M.Flaming kiwi was an experience I will remember until I die. Amelia lights up the hostel with her beaming smile and kindness. Larissa really made the hostel a home warming ways but sturn hand to keep the hostel in check. The people you will meet are like nothing you’ve ever met before with there worldly stories and welcoming nature. Thankyou flaming kiwi for making me a better person inside and out I owe you more than you could know.
J.Flaming kiwi has been great to us! Emilia and Larissa are amazing alway happy to help with anything you need the hostel atmosphere is a big family always felt very welcome and included from the beginning thank you so much best hostel in queenstown!

D.Have not stayed here, but super happy with the service received at new COVID lock down levels - after taking our booking, then being advised that they were unable to meet COVID requirements for our stay they promptly called and offered to book elsewhere for us, and pay the difference. SO, I would definitely stay here in the future, as that kind of customers service is what I love. (Of course we did not require them to 'pay the difference, as the stress is really on them for not being able to conduct business, and we would not like to add to that).
J.Great hostel, the manager works tirelessly to keep it clean. Lots of facilities, three well equipped kitchens and a nice group of short and long term people staying. Also lots of off street parking which is a bonus, but only five minutes walk from the CBD
S.Great place to stay for the night. Provided us with towels when needed. The bunk beds were abit noisy but had a good night sleep.

T.Really nice hostel. Good facilities and bedrooms. The beds in the dorm rooms have little curtains for more privacy. The sevice at the reception was really good and we got everything we asked for. The only minus were the constantly flooded bathroom and kitchen, which was pretty annoying, but well
H.Great place! :D I stay here every time I come to Queenstown, friendly staffs, nice and clean, free bicycles to use etc. I highly recommend the 4 persons room.( Hippo is another good place to stay too, but this place is nicer)Ps. The Internet is quite slow sometimes.

G.Amazing hostel! Very helpful with us with a last minute booking! Also were given an upgrade to a cabin for a few nights which was great! Even though the dorm I was in (3) was lovely and had its own bathroom and plenty of space for everyone! There were lots of kitchens and it was never too busy! Everyone was so friendly and the living room area genuinely feels like your’e at home. Perfect location, close to town but not bang in the middle. Great facilities and things to use for free! Including tea and coffee which is always great! Really clean and tidy. Best hostel I’ve stayed in in Queenstown :)
A.Best hostel in Queenstown! All of the staff members are really nice, the hostel is always cleaned to a high standard, and the vibe is really friendly. Doesn't matter who you are, you can come down to the common room and make friends with everyone. Kent, the owner, is super friendly, funny, and really cares about the guests who stay at the hostel. He's been very accommodating to my many requests throughout my stay here. Highly recommended!
A.Very welcoming hostel. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay convenient. Cooking is very relaxed and easy thanks to the three kitchens. Dorms and bathrooms are modern and comfy. Free bike hire is great, although the bikes are partially dated. Otherwise the layout is a bit confusing at first.
N.We spent two nights in a double bedroom in the Flaming kiwi. The room was clean and furnished in a modern way. All of the stuff and the only bird really nice and friendly. What we didn't like that much was that even though everything was cleaned every morning, most of the kitchen utensils were still not really clean and neither was the fridge or the food storage place. However Im aware that it can only be as clean as some of the guests leave it.
s.An affordable accomodation. We stayed for two nights in dormitory. Quite clean, neat and has lot toilets. Kitchens have good facilities too and we made good use of it. This hostel is quite near the town center, market. Attractions like Gondola ride and the lake are a few furlongs away. Over all, a good place to stay in.

All of the long term stayers are lovely and make everyone feel welcome as soon as you arrive.
It's a social hostel yet, respectful.
Full of "family dinners" and movie/games nights as well as the odd few drinks together.
The hostel is immaculate and all of the staff go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and at home here.
It really is a home away from home, the dorms are cosy, great facilities.
Can't fault this place...

D.Have many a good memory from here. Beds have their own outlets and light. Three kitchens, only one closes at night. Always someone to talk to in the lounge area. Best location of any hostel in town. Quick walk to town but not so close it's loud from the partying and even closer to the freshchoice (cheapest grocery in town.) Also not too far from queenstown hill. Wish I was still there
S.Probably only one hostel has parking in Queenstown but still very close to the town! Clean, roomy kitchen and living room area and good bathrooms. You can hire bike, locker, hair dryer and some more for free. Staffs are very helpful and friendly :-)
S.Good hostel! Very friendly staff and great facilities. They only thing I didn't like was the bunk bed, it felt quite unstable.... the lights and powerpoints at every bunk in my room were awesome!
C.The accomodation was suitable, 3 kitchens helped spread the load and their was a nice communal feel about the whole place.
Internet ran quite slowly on wireless however there were 2 desktops available for use.
Guest services include free use of phone/bikes/spa.
Chris and Kent were more than helpful for all of our needs/requests.

F.The flaming Kiwi is a lovely place. I stayed there for 3 months and it was an awesome time. Its a small working hostel and most of the guests stay there for longterm. The staff is very helpful and openminded for a chat.
T.Quiet part of town, yet not too far from the city center. Good atmosphere and decent wifi at times (free). Good bathrooms, homely living area and decent beds. Overall I was quite happy with my stay.

K.Beautiful place to stay for a while and the staff members are friendly and helpful. There is also a small parking space available most of the time. The aerial view is beautiful and there is a lot to enjoy in this town.
C.I've only been here for 2 nights and I think it's pretty cool. Plenty of toilets, showers and kitchens for everybody. Unlimited wifi, free parking, free bicycles, free, international calls and a lot of other things.
A.I got I to Queenstown and this place is closed to everything, and the people are so cool. Andre, one of the staff, helped me get a bottom bunk because I could not climb to the top bunk, to hurt myself. Kudos the this place and their staff. Awesome place
