N.Been staying here quite a but over the past few months- every few weeks - John and Tui are great, they are very helpful. the rooms are always clean, tidy and well maintained. Great for business or pleasure. the location is in the middle of town - which is quiet - and only 2 min from shops and restaurants. Great.

Spacious unit with comfy bed, inviting looking spa/jacuzzi bath tub which I did not try. Great you can charge back meals to it or get deliveries. Rental bikes are available, too, and on request they can securely store your own bikes.

T.My wife and I stayed in a studio unit at Harbour City Motor Inn Tauranga for 3 nights in February 2020. The studio unit is very spacious and more than adequate for a couple. The location is very central and within walking distance to the shops, pubs, restaurants, waterfront etc. The facilities provided, in my opinion, are excellent and there was nothing further that we would have required. It has a very well equipped kitchenette (cooking hobs, microwave, toaster etc) a HD 43 inch TV with most sky channels including most sport and movie channels. The double bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and well laid out and the spa bath was most welcome. Tui and John are excellent and friendly hosts who are very accommodating, thoughtful and helpful. In my opinion this was value for money and we will stay there again without any hesitation should we visit Tauranga in the future. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Tui and John.

S.Service was great, we were asked plenty of questions on arrival and the host even did some printing for us. Rooms were tidy and spacious. Location was excellent (very close to cafes/lake), however the positives end here. Despite booking several days in advance, on arrival we were placed in a room different to what we had ordered. This was only clarified once I returned to the reception and queried this at which point we were told that the room we had ordered had filled up, and the hotel automatically assigns you to different rooms. It was a little strange having one double bed, and one single bed in one room for only two people. One of the selling points of this hotel was the pictures of the large spa bath, however on arrival we were greeted with what could only be considered an ordinary sized, if not slightly small, standard bathtub. Was very disappointing.

S.Love staying here, it's a treat for hubby and me to get away for a night. The rooms are always clean, we can walk to any of the cafes or restaurants, they are only a couple of minutes walk down the street. Staff are friendly and unobtrusive and I love the big spa baths that are in all of the rooms. Would highly recommend it to anyone going to stay in Tauranga.

K.With the ever growing popularity of Tauranga and its available facilities for the young and old, Harbour City is centrally located for entertaining, dining and festivities. You can leave your car to get to the various Art Gallery, Festivals, Movies, Shopping Arcades, Mini Supermarkets. There is a playground by the Waterfront for children of all ages or you could enjoy a picnic for the day and watch water activies that are scheduled for the day.
Best of all Harbour City Motel is not only centrally located but it has proven to have a very high standard of service with immaculate rooms to stay in. The staff are very polite and always look out for your comfort,. They cater for your needs where applicable and nothing is too difficult!
For those with adventure in mind, you can hire a bike and enjoy the scenic trails of Tauranga. Catch a bus directly opposite the motel and away you go to places beyond. No car-park worries, no traffic hassles and travel the distance relaxing and enjoying the views of Bay of Plenty. You return home to your motel feeling great after a day's outing to a comfortable, clean environment and a spa to relax to complete your day.

R.(Translated) Four stars are right. The size of the room is great as well as the kindness of the reception. There is a restaurant in the surrounding area, but of course it is not noisy. It can be expensive for travelers, but recommended if you are a casual traveler. The cleanliness can not be faulty. If you come back to Tauranga, you are willing to go back to this place.

4성급이 맞다. 리셉션의 친절함은 물론이거니와 방 사이즈도 크다. 주변에 식당가가있지만 물론 시끄럽지않다. 여행객들에게 비쌀수있으나 하루라도 푹쉬는 여행자라면 추천. 청결 부분도 흠 잡을 수 없다. 타우랑가에 쉬러온다면 이 곳을 다시 찾을 의향이 강하다.
