Our stay has been excellent. Breakfast was yummy. The rooms were immaculate and well stocked. And they even have a clothes horse which I always think it's a shame places don't have these for wet togs etc. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The reception staff were chatty. I hate the hill you have to walk up to get from the township but it really is worth it and it's such a quick walk down to the town it's not a biggie. Hubby was happy cos there were two beds in the room so he got a break of sleeping next to his wriggly wife.

Cleanliness good. Room was also good. Staff was friendly. I think breakfast options were kind of unhelpful under covid criteria. Parking was included in the cost which is definitely good thing. Very close to Queenstown CBD. I would certainly recommend. Good value for money with good views.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Room was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful big big shout out to Natalie at the front desk who went out of her way to make sure we could park our car nice and close. Scenic suites you have a real gem there. Huge huge thanks cannot recommended your hotel enough.

Room was a good size, clean, had a bath and shower and a reasonably comfortable bed. Price was competitive and the location handy for accessing town. The only negative was that my request for a packed breakfast (early flight) wasn't communicated to the kitchen staff despite notifying reception twice.

The first room had a non functioning toilet. Things seemed a bit tired. In the second room whilst everything worked, once again it was tired and in need of a make over. Not helped by the lack lustre cleaning. (Both rooms). I don't know if you're auditing your cleaning but if not you should. The dirty walls stood out. If I was a tourist it would be disappointing.

Great, stayed overnight, very good customer service. They organised a shuttle to the airport. The breakfast was complementary and very good too! Just the shower drain needed cleaning, it was manky.

Reception staff were super lovely and helpful. Bedroom was clean, comfortable and conveniently close to town. Free breakfast was also a bonus! Will def stay here again :)

We had a lovely stay during Waitangi Weekend. Room was spotless and hotel staff were extremely accomodating. Best views looking out towards the lake. Can’t wait to come back for another holiday break soon.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They facilitated an early check in, and let me leave my car in their garage after I had checked out, until I left for the airport. The room was great and staff were really helpful and friendly. I can really recommend this as a place to stay.

I went to Queenstown for a break and staying at Scenic suites was great. My apartment was huge, had a huge bed, awesome bathroom with shower and a bath!!! Handy to walk into the township close to everything. Staff are friendly and helpful

Amazing place and location, staff were super friendly and accommodating! we arrived early due to flights and had arranged for a tour scheduled for before check-in. There was no issue and no extra costs to check us in early so we could ditch our luggage and head out for the day.

We recently spent a few days in Queenstown staying at Scenic Suites. We had a one bedroom apartment with a lakeview. The apartment was a good size and very clean. There is a good breakfast served in the restaurant and we also had both a dinner and room service while we were there. All the food we had was delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Honestly, one of the best places I have stayed at. The staff are super attentive, helpful as absolutely on the ball with everything. Special shout out to Natalie and Steph. Highly recommend the the venue. My only comment is that the wifi speed around 10m, something easily can be fixed but otherwise 10/10.

Scenic Suites Queenstown is a great place to stay. So close to the city centre, clean rooms, great veiws, amazing cooked breakfasts and helpful staff.

Not only an amazing priced room with a great view in the earnslaw wing, everything in the room was great quality from the seating, bed, tea and coffee, and bathroom which had a shower and a bath (love that)! The staff were absolutely amazing, so kind and helpful and nothing was an issue. My room was already a great price but not only that, they left a nice chocolate in my room for me, included buffet breakfast (wasn’t buffet due to Covid restrictions at the moment but was still nice) and also a voucher for a drink from their restaurant. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others.

Great to be back at the Scenic Suites. Awesome location being walking distance to town. Showing a little sign of wear but still in very good condition. Nice to have a kitchen to save from eating out is why we love it. We were in a Remarkable’s suite and nice to have the mountain view to watch the snow flurries. Thanks again Scenic hotels.

This was an awesome place to stay at. Loved the location, room was massive and cozy. Room had an umbrella inside the closet which I’d used for our Milford Sound trip. They have a space for a game of chess and computer access that my kid’s enjoyed. Stephanie at reception was amazing. And the dinner menu & breakfast buffet was delicious, full of goodness. Highly recommend to stay here. Will be back for sure!

