so you need to book it in advance. The view from the breakfast room is nice but the windows could do with a good clean. Mr Singh have a great trip to Australia for your cricket tripyou are a real asset to this hotel.

I recommend this place to stay. Luckily, parking is on same level as elevators so getting luggage up to room was fine. The hotel is built on the main road leading into the town with a constant flow of traffic and of course -single glazed windows that do not keep the noise out.

A lovely destination perfectly positioned for amazing views. The rooms are spacious and fairly modern. You are a 10 minutes walk to the town centre of Queenstown. Staff are all very welcoming. The only real negative is the price of internet while you stay which is a little expensive.

Rooms are clean and view from the room was amazing . However, dining options are disappointing. Food choices at the breakfast are very limited. Fried Rice and noodles is not what everyone eats for breakfast. Choices for vegetarian food is severely limited. Also, the food doesn’t appear fresh.

Amazing apartments overlooking the beautiful Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. The views are stunning and the service is pretty good. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning for hot summer days. It is also around 1.5km away from town centre. Although the walk is pretty awesome considering the views. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff but rushed us through check in which didn't quite fit with our holiday pace. Cot was ready for use in our two bedroom apartment unit. The room is antique, it's split levels and the staircase is super narrow. It is a two bedroom two bathroom unit, both toilets are separated from the shower and one with tub. The lounge is spacious. Both levels have walk out balc witg million dollar view is great. At night it was too cold for baby with the nightstove turned to max, so we asked the reception to give us another heater which was delivered to us immediately. 10min walk to city centre, but the walk is along highway so it's hard to cross the road. Once you crossed the road it's all easier and can even take the park route to town. Going back up to the apartment from town is up a slope, with a pram was difficult, so we took taxi (around 12 dollars). We've never stayed this side of the town before. This is a good experience.

Room was great and awesome view, but not a lot of parking available and we were staying on the other side of hotel so had to get our cases down stairs, need a better system especially for our senior visitors.

Helpful and friendly staff. Undercover parking is available (1st drive way on right in Suburb street when entering from Frankton road). We had a 2 bedroom unit which is in a townhouse format. The unit enterance floor has a kitchen (well equipped) + living area with balcony + toilet. The upstairs area provides 2 bedrooms with a common toilet and 2 bathrooms out of which one is located within the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a balcony too. Both balconies provide a view of Lake Wakatipu, Cecile and Walter peaks and depending upon the location of the unit also a view of the Remarkables. The unit was clean and tidy. The unit was not equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. However I think the hotel has laundry facilities common to all its residents. We also noticed that the WiFi speeds were quite good and offered for free with unlimited data. A+ for that especially for the families with young kids to get that YouTube Kids fix 😊. The hotel is only a handful of minutes drive away from Queenstown CBD. The hotel has an onsite restaurant as well. We would certainly come back to this hotel in our next visit and highly recommend it.

Nice quiet place despite being on a main road.. Although it is close to town, nearly impossible to get out with traffic around 4-6. Nice view, giant rooms and small facilities to whatever needs you have.

Had 3 days here and really enjoyed stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in bar was excellent. Beers cold and view fabulous. Could have stayed longer

Bathrooms very old and dated. Shower pressure was not good. Curtains didn't shut and a noise which was consistent every so often. Sounded like something was faulty somewhere.

Nice hotel the staff are friendly not that we had much contact with them. The room was a bit tired looking but clean. Free parking and 24 hour reception is a big bonus and price was competitive. My major problem was the lack of free WiFi in the room this is the first hotel in a long time to charge for wifi in this day and age is just money grabbing in my book. Even cheap motels offer wifi included in the room rate and for a big chain of hotels like this not to is shocking. Food prices are very high too $30 for breakfast is a bit steep. The restaurant was always quite. There are a lot better deals to be had in Queenstown. I will avoid Millennium hotels in future as don't like to feel ripped off. If you don't mind paying over the odds for services then this is the place for you.

We had an interesting overall experience here, I'm conflicted how to review it. Most of the staff were very nice, Elise worked the daytime and was constantly smiling and offering to help in any way she could, and she did try to book us tours, make suggestions, and always incredibly warmly. Some of the other employees were also helpful in booking things but there was a subtle feeling of being "put upon" and not really happy to be helping. We often felt guilty in even asking for help because it felt like we were being a burden, and that's not really something a hotel should allow a guest to feel. It's an intangible thing but something that only happened in this one hotel amongst anywhere we stayed in our NZ honeymoon. What annoyed us most while there was that there was a nitpicky charge for using the internet, and this is something we rarely saw in NZ but in the few times we did see it every other hotel just waived it knowing it's not typical for many travelers, and also it was our honeymoon, so without any fuss it was always waived in other hotels. Not the case here. We had to ask them to waive those charges and they said they'd ask the manager, after 2 days of asking the manager finally spoke with me and said that there was nothing he could do. This was ridiculous, first of all to be the only place in NZ that kept that charge but also to tell me as a manager he can't remove the charges I simply have trouble believing. I even told them that the main Copthorne hotel down the street removed the fees if using the restaurant, AND that we stayed at another Millenium Hotel on our trip, but I felt like we were begging for scraps and they said no and we simply had to pay. Every hotel has a right to stick charges in customer pockets but the lack of flexibility when honeymooners are clearly strapped for cash and asking for it to be waived, we were very unimpressed by this aspect of the service. The room itself was nice and a good size with a great view of the lake.

Hotel close to the CBD, little dated but had good view to the lake and mountains. Ask for the free spa booking, you’ll love it.

Nice and cozy place for stay. Very much walkable to the town. Had brilliant views from the room in 3rd floor.

TVs locked to hotel movie/tv services and unable to utilize HDMI ports, USB or external source (Laptop,Xbox). No free Wifi or even small daily allowance (apparently you can get wifi if booked online through there website, normal wifi rates are astronomical). Apartments are clean enough and good value for money for Queenstown. But business needs to enter the modern age and have less restrictions and stop cheap money grabbing techniques. Won't be coming back.

We stayed at the Copthorne Lakeview in Queenstown in mid February. Our stay was great and the desk staff was awesome. Maira and her staff went above and beyond in making our stay as amazing as it was...including making sure that the weather was perfect for our trip to Milford Sound :) The Dawsons

Service is good. But room has smell, and not really cleaning the room.

It's a decent place. I was there for a wedding. Simple and effective. Great views. But I wouldn't class it as amazing. Its a decent place for a decent price.

Needs a bit of work on building

The location is about 10 minutes walk from town but this is a central location. Tea and coffee making facilites I found there to be a lot of traffic noise as it is situated on the main road Queenstown to Frankton. Some furniture is chipped and I don't think i will ever go back.

Beatiful lakeview from the terrace of the rooms on 2nd floor. Beds need to be replaced. Try to ask rooms on 2nd floor since they are better condition compared to ones on 1st floor.

Ann and I stayed for 2 nights here.....wow....what a place to stay......great apartment....great view.....very well run.....we were with a tour group of 40 and not one person had a negative thing to say. There were possums on the roof which is hilarious but caused sleep deprivation....not the hotel's fault though. Would recommend the place to anyone.....it compliments the beautiful town of Queenstown well.
