G.The manager Ravi was very helpful and exceptional at his job. The cleaning staff must also be well managed because my room was spotless.
R.We were upgraded to 2 bedrooms from a studio at no extra cost. Probably built in the 1970s but very clean and tidy Central location with no road noise to. Good value.
Unfortunately, the shower pressure was much lesser than what is expected. A trickle and not warm enough.
C.We made a mistake, booked the wrong week, our fault, but very disappointed they couldn't, even help us at all in finding other accommodation. After a harrowing day, we drove home again 2 1/2 hrs away. Couldn't, even cancel booking we had to do it at home. Being people friendly & obliging is one of the main things in accommodation business, certainly wouldn't be recommending this Motel.
S.Not the flashest motel, but, our room was very spacious, the place had a very relaxed vibe about it. Nice play area for the kids and the lady who served us was really lovely. I would definitely stay here again, the price per night was extremely reasonable.
L.Clean and comfortable, if old-fashioned rooms. We could hear people talking in the studio we shared a wall with, but it was quiet at night. It's a convenient location close to a shopping centre with supermarket, pharmacy.
S.Budget motel that is perfect for a short visit. Clean and tidy spacious rooms. Indoor heated pool was perfect temperature, if not a little tired.
P.This motel we found to be very relaxing clean and private great for big families we were situated right next to the laundry which was great as we came up to Hamilton for our Targa Rally Motorsports and ended in Tauranga due to unforseen circumstances we were here in Tauranga 2 nights the first night we stayed at another motel which was slightly more expensive really lovely but not very accommodating in the way of noise levels meaning we were talking around the table having dinner and the manager told us to keep the noise levels down we were not talking loud we were talking how we normally do at home while having dinner!!..
So privacy at 18th Ave Thermal Motel is optimum..
We arrived 12:30 pm were shown to our room very happy with what we got and we're able to settle in straightaway which we were grateful for..

G.spacious motel a bit out of town but still central to most places via car. dated motel that really needs upgrading but everything was clean and worked. Unit was spacious and bed was firm and supportive.
J.I was very happy with my unit .the linen was very nice ,the cleaning was as good as it could be in an older unit .The grounds were great .the staff friendly and helpful.The thermal pool was a delightful bonus.The parking was plentiful .I would like to have given 4.5 .I took the .5 off for the funny configuration of the roading system which is no fault of the motel but made it very confusing to out of towners .the traffic throughout Tauranga is horrendous and this little deviation on 18 th Avenue is irratating .I was visiting someone in the local hospital and preferred to walk .Recommend .
G.Stayed here for a weekend with my sons, nice thermal pool, great location and reasonable rate. Laundry was not good, rooms quite basic.