Great beds! And nice tidy clean rooms. Good location. Friendly staff. We had a room that constantly had noise because of piping or pumping noise outside which was a let down, so I would check to bot book into this specific room. Other then that everything was perfect. The buffet breakfast was great. Had lots of variety and the staff were accomodating to allergies etc. I would book again and highly recommend !

We stayed here for 10 days and what an amazing spot! Perfect to walk to town for a bite to eat. Large clean rooms and a coz fire to greet you each morning and evening in reception. We will definitely be back

Such a lovely stay! Hotel is in a great location and very clean. They upgraded me to the apartment what was very nice of them.

I was unlucky in being stuck in Queenstown during a 3 week nationwide lockdown due to Covid, however I was lucky enough to have been stuck at Scenic Suites. I was very lucky to be in a one bedroom suite was a life saver, plenty of room, great facilities in the room with kitchen, washer dryer, couch and big TV, good internet to conduct all my work calls, it had everything I need. The biggest life saver was the view, amazing views of the Remarkables, the lake and across to Cecil Peak, these views helped to keep me sane whilst in lockdown. I think the other amazing part of my stay was the service that we received from the team at the front desk, especially Stef, Mel & Natalie, making sure that we had everything we needed, nothing was too much of an ask and they were happy to help during a tough time in lockdown. Then as restrictions dropped to Level 2, the service went up another level, the rooms were emulate after every service. I will be back and I would recommend Scenic Suites as a place to stay in the future! Thanks again team. Ollie

We were super happy with our stay. The first room we were offered was not suitable, unfortunately i think someone had smoked in the room and also there was access out on to a patio with no fencing etc. This was not suitable for our family. We mentioned this to the reception. They promptly swapped our room for an amazing room. It had sensational views, clean, tidy and very big. The staff were super accommodating. Breakfast was ideal and easy. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you very much Scenic Suites for making our holiday accommodation an amazing experience.

We spent all day looking for affordable accommodation as many others had increased their prices for Easter . Scenic Suites Queenstown was very reasonable. Rooms were quite, clean and had all we needed. Staff super friendly went downstairs had a lovely seafood chowder and pizza with a glass of wine. Did not feel like walking to busy Queenstown. Highly recommend would come back.

Scenic Suites Queenstown is a great place to stay. Free quest Laundry which was great as we stayed for 6 nights so nice to be able to clean our clothes before heading to our next destination. The only thing I would suggest is that the breakfast buffet change daily. As we prepaid our daily breakfasts and because it was the same it became not so nice if you weren't into cereal. Apart from that it was very nice and would be back.

Ordered a 7.30am breakfast but was over 15mins late..okay but needed to get away early..stayed here lots of times but rooms could do with a spruce up ..outdoor chairs were wet and dirty...time to replace??

We booked last minute and we’re quite shocked that it cost $400 extra for a view! We took the no view room it was so quiet and peaceful lovely outdoor patio (which chairs were covered in cobwebs and cigarette ash) but never the less nice and peaceful didn’t hear road traffic and people. All the staff were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to deal with the breakfast was amazing! We will definitely be staying here again view or no view!

Lovely apartment with everything we needed provided for our stay. Location great - easy walk to town, and not too difficult for two oldies uphill coming back. Minor issue at start quickly attended to. Staff great and obliging.

Generally, it is a quite clean, compact, and interesting hotel. Good value for what you pay. Location is good, less than 10 minutes stroll to the town centre. Breakfast is OK for the money. Friendly staff. Thanks for allocating me a room with a little lake view:-) I would give it 4.5 stars, but honestly, it does have imperfect aspect. Very complicated buildings, easy to get lost. Corridor smells because of the new paint. Breakfast is the same every day for the 4 days we stayed.

Great location, very good stay except for an intermittent low frequency noise. Great full breakfast. Unit was warm and clean. It's always a bonus to have a good carpark.

