S.Stayed New Years Eve for two nights. Warm and friendly reception, quiet and comfortable unit (2 bed apartment) which had excellent facilities.
Room was on the 3rd floor, opposite side to the street and was very quiet. Two aircon units give plenty of cooling options, which in the summer was appreciated.
Hotel is tastefully decorated and feels comfortable and homely.
Take the time to walk down the stairwell and enjoy the kiwiana decorating the walls.
b.Honestly can't rate this hotel high enough! Karen and a man that checked us in (sorry I didn't get his name) were so friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the hotel was walking distance to resturants etc. We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a lovely place to stay in rotorua. We will most definitely be back 😊

A.We stayed at the Quest hotel in Rotorua just before the Easter long weekend and we loved our stay! We had the executive room with the hot tub on the balcony and it was worth every penny! Perfect if you are at the end of your holiday and want to relax more in your hotel room. Special mention to the helpful staff member we worked with, he was amazingly helpful recommending things to do, restaurants, massages etc. We really appreciated the extra effort he put into our stay and definitely sold us in coming back again 😊

U.Loved our stay here. We booked the adults only room with spa for myself and hubby. Receptionist was lovely Indian guy, who waited for us after 6pm to give our keys. Communication and everything easy as. Room was clean, comfortable! Washing machine and dryer was perfect. Central walk to anywhere in city centre. Parks were easy and free just outside hotel. Loved it, will def book again.
Oh the spa was so relaxing bubbles were a bit loud, but they let you turn bubbles on after 8a. Till 10.30pm

Less one star because no Sky TV (come on even the small motels all have Sky) and the worst one ply toilet paper. Spend a little more for better toilet paper with the prices you're charging. Even the cheaper accommodation in Rotorua have better decent toilet paper.

Stayed one night in the directors suite, check in was a little awkward as it sometimes is (I own a tattoo studio) but you get that, the main door opening and closing under the bed of the suite is quite loud, and got minimal sleep... But the coffee I had @ 7pm totally wouldn't have helped with that so I won't knock any points off 🤣🤣
The room was great, and check out was very friendly (with the same person that checked us in)
All in all a good stay
Only fyi is parking, ensure you book a spot, and bare in mind the secured parking is very tight for space
J.My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and could not be happier with our stay (other than wishing we had booked more nights in Rotorua!) The rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Great amenities - very helpful to have a washer and dryer, plus a decent kitchenette. The staff were so helpful (thank you especially to Paul) and ensured they explained how everything worked. Their demeanor was friendly and made us feel right at home, and gave us great suggestions about things to do in town and for our next destination. Everything we needed was in walking distance, plus we were able to secure an off-street car space for a small fee. I would recommend calling ahead to reserve a car space if you need one, though there was plenty of free street parking out front (in the evenings and on weekends after lunch Saturday). We also ordered the breakfast pack for a fee and arranged to have some items purchased for our stay. It was our first time staying in a Quest property and won’t be the last. And we will definitely be returning to Quest Rotorua Central next time we are in NZ! Thank you for everything.

It is a service apartment. The room is spacious. They got everything I need and feel like home.
There is a proper kitchen and a complete set of utilities so you can just stay home and cook breakfast / dinner (for those who want to save money, or for romantic cooking fun).
The bed is very comfortable, and there's a single bed for kid(?). Suitable for couples and family.
Washing (powder as well) and drying machines are provided.
The cleaning service & reception service is very professional.

