Went to get my Aircon refilled in Ute, was told I needed to pay $75 for an analysis before going further. Had to agree but then told the cost would be about $800 to repair something I didn't know was broken. Ofcourse I wasn't prepared for this and walked away disappointed and down in pocket for $75, so not happy with this system, will not go back to this set up again.

Over all good service and they fixed the issue with my car. Explained what was wrong with my air con unit, what needed to be done to repair. Dont get me wrong, it was quite expensive $$$ on the pocket but I'm willing to pay the for clean air act adherence and protecting the planet. They're not very trusting people will pay for work they complete, obviously been stung one too many times but you need to offer more options than signing up for a finance company. The older receptionist/ Administrator needs a Kiwi Host skills course in better customer service as her manner abrupt and defensive when she perceived a challenge. Would I use them again? Probably. Good work is good work despite my other comments.

Friendly staff, easy to book in, had the faults explained clearly and the cost breakdown (was given two options for repair - minimum repair versus full), courtesy car was available and good communication around courier delays on the part ordered. Would recommend and go back in future.

Without a doubt this business is an asset to Hamilton with a very friendly and highly skilled team in all regards. I found this out first hand with a failing AC in my pride and joy that was diagnosed and quoted free of charge. After going ahead with the repairs the shop endeavoured to source parts as cheaply as possible and the installation was carried out to a level that exceeded my expectations. Thank you guys so much. If you are looking for an air conditioning company who does it right the first time, then go straight to these guys. I am very grateful for the excellent service and quality workmanship at CoolCar. Another air conditioning company quoted $2000 to change the TX valve and associated repairs. I called CoolCars just to check if it was really necessary to remove the whole dashboard to change the TX valve. Rodney from Cool car's said he doubted they had given the correct diagnosis. When I got the evaluation done at CoolCar, they found that the TX valve wasn't faulty and were able to fix it by re-gassing and changing the cabin filter for $340. The whole team were very friendly and explained things very clearly.

I got the free check, then paid for the coolant to be refilled with added UV dye to check for leaks. Was told that repairs were needed. Had checks done elsewhere, told everything ok. I left a negative review here, then Coolcar invited me back to see for myself. I went back and they showed me. Now after thorough investigation, several leaks have been found, which will soon be fixed. They are experienced technicians, with good customer service.