Me and my cousin stayed here for one night. Hotel had free parking and excellent WiFi. We had a room with two large beds, nice bathroom and a balcony with a lakeview. Room was tidy and well appointment. The only thing i did not like was that it had a little foyer area that it shared with another room, possibly to do with the interconnecting rooms for large groups the hotel offers. Our neighbors were in and out all night and were rather noisy. Would definitely stay again.

Really happy with our stay! So much space in the 1 bedroom apartment. Bed was comfy, bathroom was great and right in the centre of town, easy walk to dinner and a drink. Breakfast (at the time we booked included in the price of the room) was good and coffee was excellent. Service was great, explained everything really clearly and extended our check out by an hour as breakfast service was running a little late. Town was quiet, but if it was peak season mid summer the ground floor room could well be noisy.

Highly recommend the hotel. Excellent place and very central. Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Will be staying again next time in Queenstown.

Amazing hotel from Location to rooms to service. Perfectly located just a few minutes walk from the city center. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment. The rooms were large, very comfy beds and pillar, spot on cleanliness and the deck had spectacular view. You can go wrong. Breakfast is great as well. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed at three different places during our holiday. We were here on our last night and wish we had stayed here on the first. We would have canceled the rest and only stayed here. We had a 1bedroom suite with lake view. It was so spacious and comfortable. The view was stunning!! This was the only place we stayed with a washing machine and dryer in the room. The kitchen has everything you needed. The bedroom and bathroom were large. There was a small balcony that was lovely sit on with a wine and watch the sunset

Wonderful location with Queenstown on your doorstep and lovely views of the surrounding mountains. Very comfortable and warm with bathrobes and slippers that make you feel at home. Beds are perfectly made with crisp sheets for a good night sleep. Love sitting on the balcony enjoying a drink and nibbles in the sun with friends.

Wifi worked well. 10 mins walk to town. Was a wee bit dated for the price of $300+ per night. The heat pump didn't really heat the room well enough, and the wall heater didn't work. The buffet breakfast was ok in the finish - but took a few conversations with staff. No immediate catering for celiacs, despite clearly stated in booking. Had to find staff ask for gluten free toast and cereal. No real hot food breakfast for coeliacs, was told on 2 seperate days that I could help myself to the cooked bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms on the buffet but nothing else was gluten free. Didn't seem to understand that cross contamination occurs from other diners at the buffet - and no thanks I wasn't going to get ill by taking any chances, even though I'd paid for breakfast. No offer to make something. Dissapointing that a hotel of this calibre didn't seem to know how to cater without fuss for celiacs. External stairs and outside landings to access rooms, no hotel parking as parking filled up - hard to get baggage to rooms. Would I stay there again for the money - no.

The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast, a combination of cereals, fruit, juice, pastries and various hot foods. Yum!!! Lovely visit.

Our stay in Scenic Suites Queenstown was a pleasurable one. The suite was very clean and tidy . Lots of varieties in the free breakfast and served the tastes of different cuisines. Ideal for a family within the budget !! Would highly recommend for any family travelling to Queenstown!!

We have stayed for last 4 nites and on last one currently. As a family of 5 its hard to find suitable accommodation, this place suited us perfectly. Walking distance to town, the rooms nice, big, clean, washer and dryer, full cooking facilities, as its 2 rooms together it means 2 bathrooms, beautiful view of mountain and lake, breakfast although wasnt buffet still good, staff friendly. We will be back !

we enjoyed our stay - room very comfortable and well serviced. The only thing that spoilt it for us was the smell of cigarette smoke which we mentioned to staff. would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was really lovely.

Great stay. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Apartment was large, clean, warm and well set up. Even though we didn't have a room with a "view", we could still see Ben Lomond and the gondola from our bedroom. Will definitely be back.

Purposeful and functional rooms with great views. The food was superb and the staff cant do enough for you. Very well priced throughout. A very short walk to the lake which means no parking hassle either. I will be back for sure.

We stayed at the hotel in Queenstown. The hotel was within walking distance the the main streets of Queenstown (going back was a walk up quite a hill). The staff were all really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well equipped. It was a little bit tricky to find ou room when we first arrived, and the bed lamp on the headboard of the bed was terrible, very easy to hit your head on, which we did several times.

