L.The location was wonderful. It was lovely waking up to a beautiful view of the lake. It was nice having a heat pump. Parking was free and convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again
T.View across the lake was great and the location is ideal but.... They couldn't find our reservation on arrival and the computer was having troubles, plus the manager didn't answer his phone They asked us to come back in 10 minutes, 30 minutes later we're back only to be told that the room type we had booked was given to a 'bulk booking' and we had been moved, to a lesser room, no discount offered. We booked 3 months ago and they had not called us about the change. We insisted on the room we booked and paid premium for. Our stay was enjoyable and the room was what we wanted.
A.The lodge was awesome for our large family, great hospitality from hosts and clean, warm accommodation. Beds were lovely and comfy. We had a great time. Thanks so so much.

Price was cheap and was booked for the location that suited our purposes.
Double bed and a single bed kitchen facilities etc..
Manager very helpful and suggested places for site seeing if we wanted.
Beautiful sunrise in the morning if your after some nice photography shots.
D.20 yrs since our first visit, never forgotten, and great to be back. Kidz love the big swing and lake access via the reserve across the (quiet) road, free kayak hire, all facilities clean and working well, a great kiwi bach experience without having to own one.
P.Great value, nice clean, spacious room, carpet and bedding was clearly brand new, friendly service, and right on the lakefront too. Quiet as well, and the free Wifi was a bonus I havent had at far more expensive hotels
Y.Good points:
1. Well prepared facilities for kids and water sports.
2. Nice lake view, close to a local reserve. I like to watch the lake and people fishing under sunset.
3. Nice management & service team. Offered me basic food when I checked in at night for free when 1st I visited that place. Helped me to wash my car when my 2nd visit. (These are additional service, not suppose to be free. I understand, appreciate)
4. Rooms are more than just fine, for $150 per suite per night (two bedrooms + 1 livingroom, In high season) for 4 adults and 2 children.
5. More than enough parking for large SUV & MPV. My car is a Toyota Alphard 8 seats MPV.
Bad points:
1. Far aways from Rotorua and major tourism attractions, 9 or 10 km?
2. Too many insects, as it is close to a lake. Remember to turn off the outdoor lights.
S.Great experience. We came to a 21st Brithday in Rotorua. The lodge was very accommodating as we arrived after 12am from Auckland.
The flat we had was compact warm and cosy. I definitely recommend staying here. I did not mention the big attraction on the Lake

M.Lovely location, lovely owner, very friendly and helpful. Recommend the great room at the front. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Sunny with a great lakeview. Close to shops and the many attractions. Pity was only overnight! Will come back again. Also was great for our little dog to stay too.
a.Beautiful location.Beds were comfortable. Two additional beds in the living room ruined the appeal of the set. I am giving it 3 stars for this reason. Rest of it was good.
P.Place needs a revamp.most things need updating. Peaceful and quiet away from the crowd. Hence away from shops. Lake side is a bonus, love the clean water if the lake.
G.Loved the view. I didn't mind the room so much because I was hardly ever in the room. I would go back there. Price wise I guess was okay.
N.OK room (ours had thin walls and few ants, but manageable). Beautiful view of the lake, but there are better options available in Rotorua.
C.I went there to check out the place, and loved the scenery with the advantage of a great fishing spot. I rate them 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
