S.Spoke with Craig clarified that I didn’t just rate the whole survey one star it was only the after service of my belongings that was left behind. The room and the location was fantastic. Not sure why he was not able to see that….
Please do know that I wouldn’t expect anyone to rummage through rubbish. It’s a shame what happened. I shall leave it at that.
Regarding if I will return back will be something to reconsider.
D.Well located hotel right in the heart of Tauranga City Centre on Devonport Road, only five minutes walk from the eateries on The Strand. Super friendly and very helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and well-appointed with cooking facilities. Free wifi. But don’t forget your room key as you will need it to get back in after reception closes at 7pm. Highly recommended as a place to stay.

A.The Quest Tauranga Central is ideally situated in the heart of Tauranga. The rooms are very modern and exceptionally clean. Furthermore, the rooms are immensely spacious and well appointed with all the facilities required to make this a home away from home. Moreover, the staff are exceedingly helpful and always welcome any guests with a smile.
The 1 star reviews are obviously not from genuine guests and have been the result of an incident that has not occurred on these premises, resulting in a false and unfair star rating.
Given the fantastic staff and and cleanliness of this hotel, I would have no reservation in highly recommending this hotel to any type of traveller.

M.There were a whole bunch of us that stayed. The Quest Tauranga Central was a great location for us as it was close to where we were working. The rooms were absolutely spotless and had everything I needed, including elements, fridge, plenty of towels and even complimentary washing powder for the washing machine! And dryer!
I will definitely stay again when in Tauranga central.
E.This hotel provides you with everything travellers need. Facilities are new and good. The bed , water pressure and hair drier were especially outstanding. We could enjoy partial front ocean view which wasn't expected. Staffs are kind and professional. My kid lost her cell phone which was then dropped at hotel by some gentleman, and the concierge sent it back to my address safely right away. Thank you very much!!
K.Helpful staff gave some great suggestions for breakfast. Great central location, walking distance to food/kai, bars, restaurants, cafés. Easy walk to the waterfront and do a little shopping on the way. Rooms and apartments/studio are exceptionally clean and tidy, fitted with all amenities that you need for your stay. There is parking under the building (pay for the space).
I recommend the Quest for families, corporate, couples, anyone who wants quality accommodation in a central location.
c.Awesome location 2 mins to Starbucks for your coffee fix, awesome receptionist very helpful and pleasant banter rooms were clean and tidy. Definitely recommend and will be back
A.What makes a good place is the room and service to me, what makes an outstanding place is the management response to when something goes wrong! Service on arrival was outstanding, room outstanding, management response from Craig from a minor technical issue - outstanding! E.I have stayed at this Quest several times and have had a positive experiences everytime, my room is always exceptionally clean as is the foyer and the hallways, the staff are always friendly and helpful and always go the extra mile to make our stay wonderful, we use this hotel as our base when we are visiting family and exploring the wonderful sites of Tauranga.

In comparison to some of the other places the amenties are by far the best. Its walking distance to all the local restaurants and the waterfront. Id definitely stay here again.
Ps .. i really wanted to pack your pillows in my bag lol soooo comfy.
M.For those posting about the recent incident that involved a 13yo girl and the receptionist, this isn’t the Quest Hotel that the post refers to. There are two in Tauranga and the post refers to Quest on Durham. I don’t work for any of the hotels but I do support doing proper research and supporting organisations that are unfairly targeted.

L.Lovely, new facilities with all you could need on a road trip. Washing machine and tumble drier, dishwasher, stove top, fridge. USB ports for chargers. More expensive than Palmerston North for exactly the same. If it wasn't for the price could've stayed longer.

제가 다녀본 호텔 중에 가격대비 최고 입니다. 어떻게 호텔에 세탁기와 건조기를 둘 생각을 했을까요~. 작지만 있을건 다 있고 깨끗하고, 직원들도 아주 친절하고요. 여행객들에게는 베스트 호텔이네요. ^^