Fantastic hotel. We went to Queenstown to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday the hotel let a card and a wee treat for us when we went to the room. Check in and out easy as!! Staff were wonderful friendly and helpful. Hotel room was clean and large. Was cleaned everyday. Restaurant in hotel was great food was delicious. Packages included breakfast and on the day we checked out we didnt want breakfast before traveling on the bus so they packed us a lunch box with a drink.

Although this is marketed as a 4 star hotel, it is definitely not. Well it might be if you get one of the 6 top floor rooms, but unfortunately we got the ground level dark and dingy rooms at 4 star hotel prices. We booked a 2 bedroom 'suite', which ended up actually being 2 interconnected type hotel rooms, which had a foyer in between, hardly a 'suite', and the first room we got assigned was literally at street level, where anyone from the street could have accessed our balcony area and door, we managed to switch to another room, but it was still sub standard. One of the rooms had a sink that didn't drain properly, and the wall heater didn't work. Parking is first come first served and nowhere near enough for the amount of rooms there are. The layout of the place is like a maze, and there is no cover from the rooms to the reception area. I wouldn't stay here again, and wouldn't recommend to friends.

Spent 2 nights there. Big hotel, i didnt realise it was so big until i got there. Staff are helpful...rooms are clean... reasonable prices. Breakfast consists in a buffet which is good (not great but good enough). Had a meal there one night and it was good (but again, it wasnt great)..

Found the place easy enough. Thought wasn't much for the price we paid but convenience and location was spot on. Finding the room was like a rabbit warren. Breakfast was pretty poor! Powdered Eggs!! Had dinner in the 2nd night and couldn't fault my Burger it was beautiful so recommend that. Husbands meal was another story his Lamb and roast vegetables were old food microwaved (disgusting)!! People in the next room had outside visitors so were woken by the music and loud people and kept awake until 3am. To the silly woman telling us to 'SHUT-UP' you must of been blonde co's you were making the noise!! So my overall impression was for the price we paid, we weren't impressed!

Our room was nice, Didnt apreciate getting woken up early by the house cleaning next door, absoulty smashing stuff and not just your normal banging around, Then at 10.20am reception phoned to remind us 10am was check out, alittle rude.

These units are in an excellent location, great views and just a short walk down into town. The one bedroom suite has a really well equipped kitchen and everything you need to self cater. We had the top floor which was magic for the views in all directions. We loved the glass walls to the dining area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Lovely clean place, as described in the description. Unfortunately there was a constant vibration and noise throughout the entire place overnight. Made for an awful nights sleep - perhaps just drilling in the area or road works? We left early morning after what seemed a sleepless night. Would not stay here again.

Really really great room, everything you needed, view was fantasic, heating was fantastic, 5 minute walk to town, reception staff was friendly and helpful.The only letdown was: The breakfast was really dissapointing, we had to clear our own tables, had to wait 35 minutes for a big breakfast where everything but the hashbrowns were cold. They had four staff on which should be sufficient for a restaurant that smal but they weren't able to work efficiently. The room was absolutely amazing though, no fault there.

They have everything you want. Elevators need a lil upgrade. Everyone is welcoming. Smiles are great. You can oversee the view pass the trees. Great for families. Very close to everything you can possibly dream off. Ferg bakery and burger are Always open after a good night. Apart from that there was a guy on the skateboard who came down the road from his left of the roundabout. It was too late cos he came at full pace. Hitting into our front Bonnet. He had no safety gear on, he didn’t have a reflector whatsoever. He blamed us and convinced us to pay for his $500 skateboard. Apart from that we had a splendid time.

Our 1-bed apartment was a good size and comfortable. The kitchen was a decent size so you can easily dine-in if you wanted. TV only had a few channels, couch was comfortable, bed was firm, glassware was plentiful, overall it was a great stay. Word of caution - Scenic Suites is at the top of a hill, so if you are without a car you'll get a workout too.

