N.We had an awesome stay at Doolans. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and warm. Our room and the lounge area were spotlessly clean, the homemade afternoon tea delicious and the breakfast perfect. The gardens beautiful even at the start of winter. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay again and recommend the property to anyone who would like to get away from the hustle of every day life. Ngaire

As picky travellers, we always have high expectations in terms of the places we stay at. Doolan's Country Retreat exceeded our expectations! Thank you Louise and Mark for your wonderful hospitality!
A.We have just had a real treat. This place has magnificent vibes, super friendly hosts and adorable donkeys, incredibly comfy beds and a well-designed interior surrounded with well-thoughtful elements.

B.Louise and Mark were amazing hosts. Their property is beautiful. Quiet, secluded with amazing views over Rotorua. They were extremely helpful with helping us decide what to see and do and where to eat. All of their suggestions were spot on. The breakfasts were amazing as Louise is a great cook.
We would definitely recommend Doolans to anyone visiting Rotorua.

G.(Translated) What a fantastic welcome. The owner arrived immediately with a pot of tea and homemade cakes. The house consists of 4 bedrooms and a very large living room. You sit there with other travelers. Breakfast is shared with the other travelers in the living room. You can bring your own bread and toppings, but you are not allowed to cook there. The owner makes a delicious breakfast.

Wat een fantastisch ontvangst. De eigenaar kwam direct met een pot thee en zelfgemaakt gebak aan. Het huis bestaat uit 4 slaapkamers en een hele grote huiskamer. Daar zit je gezellig met andere reizigers. Het ontbijt is gezamenlijk met de andere reizigers in de huiskamer. Je mag wel je eigen brood en beleg mee nemen maar je mag er niet koken. De eigenaar maakt een heerlijk ontbijt.
