It is a very very nice place: well managed, clean, modern.
The restaurant inside the hotel is really good. The rooms are very well furnished.
With my girlfriend we are having a great holiday in Queenstown.
V.
Great location, just few minutes walk to the heart of the Queenstown city. Clean & well maintained rooms. Great chance of finding a free car park right in front of the hotel with no time constraint.

I stayed here in July last year, check-in was friendly and easy, the room had a view, and the hotel was clean, I did find one of two receptionists a little unpleasant during my stay, The location is convenient. had a dinner one night down at its restaurant and enjoyed it.

Hello, Ramada staff! Thank you for my excellent stay over my time at your hotel it was enjoyable and my room was clean and beautiful. However I did fine the staff could be rude at times and the parking was terrible stating we had to pay 25 dollar’s for a park. But besides from that my stay was good, thank you!

Just love the response to the reviews posted by disgrunted
unreasonable and spoiled people.
Good to see the other side of the story.
So PLEASE read the reply to comments PEOPLE.
In modern culture it is easier to complain than to compliment.
Looking forward to our stay.
Big shout out to Pauline ☆☆☆☆☆☆

- The area was close to the city center.
- The bed was comfortable and the view was amazing. The staff were all so helpful.

Great Hotel, my experience was lovely. Good service from staff, room was clean and beautiful, views of Queenstown were spectacular. Thank you Ramada 😇 I'd definitely stay here again
Z.
Great location, friendly staff got a lake view room. Enjoyed my stay here

Very nice stay at this hotel. We upgraded to a studio which offered a bit more room. Staff friendly and helpful. Cleanand comfortable room. Just a couple of points which could be improved on. Lack of storage in room. One little draw on the bedside table nor really big enough to put anything away. I personally like to unpack my bag and only had the wardrobe to put things away. Attention to detail with cleaning. A small Lolly was under the bed when we arrived and still there when we left. Yes a minor thing I know and certainly did not affect the quality of our stay
M.
Such good value, close to town with 5min walk through gardens but out of the noisy centre which we like. Cafe could be improved, bit clinical.
Thank you for your reply, happy to hear cafe being refurbished. My last experience the food was great, decor not so great. Didn't notice it was closed this time...my bad. Will look forward to checking it out next time I stay at The Ramada Queenstown.

Stayed in Lakeview Studio Apartment on the 1st Floor, no road noise considering it is on the main road into Queenstown. Apartment itself was great, very clean looked brand new had a small kitchenette and also washer and dryer
Price for room was reasonable, location is great as you are not right in town. Easy 10min walk downhill into town, different story walking back up.
Secured parking in the basement was $25 a night, this was programmed into room key and enabled you to access the basement by lift through scanning your room key before pressing the basement button. Great for security purposes or other option find a park on the road or side streets, good luck with that.
We enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again
As a side note – all the large supermarkets Countdown/New World are out by the airport.

Situated close enough to town to walk there in 10-15 minutes. However, this hotel's parking policies are weird. You have to pay $25 to park on site and if you choose to park in the garage (rather than on the side of the driveway where there's only like 6 spots), the hotel receptionist needs to let you in/out, they don't give you an access card. I was told this was due to security reasons, but I can see it being a major PITA if you want to come and go as you please and I've never heard of a hotel doing this. I chose to park on the side of the driveway and was issued a paper valet placard to hang on my rear view mirror.
Also, this hotel doesn't really have any amenities except for a small gym, and if you want to do laundry the only facilities are in specific hotel rooms, so you have to pay more to upgrade rooms if you want that as well.
Overall, the location is good but for the price I was not impressed with the lack of amenities and upcharges. Would not stay here again.
Edit: As you can see from the owners response, they are condescending jerks and don't seem to understand that I'm explaining to others for their benefit that there is no shared laundry facilities, which is actually common in most hotels of this quality. But I guess, by extrapolation, this means I expect champagne on my flights or whatever ridiculous comparison the owner is trying to make. Sure, bro?
Also, if the parking garage situation isn't due to security concerns, I suggest you retrain your front desk staff because that's exactly the explanation I was given 😂.