Part of the reason We chose here was because they had a buffet breakfast. Due to covid the buffet wasnt available and we could only choose 1 thing from the menu. $27 for waffles was absurd. And because we prepaid i wasnt able to cancel breakfast for the 2nd morning. The room was warm and comfortable but needed maintenance. Toilet seat was loose. A large crack in the hand basin. Shower had good pressure but a cheap shower head and inconsistent water temperature. Nice view from the balcony but unlikely to stay there again.

The Scenic Queenstown was so accommodating. From setting up the portacot for our wee one, to delivering breakfast in our room! The one bed apartment was perfect for us travelling with baby, allowed us to put him down in a seperate space before we went to bed. The kitchen facilities were fine for what we needed. And we loved the big window and view over Queenstown. Will definitely stay again, thank you!

I honestly loved it here. I was in Queenstown during some long-term traveling and decided to splurge on a night here. Completely worth it. Gorgeous scenery from every window-- I just watched the outdoors instead of bothering with the television. Very comfortable apartment. Has everything you need. Relaxing bath. Delicious breakfast with room service. Only wish I was able to stay longer. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Queenstown New Zealand. The rooms here are large very clean and very well maintained and some of the rooms have great views over the lake and town. We have stayed at Scenic Suites twice and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. There is a car park, laundry facilities and a small bar with snacks plus a very nice on site restaurant where the food was exceptional. The staff were all helpful and very friendly, willing to do all they could to ensure you had a great stay. A really fabulous place to stay.

Stayed one night and the room was spacious, and warm. The view of mountains was awesome and we had free car park and breakfast included. Definitely good value for money.

Lovely ambience. Very spacious. Loved the washer dryers. Front desk were helpful and efficient. A new hotel is being built across the street. I don't know what it will do to your view. The climb uphill to get back to the hotel was a bit exhausting but Queenstown is hilly everywhere.

I upgraded to a lake view and didnt regret it for a second , super friendly staff . And a great breakfast . And it was noticeably clean and consistently being cleaned . 100 meters to the top of town . Loved it . Go level 2 or 3 . Thanks for a great holiday .

The name is accurate. We had great views of the city, lake, and mountains from our balcony. The hotel had a modern aesthetic, and the staff was very thoughtful. They left a bad of toiletries on our door when we left a "do not disturb" sign up while out sightseeing. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and the location is very close to the town center.

Fantastic staff, very accommodating and took care of us after an incident that happened! Great breakfast and very comfortable room. Will be back!

We experienced the best time while visiting Queenstown. The apartment was large and roomy, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and a kitchen with everything! The views were amazing and the location was a 2 min walk to the middle of the town. Lovely, and helpful staff ... we just couldn't fault it! Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay, it was a really nice experience. loved the kitchen and sitting room and closeness to town, didn't need to drive., just walk. It was great having a car park though. It was really comfortable. I loved it and would recommend to my friends and would stay there again.

Scenic suites completely exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful, super clean and the view was spectacular. It was our honeymoon and Riley at reception made sure we felt special on our stay. On our arrival we found a lovely card and some chocolate in the room which was such a generous touch. The house keeping staff were all extremely friendly and did an incredible job of looking after our room. Everything was immaculate. The location is a short 3/5 minute stroll to the centre of town. This was a perfect holiday. Thanks.

Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Rooms have plenty of space. The chef in the restaurant is exceptional - enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.

We received a warm welcome and a room was provided for us soon after our early arrival which we appreciated as we had an early morning flight and were a bit tired. The room service was disappointing - there was a half consumed bottle of water in the fridge from previous guests and we had no room service the second day, but the person came back later to give us clean towels. We ran out of tea and detergent by the third day. We contacted reception on the first night to inform them that we could not get the subtitles to work on the TV . We were told someone would come down and no-one did. This issue was not resolved for the whole time we were there (4 nights). We informed reception of the issue of subtitles again on the third day and also of three maintenance issues in the room - fridge door not closing properly, toilet seat loose and front right element of cooktop not turning off. A maintenance person came straight away to fix these things which we appreciated, but three maintenance issues are not what we expected of a 4 star hotel. We were disturbed at night by noisy neighbours in the apartment next door at night and people in the other adjoining apartment smoking in the courtyard during the day. There was also noise from the building site across the road. The information folder had stained pages from a previous guest but provided interesting information about the Scenic Hotels chain. The location of the hotel is excellent with bus stops nearby. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed 5 nights here with our toddler and we have only good things to say. Very clean, good choice & good quality of complimentary hot drinks and toileteries. Beautiful breakfasts. We had dinner once here too, burger was amazing, generous portions and good quality food. Staff been friendly and helpful. The hallways/walkways tot he rooms, decor isn't much to comment on, very simple. Bed and furniture was completely comfortable. Would book here in a heartbeat again. Also the location is great, you can walk to the waterfront in less than 10m. Has a decent view too.

