Very clean and modern. Comfy chairs and FREE, TASTY hot chocolate

Clean and tidy airport. Couldn't be easier to navigate since there is only one terminal and it's not much bigger than my modestly sized house. Long term parking is paid but it's only about $20 for a long weekend.

As a minor airport the terminal has received a much needed upgrade and is now a better experience for the public, and, I suspect, the employees. Comfortable seating, complimentary hot drinks, clean toilets - a much better experience. Now that we have lower airfares to the provinces this place will get more patronage.

Car park is too small so people have to park on yellow lines or the grass. I liked the mural on the window telling the names of the mountains. Rest rooms were clean and tidy. Plenty of chairs but some don't have backs. Simple bag retrieval on the way down and easy check in for the return flight.

Lovely small airport with very friendly and helpful staff. So convenient for domestic flights when you live in the South Canterbury area. And thank you for the free coffee 😁☕

Very small regional airport. Well appointed. Machine coffee and vending machine drinks, plenty of seats and a few tables if you need to get some laptop work done while waiting for a plane.

Good small airport. But seriously needs to have a back up to its deicer. Canceling flights due to equipment failures is not a good look, especially when the next five is either a flights hours later, or a 2 hour drive to the next airport. Could also do with some Koru Club features.

This is a great wee airport, been to and from here recently on a little Air NZ plane. I always have found the staff friendly and they have a nice hot drink dispenser for the people waiting for their plane ride. There is a lot of car parks and toilets for the visitors. Its a very small airport lounge, but very nice (perfect for Timaru)! The airport is a little bit outside of Timaru in the countryside and it could be hard to find this airport if you're not use to the area, so I would advise looking at a map to find the place. Also when you are up in the plane above Canterbury on a clear day you will come across beautiful views of patchwork paddocks, lined with roads and hedges.

Roads leading to airport and signature needs upgraded. Gosh on the way back to town from the airport towards the Pleasant Point Highway the AA signs point to Levels with no sign at all showing the way to Timaru or the western suburbs. Anyone would think Levels is a large centre but on earth is Timaru or Pleasant Point for that matter. The roads were getting overgrown at the sides and the road was starting to be bumpy and in need of maintenance last time I travelled down it. The up graded terminal is a great improvement but I shudder to think of the impression left on visitors as they arrive for the first time. To me it gives the impression that I have just landed at a backwater town It must be the airport for the flying doctor service to the hinterland.