Room service was ok, but forgot to refill certain items. Our rooms view was not very good. Could hear the plumbing of the next room. Overall, good location and nice to have washing machine on holiday.
H.I'm not surprised at the great reviews here and elsewhere. Quest Central is an absolute gem.
Firstly the location is really convenient. Once we'd parked the car we didn't even think about getting into it again. The lakefront is just a 10-15 minute stroll away, and there are shops and abundant restaurants within a few minutes walk in every direction.
The hotel is modern, thoughtfully designed, clean and well managed by the very pleasant owners. Our 1-bedroom Executive Room was perfect -- large, really well equipped, comfortable in every way, with a terrific bathroom (good amenities) and a nice furnished balcony (with hot tub, although we didn't use it). Even an ashtray on the balcony table which is thoughtful for us smokers :)
If we are in Rotorua again we won't even think about staying anywhere else, and I couldn't recommend it more highly
V.Stayed here for four nights from Perth. Zam at the front desk was on duty for all those days. She alone deserves FIVE stars! She was brilliant. The food places that she
recommended were as fantastic as she said! We needed to find a place to buy a new card for a digital camera and she knew exactly where we could find one. She have great directions and knows her town and job very well. We were all very impressed and very pleased with the service she provided. The apartments we stayed in were very clean and comfortable. Thank you for making our stay in Rotorua a great one. We will definitely recommend and return.
A.A nice clean serviced apartment with everything you need. The service at the front desk was excellent.
My only complaint would be that the parking we had was quite tight. Fortunately there wasn’t a car next to us most of the time so it was okay, but it would’ve been tricky had it been busier.
The spa we had is not exactly a spa it’s more like an outdoor bath. This was fine but we just weren’t quite expecting it to be like this.
I definitely recommend seeing the pohutu geyser while staying here!
B.Amazing rooms with everything you need (washer/dryer is a great addition). The Director's Suite is spacious and the hot tub on the balcony is great. The Studio rooms are smaller but still fully packed and comfortable. Staff are very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
G.we stayed at the Quest Rotorua for four nights from 17th September until 21st September, we enjoyed our stay in comfortable clean rooms. The spa on the deck however needs to be filled before use which takes around one hour, each time you want to use it. The parking is an extra cost, as is breakfast. It was disappointing that breakfast comes in plastic bags, juice in plastic satchets and yoghurt also in plastic. I would like to see this hotel attempt to be a little more eco friendly. However the staff were lovely and accommodating
M.This very centrally located apartment hotel offers everything you could want. We had a three night stay here and were 100% satisfied with every aspect. The quality of the room, the spaciousness, and the staff were all 10 out of 10. The staff were so helpful in every aspect and arranging bookings for us at many venues was no problem at all. The room was very spacious with everything we needed to cater for ourselves if that is what we wanted. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in away from my own. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and look forward to trying another Quest site in the future.

We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking Hinemoa Street and the city (not a great view, but what can you expect at the city centre!)
The room is a tad small, but well equipped with a good bathroom, kitchenette, washing machine, TV, etc. There is no electronic safe, so you have to deposit your valuables at the reception who seal it up properly.
The room service is prompt and perfect. The hotel staff is very helpful and courteous. Our receptionist DJ told us about all the activities that we could do around Rotorua and even gave us discount coupons. Parking is paid and the hotel had a Parking Lot reserved for me behind the hotel itself.
There is no Breakfast included, but there happens to be an excellent French Cafe around the corner and plenty of eating options around as well. The location is very central and everything from Starbucks to Countdown is at walking distance. You have the famous Polynesian Spa just around the corner too.
Overall, a really good hotel to stay at if you want to stay close to practically everything. Also, there's a wonderful Thursday Night Market nearby, which has some great locally made food.
M.Quest Rotorua really ticks all of the boxes. Upon checking in Paul at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, as were the the rest of the staff throughout our stay. The room was great and it was a pleasant surprise when we arrived to find that we had been given a free upgrade. The location is very convenient being right near the centre of town and only a few minutes walk to the lake and Eat Street restaurants. I will definitely be visiting Rotorua again at some point and when I do I will be sure to stay at Quest again.
A.Hotel was very clean and the staff was great. We paid the $10 parking and it was worth It. We stayed out of season so most restaurants had very short hours. Heads up, the entire town smells like sulfer and the AC units make it even worse. We stayed in the executive 1 bedroom with a hot tub out back which was lovely. We also had the hotel staff help us book various tourist events at a discounted price.
M.This place is Amazing.. Nice room, comfortable.. Kitchenand living room is together but its okay.. Toilet is okay.. Parking is free just outside the hotel from 4pm-9.30am the following day. But do ask the front office. They can explain to you more. There is a night market on every thursday near to the hotel.. Hotel is nearby to everything. Do walk around.. Hotel is amazing.

Didn't get to know the names of the housekeeper though. Great work if you ask me, the room is always done, after a long day out. Toiletries replenished and bedding in order.
Never use a Dish Drawer or washer, but learnt it from Youtube to use it and it was great!
The Panasonic Microwave/Grill/Conventional Oven is a great kitchen appliance.
Little wonder that you dare to offer monthly stays and yearly too! One can really live there! Great kitchen, great beds, great in room entertainment. Oh yes. I almost forgot the TV has great sounds too! Do not expect movie grade sound, but really good for a flat screen TV! Oh yes, radio with CD player. nice!
Movie selection? We were pampered! Not Netflix but great selections!

Booked the standard room (with hot tub), but it took quite long (around 1 hr) to fill the tub.