The space was wonderful to have, as was laundry facilities - despite dryer filter that had not been cleaned for a while. As well, don't drop anything in-between the sofa cushions... But the bed was comfortable, the breakfasts had good variety that was tasty, and staff were friendly.

The staff are amazing & very very helpful. Location wise “great”! However, the entrance is tricky & calories burner “lucky you if you get there without damaged luggage”. We haven’t had any nice view though. Was cheap in providing shampoo etc.

Good location. Rooms are clean and furnished very well. Not all rooms have good views but you can guarantee a great view by paying premium. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with kitchen and cooked our on breakfast.

Big place - rather impersonal - but the rooms and facilities are exactly what you need for a stress free stay in QTown.Spacious and clean with good kitchen facilities.On site parking is limited but lots of street parking. TV and bathroom could do with an update but serviceable. Quite a bit of road noise from the main road but you get used to it - ask for a unit at a higher level.

Good hotel, good breakfast. We stayed in a 1 br suite on 3rd floor - spacious with lots of nice amenities including washer and dryer. Right on the main road out of town, though, so LOTS of road noise first thing in the morning when all of Queenstown heads out to Milford Sound and other points west.

The room WIFI was first class better than some 5-star hotel I have stayed. The service at the reception was exceptional. Thanks Scenic Suites.

Great location as well as great amenities: With a full kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, fridge) and washer & dryer, this hotel was perfect for the middle of our trip to catch up on laundry and do some light cooking. It was a short 5 minute walk from town center, so we were never far from the action. Overall fantastic stay.

Nice views and location. Busy street but quiet at night. Breakfast option is hearty and healthy (if you don't gorge down too many sausages and croissants. Staff well informed and organized. Self serve laundry is at bit expensive, but it's been a while since I've been on a trip where I couldn't just take it home or turn it inside out.

A few teething problems checking in; we'd sent two emails previously to ask about a late check out and hadn't heard anything. Manager was supposed to get back to us to discuss and still heard nothing. Also asked to pay for our accomm when we had paid in full weeks before. This did not sour our stay at all, just wanted to mention this. The one bedroom apartment is amazing. They have thought of everything you'd need. Full kitchen with every amenity you could think of including espresso pod. Washing machine and dryer. Balcony with table and chairs. Room was closer to Melbourne St behind Stanley St so quiet as a mouse from traffic. Separate bedroom with king sized bed (needs the mattress flipped for better comfort), different pillows would be better than just four fat pillows; did find a slimmer one in the cupboard though. Aircon is fabulous (quiet and works very well); there are two aircon compressors in the roof outside behind the bed which meant there was some droning noise but I’m sensitive to noise; partner wasn’t phased at all. Heating in bedroom and loungeroom are like the ones in ski resorts and very good. Also happy that the bathroom which has a bath yay! has a heater you can turn on and keep the room nice and toasty. Also a heated towel rack as well. There's a restaurant on site which is fabulous (also eat in your room) as the apartments are on the hill of Stanley Street coming into Queenstown and requires walking back up hill if you walk into town. It is 5 mins walk to town, very close to everything. There are a couple of ways to walk into town and best thing also is its right on the bus line from the airport ($2 per person with a GoCard that you can get from the airport). So leaving we got the bus again back to the airport (cab costs around $40-50). Would I stay again? A big yes. One of the best places I've stayed and the price was just right. Position is perfect, though if I could, I'd love to put it down the hill just as I'm a little lazy but after a day or two of walking that hill, it wasn't a problem at all and we could get the bus if we needed.