Just a other motel no parking unless you do want to pay an additional $25 fee and even that's limited on top they don't let you know when booking disappointed but it was clean
P.
Excellent service from the lovely man at the counter, lovely clean, warm modern room. The only slight downside is the TV. These days I prefer to be able to stream than watch Sky which inevitably has many channels with nothing on that you want to watch.
L.
Location is fantastic! Best value in QT we think. Clean and tidy rooms. Quiet. Friendly staff. Easy. All rooms have good views, we stayed on level 2 and 4.
K.
Excellent value and location! Kalai arranged late check out and a free upgrade. My partner and I had just finished the routeburn track and loved that there was a washer and dryer in the room. Very quiet and comfortable room. We will plan on staying here during future Queenstown visits.
R.
Comfortable hotel with a great location for a fair price. Comfortable beds. Only downside is lack of noise insulation between rooms. Shower in other room sounds like it's in my room.

The initial reasons to book the hotel was the distance to city center, brand name and good deal. It was a standard room with mountain view (Gondola view) and additional price for lakeview, though wanted to book the kitchenette room but were sold out/didn't display at time of booking as it offered more room space.
After arriving at hotel, there is loading zone carpark for load/unload your luggage. The check-in process was very quick and friendly. It offers paid parking $25/night, as its common with 4-5 stars properties. But can park on street 24hrs free parking 😀, and reception staff can help you with it. I did find paking on Frankton rd n Hobart st, but difficult on 31st night 😀.
The room being standard size comfortable for 2. It offers nice, very comfy n king size bed with TV (15+ channels), small fridge, etc. The bathroom was good with decent size. The beddings and towels were (house keeping) cleaned and changed everyday, hard to notice with some of the properties.
The walk to city center, lake, esplande is 400-600mts (approx 10mins walk) which was best part as no need to find carpark n pay hourly in city center as it can be hard at times (also the parking charges in city center around $2-4/hr).

Stayed here for two nights in March 2020. The hotel is practically brand new, and the room were clean and well furnished. The staff was very helpful in arranging for a last minute tour booking to Milford Sound for me, and went out of their way to help me with some unforeseen issue that came up during the trip. The in house restaurant was excellent. Had breakfast and dinner there for the duration of my stay, and the food and service were first rate. The only downside is there's no self parking so expect an additional charge for valet service if you don't want to park off site.

Great new hotel with clean studios and friendly check in staff
M.
Stayed at Ramada for 6 nights due to its close proximity to town. We were greeted and were constantly met with warm welcome from staff, particularly by James, which is made for the industry. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. James your a credit to the hotel. We’ve travelled extensively and your unforced service was so well appreciated. The hotel itself new and clean. Would recommend.
A.
Nice central place to stay can walk every down town easily. Paid for a lake view hotel room to have a pillar right through the window. Ended up paying extra after one night and moved to the studio apartment as there was no cutlery in the “hotel room” option it’s very basic. Parking costs an absolute bomb and ends up being a very expensive place to stay..
E.
Clean room, lovely staff. Anticipated our needs before we did! Perfect walking distance from town and beautiful views of the lake/mountains. Cute bar area outside but we didn’t get the chance to enjoy.
I.
Hotel was brand new when we stayed, taxi driver wasn't sure it was even open. Still had that new hotel smell! Unfortunately our room also had a minor leak in the bathroom sink that they were unable to fix without a plumber, so they upgraded us to a suite with a kitchen and nicer fixtures. Overall it was a great stay, the staff were super nice and the suite was great! It is a 20 meter climb from the town though that didn't bother us much.
S.
We had a great time staying here. The room was very clean and the staff, particularly Kalai and Liza, were extemely helpful. Would definitely come back.
H.
Ok this hotel has the “5star” views… the pictures don’tfo it justice!! !!! Everything else that you need in good hotel is there too… amazing location and accessibility. Helpful staff.. tidy facilities.
K.
The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome.
They were also extremely helpful when planning our daily activities.
The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s only a 5 minute walk to town. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Surprisingly, there are not that many hotels in Queenstown within walking distance of the centre. We were therefore very pleased to find the Ramada Central just a 10 minute walk from town. The hotel only opened in August 2019 so if very new and modern. The staff were very friendly and the studio apartment was lovely!
D.
Stayed here marathon weekend and what a fantastic location. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Fully appointed apartments including washing facilities, perfect. We'll be back. Thanks James, Carla and Greg Ewen for a brilliant 4-day stay.
J.
Had to book on short notice as flights were cancelled. It was already a terrible day, but when we arrived we were upgraded to a suite for free and given a late checkout!
They booked our shuttle to the airport the flowing day and handled it all.
Room was massive, comfy bed and great view (once it stopped raining). Only a few minutes walk to the town centre.
Will be back when we visit Queenstown again!
S.
We are extremely impressed with our stay at Ramada, we we're upgraded as soon as we checked in, which we we're so grateful for. The staff went far and beyond what we had expected, not only we're they very professional but so kind and lovely altogether. The only small issue we had was the parking but other than that our stay was phenomenal!!
Thank you ramada and staff,
Xx Sydney Couple xx

