I.This heated pool right outside our room, bit noisy if in use by other guests, however we were out most of our stay, there is also another outdoor spa pool and thermal pool. Lovely stay. Walking distance from the government gardens and there's a cafe around the corner.

G.Stayed 1 night, very comfortable but our room was a bit dated. Very friendly staff. Our neighbor was snoring so loud we struggled to sleep so the walls are pretty thin. Overall not bad, we will stay here again.

B.Great location very handy to eat street. The owners kindly let us store our bikes in the utility room. The hot pools are great after a long day out riding bikes in the forest. The rooms are always immaculate and, being thermally heated, very warm.
L.The hotel is not bad. Maybe I would go back again, however I would not recommend it to others. The bathroom was not clean enough and there was mojo in the bathtub, which was unpleasant for me. The wifi was taken from me at midnight, before the expiration date and the room delivery time. There were ants in the kitchen. As for the rest, it was fine. Good location, the rooms are comfortable and quite spacious. I'd give it a 3 out of 5

C.My husband and I stayed for a night in December 2017. We got the room with 1 double bed and 3 single beds, originally only booked for a double room. The room has small fully equipped-kitchen, the bathroom was spacious but water seems to leak from the shower to the basin area. Few free car parks available nearby. Jacuzzi was nice but a bit too small to fit more than 4 people. The thermal pool was warm and secluded. However, the room seems to be really dusty as my husband had to walk to the chemist to get some antihistamine for me as I couldn't breath after spending some time inside.
C.No air con. Had a room two sets of stairs up, not so great with children. Room was spacious and nice view. A couple of neat little pools but didnt have time to try them.
E.Lovely, clean, quiet, well equipped accommodation. Excellent location to the town, bars, restaurants and attractions. We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very friendly and we would definitely return.
G.The Ambassador Thermal Motel is ideally situated near the main shopping area, the lakeside and the Governor Park Gardens. The studio rooms with kitchenet are large, bright and clean throughout. The units have one large double bed and one single so they can accommodate 3 people easily. There is a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking the rear car park. A table and four chairs is also provided for dining. The bathroom is small yet functional with a cabinet shower. There are plenty of towels, even an extra one in the cupboard under the sink.

Standard pool is great and so are the thermal and the spa ones.
M.Large rooms! The staff was very accommodating to us when we arrived. I am crushed I didn't get to try their mineral hot bath! Cleanliness - 3.5
giving this rating just because there was a smell of stagnant water from the outside of our room which is probably due to just some water pooling in certain areas. But I have a sensitive nose and so it bugged me quite a bit.

it's very close to the i-site, so very easy to get on coaches and tour buses to do fun activities within Rotorua.
Comfort - 4
my mother had complained that the bigger bed would sink in the middle a bit and it hurt her back, the single beds were fine though!
Overall, very happy with the stay :)

S.Room was clean. Service was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location and with nice lake view on third floor. But WiFi signal was only good in the hallway, not in the room.
C.Nicely situated for Town and walkways. We found although tidy needs an injection into the 20th century, Just a bit tired in its decor. Some basics were missing information folders of Rotorua and what's on & things to do in the area. Yes, the basic kitchen equipment was there to cover the cooking. Couldn't fault the reception but these folk were standing in for owners as they were on leave. We were comfortable so it comes back to what you require. It's certainly not the Ritz.
C.We only stayed one night at the hotel but wished we could have stayed longer. It is great value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. We would definately recommend it.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Motel man müsste unbedingt einmal an das renovieren denken. Die Lage nur wenige Minuten vom Zentrum zu Fuß ist allerdings hervorragend und doch sehr ruhig gelegen mit genügend Parkplätze