Spent 4 nights in the run up to Christmas'19. Great location...about 200/300metres from the town centre, pier, restaurants & shopping. Just a short walk. Large spacious rooms with a washer & dryer and tea coffee maker. Free parking. Booked online & was given a street facing room on the ground floor. Dark & dingy is how I would describe it. And not to mention noisy as the hotel is on a main road. We requested to Upgrade to a lake facing room and did so .... on the 3rd floor by paying an additional NZD 60 per night for the next 3 nights. Much much better. Most staff were smiling and pleasant. Special mention for Estafini, Henrique and the duty manager (lady I forget her name). Sleep quality was just ok....I think mattresses could do with changing and housekeeping could also improve.

The rooms are spacious, hotel staff are nice and helpful, not far from city centre but our room was facing a big construction site. Most days the construction noise would start at 7am and some night finished at 10pm. It will probably get better when contraction is finished but I wouldn't recommend at the moment and probably for the next year ( until the end of construction).

Stayed for a night in one of the Earnslaw rooms and it was very pleasant. It was a spacious room with 2 double beds and a view to the lake. The bathroom was clean with a bath and a shower. I like that they have both heater plus a heat plumb in the room. The reception was nice and efficient. It comes with a secured carpark for the night. The location is superb.

Great Location with clean and tidy suites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great to have a balcony to sit out on and a separate lounge and kitchen. Handy to town and no need to take the car, we just left it in the car park under the hotel. The sleep was superb thanks to the mattress topper, bed of feathers!!! The break was just not long enough. Would recommend this to our clients and friends without hesitation, we will be back.

Lovely place about a 5 minute walk from the center of Queenstown. The hill up to it is a tough walk with snow gear but the views from their top floor apartments are great! Loads of amenities including washer/dryer, bath and shower along with a full kitchen including pod coffee machine! Had a great 4 night stay here.

Only 5mins walk from Fergburger, 7mins from Jervois Steakhouse, built on the hill side looking out to lake Wakatipu and the Remarkable hill, this hotel offers panoramic scenery and high convenience at a fantastic price. I stayed here for two nights, my room was spotless, reception was very courteous and the manager went of his way to help us be comfortable. Definitely coming back the next time I'm in Queenstown.

The Kitchen was just amazingly tasty, stuff was good, room service was good too! The only a few outdated and not practical things, from my point of view! The light above the bed, right on the headboard, I hit it 3 times during the first night! So our 4 months old boy was not really happy to hear :) Toilet paper holders - not really holding a paper roll if you pull the paper :) Toilet flushing the water like a waterfall and it us noisier than a train :) But all the other things a very good, I would come back there!

This is a great hotel to stay in. The beds were so comfy and warm and the room itself was clean and inviting. A small view out of our window up towards the Gondola was nice. We also had parking underneath the building which worked well. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Their hospitality is undoubtedly the best. I am on a 15 Day trip to NZ. Seeing my Anniversary falling during my stay at their hotel, They themselves upgraded me to Scenic room on arrival. It had was actually an apartment. Completely furnished... A fully equipped Kitchen attached to fully furnished Living room. A bedroom and a lavish washroom. All facing the Lake. Besides this they were too helpful at every beck n call. The bar was good too, they hav a huge Parking area and a FreeFast Wifi Thanks to all staff and especially Mr. Anthony

First time back for about 6yrs. Motel is getting a but dated now. On the first day house keeping didnt make up our room till 4pm when we had returned for the day. The following day they just pulled up the duvet and left the bed un-made. Average

Stayed here with my wife for 2 nights in a bright, very clean self contained suit with one bedroom and king size bed. Brilliant views over lake Wakatipu and Queenstown! There was also a small patio area with table and chairs (two) for you to relax and take in the scenery. Hotel is approximately a 5 minute walk to the centre of Queenstown. We had a delicious meal at The Hillside Brasserie, highly recommended. I should also say that the staff were extremely helpful and go to great lengths to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Great hotel and would definitely recommend this to any traveller.

Good accommodation OK breakfast. The layout and getting to rooms is not great. Parking is terrible leave the car at home and walk or taxi around.

