H.Great price to stay here. The grounds are a tad tired but inside the motel is fine. Loved the hot tub. Close walking proximity to CBD shops and eateries. Had a great stay overall.
K.Our netball team Stayed here just last week, and we found it comfortable as well as affordable. We had 2 rooms as we were a group of 11 ladies.The location was great and near most things, room was cleaned everyday while we were away at games. The plunge pool was a hit with the ladies, and the staff were nothing but helpful.
E.One night stay..first the good: clean and warm..was quickly helped by a pleasant lady about the TV..the bad: customer service on arrival not great, guy had the sniffles the whole time, plus he disappeared into another room and left me waiting at the counter, no explanation. Found the bed very hard, so glad that I took my own topper pad! Also they need to totally update the toilet seat as it does not even fit the toilet. A bit yuk to use it actually. Could not enjoy the benefit of the pool as not set up for anyone who has mobility issues. Asked for accommodation to be quiet but there was a fair bit of road noise.
R.Friendly staff. Rooms were tidy but could do with a good spring clean eg place was vacuumed but pulled out sofa and there were crumbs and beer bottle lids underneath.
Wifi connection not good. Had to wait 10 minutes for a movie to load.
Stairs going to upstairs room is very unsafe. No railings or balustrade.
Other than that, good value for money!
S.We stayed overnight here recently on a family trip to Rotorua. Firstly, the good: we have four kids and baby, and the 2-bedroom apartment comfortably fit all of us in. They hadn't received my request for a portacot by email but when we checked in, found us one straight away and brought it to the room. The kitchenette was handy and clean. In fact, the whole unit was clean and tidy. The 'bad': Not really bad, more in need of improvement, was the decor and paintwork, which was really dated and in places in poor condition. The bathrooms especially need work to modernise them. The floor around the plunge pool gets super slippery and my daughter fell and hit her head on the tile floor (luckily she was ok) when getting out of the pool. The plunge pool itself was old and not very inviting. The sulphur smell of Rotorua was particularly strong at the motel. All in all though, it was adequate for our needs as one-night stop.
J.Awesome stay at midway motel, very friendly owner's. Our experience has been enjoy able. If we return we will definitely consider this motel. The price I felt was reasonable as others were to expensive, they had the necessities and the bonus for us was the plunge pool. A+ I say.
P.Friendly service and reasonable priced rooms with parking right outside your door. Not too far from town and close by to a takeaway shop.
V.Nice place to stop at if you don't need playing grounds and a swimming pool. It has double storey living space and a hot plunge pool inside the bathroom area. Placed on the corner of the main road, so access is good coming or going in either direction.
B.A relatively inexpensive accommodation for families and large groups - especially if splitting the bill which is a real plus for the budget, however do note that the facility is very very basic and only really accommodates making a cup of tea, taking a shower and sleeping so i wouldn't class this place as a cozy or luxury facility.
The bathrooms do need renovating and there should be more than just two tea bags supplied to the guests, however as there is no stove you will find yourself organising food out anyway. Also be aware that there is no fan or AC units available and the rooms get super hot in the summer and this makes sleep rather difficult if you are sensitive to temperatures so you might want to plan ahead
The lady owner was quite helpful and pleasant to deal with and offered to take care of our reservations at local to-do's, however we didn't feel the guy owner was as similarily helpful as he did tell us to go and figure an attraction out for ourselves rather than helping himself which was mildly disappointing.
All up, no major complaints in the end as we were literally there for just a night whilst transiting through Rotorua. Would stay here again if only looking for accommodation.
N.You got what you paid. 150 per night for 5 people. Hot tub in the room. Shower and most interiors are dated. Overall, definitely a 4-star.
m.Warm and comfortable. Have been coming to Rotorua for over 40 years and would say would be the best place I have stayed at. Look forward to my hot tub. Thanks again.
c.Thermally heated Plunge pool was great. Comfortable beds were just what we needed to get a good night's rest after a long fun-filled day.

Nettes zentral gelegenes Motel, guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Besichtigungen. Leider war das heiße private Spa-Becken außer Betrieb und es gab kein warmes Wasser. Zur Entschädigung gab's einen Preisnachlass.
