J.I do alot of travelling, and this motel is by far the best I have ever stayed in. Hosts are super friendly and go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable and happy. Always friendly and polite and nothing was a problem. The room was great as had everything you needed. A added bonus was the spa room, which they cleaned regularly Awesome hosts.

N.I attended my brother's tangi, while staying at Wylie Court. Have stayed a few times prior and have always enjoyed my stay. Really cool owners and pleasant to talk to. They no longer serve breakfast but suggested the hotel across the street. Breakfast fit for a king!

C.Stayed for a week for work, there was a group of 12 of us. Whaea and matua treated us so well! They cooked the most beautiful kai for us every morning and night. The rooms were huge, beds comfortable and everything was clean. The pool is heated and sooo good to swim in after a hard day at mahi. 10000% would recommend to anyone who asks.

B.I have had the opportunity to stay here a number of times over the years. Rooms are good and most rooms have their own private hot tub which is nice. The decor hasn't been updated much in the 28 years since I first stayed there. A little far (about 25 minutes walk) from the main action in town if that's your thing but the local taxis are good and not very expensive.
M.Unfortunately no sky TV and TV not compatible with casting so if you are stuck in the room with kids not so enjoyable. Loved the pools, both main and plunge in unit and owners were friendly. Overall a nice enjoyable stay.
T.Great motel, we've been there twice already and enjoyed it both times. The rooms are quite big and the private spa in most of the units is a great asset. Same for the shared swimming pool, which is thermal heated, it's great to enjoy it. We would like to thank Kasha and Shane (not sure about spelling), managers of the place, who have been so helpful when we locked ourselves out of our car, with all the keys and belongings in the locked boot, obviously later than the opening hours. When we called reception to let them know that we needed new keys for our room, he decided to come in town with some tools and tried to open our boot during half an hour. We highly appreciated that he came up to help us, and even afterwards they have been so helpful for anything we needed. Great service!
V.The best is the pool. Rooms are clean but need to be updated urgently. Staff is very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Great location, easy to walk to town or local attractions. Quick drive to supermarket and restaurants.
B.Booked in here last minute after a air bnb disaster. So glad we did. We were in the double story unit and was really spacious with 2 adults and 3 kids. Everything was clean, the private spa was cool. Swimming pool is awesome! Only downside were the beds being very old and a tad uncomfortable. Thanks for having us 😊
T.Comfortable accommodation. Stayed here over Easter with the kids and we all had a great time. The thermal pool is great, with a little paddling area for the toddlers. Hot tub in the unit was a nice touch too. The units are quite old now, but still warm and comfortable. Wifi was good, a bit slow at night I guess when we're all using it but still usable. Would happily stay here again.

Pluses: the two storey theme gave us adults some privacy. Heated pool for the children. Hot tub in the room was very nice. Parking on the room literally.
Minuses : not large enough for family luggage. having to take the suitcase upstairs on the stairs wasn't fun. Too small kitchen, 5 can't sit down to eat together (no room, not enough chairs!)
V.Nice looking place with a decent pool, nice and warm. Rooms are visually nice & tidy. Beds comfy, sofa beds not so much, thin mattress so feel the springs and frame, but, all good it's a sofa bed. Would stay there again.

Had booked elsewhere and it was dirty, so happy the lovely lady over weekend found us a room for two nights.
Clean and tidy, good amenities, great outdoor heated pool and bonus of room spa pool.
Close enough to town for moderate fitness level.
Will be our first choice again in Rotorua

j.Noisy.paper thin walls.spent most nights listening to people throw up, cough what sounded like blood and a 4 hour conversation by 3 fafaini in a hot tub outside.........room was good and large outdoor pool was popular.
B.The stay here was just what we were looking for. Somewhere just to kick back and enjoy our private spa off our room. Cleanliness was great, service was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

m.Very good place to stay. It has 24h ready spa bath is available in most of their rooms and i would say this place have bigger rooms than most of motels around Rotorua.
This is the only place we stay everythime visit Rotorua.
M.Beds comfortable and unit clean had what we needed but there is no air conditioning and it was stinking hot. Blinds in upstairs mezzanine bedroom are broken and had fallen down in parts so looked real shabby and let the light in so had early morning wake-ups which sucked. Shower leaked and rot evident in skirting board.
G.We initially booked a room for 2 but upon finding the spa pool dirty, the receptionist booked us, at no extra cost to us an upgraded room. Definitely reccomend and we will be returning. This upgraded room had everything I would find in a well equipped kitchen, the room was immaculate thankyou,.