Great location, lovely room with adjoining suite, although could be better. Room keys for one - oldskool keys?! And the showers and bathrooms felt just slightly dated. And then the occasional random jet of scalding hot water wasn't great either! Top it off with the alarm clock going off at midnight for no reason, and then the (relatively new) dishwasher making an alarm sound w which would reappear even when turned off was rather frustrating! At least the WiFi was free and unlimited - but took us a cpl days to get it working on all our devices properly after calling reception. I'd go back, but I wouldn't call it value for money - but I don't think that's possible anywhere in Queenstown!

A great hotel. Lovely location close to Queenstown CBS. As an older hotel it showed its age. Having said that it was clean, tidy and warm.

Special access button attached to the apartment key Since Queenstown parking is limited and it's chargeable, Scenic location is just about 8 mins walking distance to the central town. We saved a lot on parking and the little bit of exercise ie walk back to the hotel after a hearty meal is excellent, whereby we could burnt some fats. 2brm unit comes with 2 bathroom was really awesome, don't need to queue for toilets.

Could not have asked for a better stay. We were made so welcome. Anthony the manager went the extra mile to make us feel at home he really made our holiday. Thank you so much.

Lovely suite; could have lived there for weeks. Beautifully appointed with plenty of room. Usual caveat as with nearly all hotels, the experience can be spoilt by inconsiderate neighbours. The only 'problem' we had was one of ventilation. We always sleep with the windows open. However, this was not possible due to the noise from the busy road outside and the overall noise from the town itself. There was no other form of ventilation. Hardly the hotel's fault, but personally, I don't like sleeping in a stuffy bedroom.

This was the second time I have stayed at this Hotel and have had brilliant rooms each time and would consider it great value for money. Navigation is a bit tricky around the place and tiring if you are unfit! Showers were amazing pressure, certainly wakes you up. We will be staying here again.

Stayed five nights great room with a great view over the central city only problem is the constant traffic as faced the main road in and out of Queenstown there is no sky tv a d ot much else to watch they could do with information of restaurants around Queenstown

Fantastic hotel! Great central location makes for a quick and easy walk to town. The staff there were very kind and friendly, and went out of their way to helped me with my romantic surprise for my partner. Highly recommended, and I would gladly stay at Heartland again.

We stayed here for two nights after just one horrendous night at an Airbnb, and this was the best hotel deal available on Expedia in Queenstown last minute and I'm so glad we found this. Stayed in a one bedroom suite, which is very spacious and in the most convenient location. Service of the staff is world class, not crazily expensive and the bed was in par with Sofitel's. I was kind of sceptical when I booked as I hadn't stayed with / heard of the Scenic group before but would recommend to anyone who loves a comfortable stay (It's not the most glamorous obviously doesn't come with that exorbitant price tag)

A must stay. Huge rooms, balcony, great views. We set the do not disturb sign for our first morning and new towels and bath stuff were left outside for us.

Rooms are a bit outdated, the AC didn’t make it into the bedrooms. It is also situated on a top of a steep hill. The bar can be opened a bit later. Big rooms, signages can be improved, took a long time to get from reception to rooms

Nice spacious rooms.. but the carpark is a joke. They give out more carpark passes than there are spaces, and when its full you have a tricky, narrow reverse to negotiate. Don't stay here if you plan to use the carpark.

We have been staying at the Scenic Suites in Queenstown for the last 5 years, and we absolutely love this hotel, the room is fabulous, has everything we could want on our stay, the bed is so comfortable, the bathroom has the best power shower, and the lounge with the tv has movie channels, we love this hotel and will be back every year. Highly recommended, wouldnt stay anywhere else in Queenstown,. Thank you Scenic suites

Ansonsten hat das Haus riesige Appartements mit voller Möglichkeit zur Selbstversorgung und die unmittelbare Nähe zum Stadtzentrum von Queenstown ist ebenfalls positiv hervorzuheben. Einziger Schwachpunkt ist die extreme Auslastung mit Reisegruppen! Dafür ist dann der Frühstückssaal zu klein und die Lautstärke wird vielen nicht gefallen. Trotzdem zu empfehlen.
