A.Lovely clean room,balcony small but a view of the sea was a bonus. Staff were very helpful, as parking was tight with all music festivals, as well as cricket. Great shower powerful and hot. Had dinner in Salt Restaurant , sat outside as the night was still and warm,sea not a ripple. Had rissotto plenty of it and very tasty. Husband had steak perfectly cooked. Waitress was a delight , friendly knew her stuff boy it does make a difference, when they enjoy their work. We will be returning over the summer to explore New Plymouth more, and shall be staying at Millennium Hotel☺☺☺
A.Took the Penthouse so we could have view of the sea! We were not disappointed. However there was also a view of suffering potted plants on the terrace.
I would be disappointed if this is offered as International Hospitality level.
● No courteous phone call to room to check if there was anything needed.
● Hospitality lacking - considering the price of the 'Penthouse' suite, there was no hospitality given. On opening of the fridge to put water in, we a found price tag on bottles of water & chocolate fish on offer. Thought that this was more of an insult than a welcome.
● There was no explanation of possible tourist interests in New Plymouth.
☆ The restaurant on Floor 2 was a real boost. Impressive menu & service was impeccable.
I would think twice before booking again.
D.We've been here a couple of times, the first time was cut short because of a covid lock down and we were credited a couple of nights.
It's OK for a hotel. The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable, WiFi is fast and the TV is large. But they don't make us feel like valued guests.
Bookings are essential for dining at Salt restaurant, and they are always booked so we didn't get to dine there.
We felt it was overpriced for an average hotel. Probably won't stay here again.

Morning breakfast is too good at their Salt restaurant. Nice view of the ocean from the restaurant.
N.Now my rating, the staff was exceptional and customer focused, the parking was good, as is the location, and view... then there is the fact it's on the main through fare which as its perks. Now the not so good, single glazed glass and old window and door seals let some of the breeze in, then the noise holy heck, you can feel and hear the trucks roll on by... great location, but needs a renovation. The bed was rock hard...just saying.

T.A well kept hotel in central New Plymouth. We enjoyed our stay. We were very central to shops, great eateries, the Puke Ariki museum, the Len Lye gallery and the Wind Wand. It was easy getting a cot for a child under 10 and we had a comfortable sleep. All the basics for a hotel room and we used a voucher to eat at the restaurant, Salt, for delicious breakfast each morning.

In the morning you go down to the salt/dinner to name a few toast,French toast,eggs and a lot more food its delicious. Great place for a night gets alittle pricey for more nights but an all great place to stay. nice sea view

" Penthouse rooms" A bit pricey for what it is, west facing to sea, very hot on sunny day, aircon not working, on noisy street, very noisy with any windows open.

E.Our group were delighted with our stay at the centrally located Millennium. A special shout out to Nikita who showed exemplary customer service in the wee small hours of the morning as we endeavored to find emergency accommodation.
E.Absolutely amazing stay. Booked for a special birthday and on arrival was upgraded to a room with an amazing view of the sea. While out for a dinner at the on site restaurant "salt", a lovely note and some chocolates were awaiting me on my arrival back to the room. Wonderful staff, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

L.5 stars to the friendliness and service from all of the staff. From the reception staff, lovely welcome, the lovely friendly helpful restaurant staff to the house keeping staff you see in the hallway. Onsite Parking was great and handy to everything. The views from the restaurant stunning and lovely in sitting in the sun on the deck. Hat's, blankets , sun block, the newspaper all provided. We had a dinner and 2 breakfasts. Everything absolutely delicious. Deluxe room was great. Small view of sea. Spacious enough. Spa bath and shower. Thanks everyone. Hoping to come back to NP soon.
J.Exceptional! Outstanding, professional service and an outstanding room at a realistic rate. Very clean, tidy and a touch of luxury right by the waterfront ... I couldn't have asked for a better setting.
There aren't enough car parks for the number of rooms meaning you could miss out on a free park, so do bear that in mind. And lighting is all one side of the room, meaning one side is a little bit darker. But these are minor things, I'd still highly recommend this and would definitely return!
E.The welcoming was great, the service room was nice and smiley. The breakfast was tasty. We had a big room (clean and quiet) with a lot of space but for me, as architect, the functionality of the space is 3,7/5. (possibility to range your cloth is minimal) Yes, there is the possibility to change this with some extra investment in a low storage furniture with drawers :)
M.Awesome two night stay. Good size room. Super comfy super king bed and pillows. Staff are friendly and efficient. Great location. Look forward to staying here again soon.
E.Little disappointed for the price. Just the little things. Had just come from a really quaint accommodation place so this seems devoid of personality. Clock not working in the room. Excessive pricing of bar snacks. Bed hard. Piddly little milk sachets when a small pottle of fresh milk would have been nicer. Door key cards not working when we went to come back to Hotel after breakfast. However we did like the restaurant for breakfast. Good view & service very good.

W.Great hotel for the price! Close to the sea and beautiful boardwalks. Close to shopping and great places to eat. There's an urgent care close as well...but expect to pay $140 NZ for an urgent care visit. Good to have nearby though!

s.Excellent location and the rooms hugh, clean and modern. The breakfast was included you could have a full hot or continental breakfast and it was fantastic. Would highly recommended this place.
J.Copthorne jewel in the crown with rooms twice the size in england. Only leave you 20.5 hours per diem with extremely restrictive check in & out times. Come on guys, 24/7!

M.Having never been previously to New Plymouth we booked into the Millennium Hotel without previously making a reservation. The staff were very helpful and rooms of a good standard. I had a view Mt. Egmont( sorry can’t spell proper name) “Salt” the hotel restaurant was very good with nice selection food and wine and really nice staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
