Thanks so much for hosting us Lynne. We arrived just before 8 and check in was super easy, even with no staff there in the later hours. The place is super tidy after what I’m assuming are recent renovations. Thanks again. Jess

Tidy and smart, handy location with Joe's Garage downstairs. While you'll seldom meet any staff I can't fault the service. I left my phone charger behind and they contacted me straight away and posted it

Definitely the best property in New Plymouth, beautiful and elegant interiors, comfortable rooms, amazing location and food at The State Bistro is delicious. Would highly recommend.

Loved my stay at The State Hotel. Every detail of my room was perfect. The hotel was spotless and beautifly appointed decor. The room was warm, tge bed super comfortable and I fell asleep with ease.The instructions for contactless checkin was easy and at no time did I feel any sense of unease at checking in via the phone instructions from manager. The hotel was better than the website photographs which is a rare thing. I will happily stay again next time I'm in New Plymouth.
