H.Alan has been doing the annual inspection/sweep of our Kent Wood Fire in Petone for 15 consecutive years - since it was installed in 2005. He is punctual, efficient, gives great advice & is excellent value for money. Two years ago he sourced & replaced our 'aging' chimney door. Ask him any wood-related question & I guarantee he'll have a great tip. Highly recommend.

K.I had Alan who came in to clean, check and repair my fireplace. He was very professional with his work and such a friendly gentleman. He patiently explained everything including how to light a wooden fireplace, the type of wood to buy etc (am a newbie). More than anything else, he was very quick with his work; getting it checked and sorting out any issues with the fireplace. He had to clean out some of the ash (I hadn't done a thorough job of it). His charges were very cost effective and his services, a value for money. I cannot think of anything negative that I can say. There was some friendly banter after he finished his work! I will be using his services again and I recommend you do too.