We had fantastic views of the lake. The hotel is very new and as such the rooms were well appointed. Wifi was brilliant, extremely fast and no limits. Location was perfect for us, 5 min walk to CBD.
M.
Excellent hotel - quiet, great location, easy walk to town, new fresh rooms.
The regular friendly welcome from Sophie on the front desk is always a nice start to the stay 😀
D.
We checked in after our flight was cancelled and we needed last minute accommodation. We were upgraded upon check in and the staff went above and beyond to make our last minute stay as comfortable as possible even assisting with booking our airport shuttle. We will definitely be back next time we are in Queenstown.

Lovely and spotless new building, but has a really annoying new construction smell everywhere (in the halls, in the rooms, etc.) Cranking up the ventilation didn't help much. Apparently the building is only a few months old (as of December 2019), maybe it'll dissipate some more over the next few months? In the mean time steer clear if you're smell sensitive.
Also I thought this was odd: they provide a plunger for coffee, but then the only coffee they provide is a (delicious!) teabag-style thing. Was quite confused as this was actually stuck inside the useless plunger as if it went with it.
I.
Ramada room looks smaller than I had expected. We stayed in the Studio apartment with washer, dryer, stove, microwave, and just a home away from home unit. Reception staffs are friendly, helpful and nice.
I requested for the ocean view and they upgraded it to us- thank you! I happen to be Expedia VIP+ member and got all the great perks including late check out... Till 12pm if I'm not mistaken. Anyway we did not check out that late as we were scheduled for a long drive to Mount Cook.
There's also NZD 20 discount Expedia VIP+ for parking but it's only one time but doesn't count by days. If we were given the daily rate we would have taken the offer. NZD 45 parking for a night is their only downside. Later on we realise most hotels in Queenstown are pretty much charging such rate for parkings due to the design of this town with really limited parking spaces. We parked by the street just a short walk from the hotel..
Rooms were beautifully renovated, everything is still very new (hopefully they will maintain it). Looking at some of their one bedroom units, it is probably better than the studio as it is much more spacious. The studio unit is a little too smallish.
The only downside I thought apart from the parking is the distance to town. Although it is 300-400m walk but it's downhill towards town, and uphill again towards the hotel and takes approximately 10 mins? Sofitel is a much more centrally located hotel - literally just walk out and shops and food are there. The reason I picked Ramada is because none of the hotels in town has all amenities, especially washer and dryer. It wasn't really because of the location so it depends on what you are looking for. You will need to walk if you're staying in Ramada as parking spaces in town is limited / short parkings / paid parkings. We didn't have issues walking as we were fit enough to do the short distance.
Given a choice I would stay here again because of the amenities offered in the hotel, but if I don't need it I will choose something like Sofitel or anything else in that area.

(Translated) The lobby welcoming staff is impressed by the hospitality that is not like a business hotel. I'll start with the first meeting and give you five. Stay in upgraded room was also comfortable.

비지니스 호텔답지 않게 진심으로 환대해 준 로비 직원들이 인상적입니다. 첫 만남부터 기분좋게 시작해서 뱔 5개 드립니다. 업그레이드 된 방에서의 투숙도 편안했습니다.