I.Loved this Motor Lodge. Walking distance to the town and dairy just round the corner. Very clean rooms with a great outdoor barbeque and pool. We had the 2 bedroom unit with kitchen. All cooking utensils, pots, pans etc were provided - basically everything you would need was provided. Staff and Management bent over backwards. Highly recommended.

M.A great place to stay in Rotorua. Our family apartment was good value for money. The heated pool in the motel grounds and individual spa pool were clean and a big hit with my 11 year old. We would definitely stay again.
M.Recently there for family function, service at Reception and at Restaurant was helpful, friendly and staff went out of their way to ensure that everyone had a great time. We had 3 rooms and family members that stayed thoroughly enjoyed their stay, those that didn't stay wished they had as they were impressed with the rooms and facilities offered. Function at the Restaurant was awesome food great, service awesome will be returning in the future.
P.The staff were amazing very accommodating and professional great service. We held a family birthday here at short notice and booked 4 rooms and the restaurant CHEF and FOH waiters and waitresses were just great they supported our evening and great communication. with all. Highly recommend staying and eating at this place. Will definitely be back. Only downer was there was a complaint about one of rooms being noisey but they handled that somewhat well.
N.Nice motel. It is a little far from town but that may be exactly what you are after. Not a problem if you have a car. The heated outdoor pool is great for the kids. It could do with a refresh as bits are looking tired.

a.Had a fantastic week at the lodge and can not praise highly enough the great, friendly service we received here. The couple went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The room and everything we needed and we particularly appreciated the abundance of towels. When using plunge pools, swimming pools and showering one towel just wont cut it. here at the Lodge the towels are in regular supply making life very comfortable.

Lots of help and advice given with regard to things to do in the area, places to eat and where to shop.
We had worried about security reading about a theft in a previous review but it was explained to us the importance of locking the sliding doors from and rear when vacating for any length of time. The theft took place because the occupant did not lock the rear door to the plunge pool. Opportunist crime can happen anywhere but if you take all the sensible precautions as most of us do whilst travelling to minimise the risk, you an enjoy your holiday to the full.
The location of the hotel is perfect, Te Puia within walking distance as is the town. Lots to do in the area, we could have done with another few days to relax before heading off to our next destination in Taupo.
Washing machine and dryer are available pay at reception.
Lovely pool to relax by, we often had this all to ourselves. Weekend are busier so plan your trip accordingly, would advise booking ahead.
s.this place was excellent. got a room for cheap. n it was. very nice n clean n tidy. the outside pool was beautiful. n the gardens were nicely maintain. the staff are brilliant. than yous for the stay.

S.Always our favourite place for staying in Rotorua and standards haven't slipped over the years. All the amenities you need in a motel, quiet units away from the road and, of course, an outside (but under cover) spa pool in every unit. Also high on my list of criteria, you don't have to sleep in the same room you eat in and watch TV in.
N.Very good customer service, lots of happy cheerful staff and a nice place to stay. Only downfall was no sky satalite tv and spa pool not warm enough because of covid 19

J.We have been staying at Wylie Court for many years as it has great facilities. Candace is efficient and approachable, the same cannot be said for Tony he is unfriendly, uninterested and unapproachable. What he is doing in the hospitality business I dont know because he very clearly isn't keen on dealing with people, he needs to change his attitude entirely or better still get out so no one has to put up with his terrible attitude.

We got here early evening so we could have a meal and was told restaurant was closed and has been for awhile.

Independent Jacuzzi can be used until 21:30 to avoid disturbing the neighbors. Parking space in front of the apartment. Check in from 2.30 pm but done at 2.00 pm because ours is ready. Check out at 10 am: "Take your time".