B.Great location on the Southside of main town Center. Easy to find and get street parking for check in. We were greeted by staff and Karen who checked us in, walked us to our room, pointed out all the major features of the very well sized room and ensured we had activities booked for our stay.
The whole building is immaculately clean and well maintained. Car parking is small but easy to access and get into the hotel. They have under stair locked storage for mountain bikes. make sure you check out the fire stairs, they even have recipes for white bait fritters on the walls.
Room was well sized and had washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Over 200 movies and free internet.
We found it easy to walk to Eat street for dinning, about 650m walk to the government gardens and Polynesian Spa and two blocks to the nearest Central Shopping Center and supermarket. Plenary of fast food close by.
Throughly enjoyed our stay and hats off to Karen and her team on the sustainability initiatives. They should be rolled out at all Quests.
P.Great apartment hotel for our stay in Rotorua. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The location is very convenient with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The fast free wifi works well and free recent movies are a bonus.

A.Wonderful check in experience. Ms Zam attended to us and gave a short tour of the room. The duty manager (sorry we forgot his name) also personally showed us later on how to use the cooker. Well equipped kitchenette with washing machine, dryer, dish washer & clean bathroom. Free movies on demand! In a nice location with eateries, the Polynesian Spa within walking distance. Nearby are large supermarkets. Great place!

The place is always clean, neat and tidy everytime when i came back to the room after a long day trip. Thank you Bronnie, our room housekeeper.
I enjoyed my stay as this place is centrally located, it is easier to get food for Muslim people as there is a Halal kebab shop down stairs as well.
What I love abt the room is that, Wi-Fi is free and there is a TV in the bedroom as well with a lot of free movies to watch.! They also have kettle, ironing board set, washing machine, cooking utensils, air freshener and a radio.

J.Centrally located apartment hotel with all the modern facilities one could desire, such as free video on demand and good quality WiFi broadband. We also had an exceedingly good customer experience as our receptionist was very attentive and well informed about all manner of activities and attractions in and around Rotorua.
D.Nice hotel, great staff, central location. Rooms vary in size quite a bit, so check so you know what to expect.. but they all have kitchen and laundry facilities which is convenient.
G.We were looking for something new and fresh for our stay in Rotorua and that's exactly what we got at The Quest. Colin and Lisa were great hosts and six of us had lovely rooms. The Spa on the deck was superb, the central location meant the we walked to most places, we slept really well with no disturbances and all for a reasonable rate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation for a great Rotorua experience.

R.In the center of town. Hotel parking is limited. There is street parking after 4pm but you have to move your car pretty early in the morning. Propertie is a bit old, but generally clean and well kept. Don't expect much of a view from the rooms, which are otherwise nice.
B.I failed to advise this is the 3rd Quest site we have stayed at....our first was in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia.....so modern, clean, central we really enjoyed our stay and it was very spacious.....we have had 4 stays now at Quest Rotorua Central and 2 stays at Quest Taupo........we always know that in Rotorua the concierge shows you to your room, takes your luggage, so professional, friendly and goes over and above being a host.....you have a welcome letter, heatpump, hot tub, television, free wifi......we are made to feel pampered, relaxed....always an exceptional experience......
B.April 2016 - As usual, Quest Apartments never fails to impress me with their high quality accommodation and standards of service.
Reasonable room rates and this location is strategically located in CBD.
However, one thing that is lacking is their secure 🔐 car parking availability. Would be good if they can provide all the guests with secure car parking spaces rather than some parking spaces behind the building. I noticed that at night, there were people wandering (loitering) around there. I wouldn't like (prefer not to) park my 2015 BMW M3 outside there 😯.
Would I go back? Yes ☺ but only if I get a secure car park.
L.Great service, small parking spaces in the car park, studio apartments are well stocked with utensils, has a dishwasher and washer/dryer. You can smell sulfur, and the kitchen drain, which were the main downsides for me.

G.The rooms are nice, service is good and the bathroom is decent. It is a good hotel to stay at. If you are looking for a better hotel, look at Novotel. Location wise Novotel is better. Don't get me wrong, this one is also at a good location - Christmas market was right outside the hotel, eat streat is only a few blocks away, shopping district is right outside. However, Novotel is right outside Eat Streat and it has river views.

It is a very functional apartment hotel with a small kitchen that can be used, all the kitchen utensils needed, and very clean, as well as a dishwasher. Each room has an outdoor jacuzzi, approximately the size of a four-person bath. But in terms of price, the CP value is not high.

ロトルアの中心部にあり、大型スーパーが近くに二つあって大変便利でした。地図では近いcountdownは実際は遠く、Pack'n Saveの方が近く、品揃えも充実していました。ホテルのレセプションは予約その他の相談に的確に応じてくれました。騒音もなく、快適に過ごせました。
