C.Loved the Hot Chocolate Brownie Sundae!!!! It was very rich tasting but, I enjoyed every spoonful. An absolutely fabulous was to start your week and end a great weekend.
A.Must try. Heaps of variety flavors in ice cream. Loved it.
J.It gets very busy here at times but don't be put off by a queue that stretches out the door, they can pump customers through pretty quick and you won't be waiting long. If you haven't tried it before make sure you do - a flavour for everyone and always freshly made cones. It's the better dessert offer at Mission Bay. You definitely pay a premium but the product is premium - and well worth it for a treat.
B.It is normally my big treat to get ice cream from a reputable company.
The quality and flavours are to die for - when we were there, they were quite busy and had a bit if a wait, definitely we'll worth it.
The sorbet ice creams flavours are really very strong, which was great and then the macadamia ice cream was great.
Great staff and very efficient.
The coffee machine was out of order, which was a bit of a let down.
Highly recommend to current and future customers, come support our local businesses during these tough times.

S.I don't think there's nothing to mention about the quality of Movenpick. As always, they're great. Loved the ice cream and macarons, although macarons seemed to be a bit too expensive. All in all, still happy with the food and amount i have paid for it 😊

V.It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Movenpick but I’m satisfied to see that their quality ice creams are still A1 😋. Everything is still well-priced and with the scoops you get it’s all 100% worth. For anyone having Movenpick for the first time I definitely recommend that you get your order in a waffle cone, the cones are one of the things that make Movenpick stand out from your usual ice cream/ dessert store 👍

L.Great place near the harbour front. Good vibes. Be careful not to order too many scoops. I can eat a lot of ice cream but 3 scoops was too many so I tipped out one scoop to eat the waffle which was delicious. 90c per topping on top (sauce, sprinkles, nuts etc.). Around 13 for the 3 scoop waffle.
V.Walked into the store at 8.40pm. Their closing time is 10.00pm. All chairs were brought in from the outside n lined on the inside of the shop. We were refused our hot desserts to eat in . We were told it was take away only. They still had an hour 20 mins to go..I dont understand why we couldn't eat in.

You have to go and endulge at least once. And then you'll want to go more and more...
B.Located at the stoplights in Mission Bay, it is just across the road from the beach. There is normally a line but the size depends on your luck. It wasn't too bad when I came so grabbed a cone with a scoop of the mango and cream.
The scooper and cashier may not be the same person so keep an eye on your ice cream as you pay to make sure you get the right one.
They also have other desserts like brownies and cakes. Its all on the menu above the counter.
It was nice to grab a scoop and then walk down to the beach.
A.Their ice cream ia still silky smooth. The waffle cone is not as good as before but still one of the best cones. I like the dark chocolate ice cream.

L.I visited yesterday and had great ice creams. I really wanted to applaud the staff and how hard they were working on a busy day. I used to work at another Movenpick years ago so I know how tiring it is on your feet all day, and the staff were all still friendly to the kids who were so excited to get an ice cream.

w.One of the best ice-cream and waffle joint i ever visited. The ice-creams are rich in flavor and are well composed. There are usually quite a lot of visitors at the shop, usually you need to wait a little bit if you are there during peak hours.

Location is perfect and there's always enough staff to process the queue quickly. Please be mindful that it can be a super busy place during holidays and peak times.

A.Delicious and trusted flavours. Only disappointment is the small scoop size...it gets lost in the large mouth waffle cone which is also squashed down in size.
But otherwise enjoyed the Choc a d salted caramel flavour
R.I have been here many a time after dinner at one of the restaurants along Mission Bays water front. Located under the Belgian Beer Cafe me and my friend tried the new Fancy Coupes, Chocolate Crumble, and boy oh boy did it deliver. Chocolate mousse, chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, gooey chocolate sauce and chocolate crumbs. YUMMY!! Thank you Movenpick Mission Bay for once again rising to the occasion!!
T.An old favourite - nothing like awesome ice cream on a hot summer's day. The lemon sorbet we had had small chunks of lemon jelly / chews and was deliciously tangy. Kids love it too! They do a very nice Affogato.

A.Given that it's tradition to come to Movenpick when in Mission Bay, I do recommend to stop over on a hot summers day. Good quality ice cream and alot of options to choose from. However, it is a bit too sweet. That's why i recommend their warm choc brownie ( can't remember of it was a cake!) with vanilla ice cream. Eat it together and you won't regret it.

She gave my mother in law as many samples as she needed, the proceeded to build her a wonderful ice-cream using her favourites. This girl made her feel so so special throughout the process,, and my mother in law couldn't stop talking about the wonderful girl for the rest of the day and how patient she was.

S.I visited this store on Sunday and found Rush was so nice with us. we especially come from Hamilton on our cousin recommendation. we order smoothies but unfortunately those were not tasty as we thought...then Rush suggest us Milkshake and she replaced our drink with no extra cost as we especially came from Hamilton...Thanks Rush
S.Great spot around the corner, opposite to the beach. I was here in the evening Last weekend when there was a queue. I wanted to join and get the ice cream, I tried their Tiramisu which was great and Creme Brûlée too. The customer service was outstanding and so was the ambience. There was only one concern throughout, I could not read or know the flavours until I reached the staff behind the counter. The board that has ice cream images has the names/flavours written in the most tiniest font. Or should I say, the white light was too bright to read anything. I actually had to hurry up checking few things with the staff getting my ice creams. It could also be so, because the queue was long. But if there are options/arrangements to choose flavours when in queue itself, that would end up in a better experience. It pretty much is going to be the same during holidays especially on the weekends! Goid Luck!
L.Stop here most Sundays after a walk. Great selection of nice ice cream but disappointed to see they are still using plastic spoons when they have wooden ones there. We had just seen 2 plastic spoons while walking round the shore, one on footpath & one on rocks over the sea wall.

D.The things we do (or pay) for great tasting ice cream. Pretty good selection of flavors. Was surprised how busy it was on a cold wet day. No queue, just all the seating inside and most of the outside where taken up.

M.Yes, this is a great place for dessert. And yes, I love the desserts here. BUT - The prices are definitely overdone and there is little justification for charging those obnoxious prices except that dessert-only places are hard to come by in Auckland. No, I wouldn't go to Movenpick too often, and its the price range that puts me off.

b.Verry disappointed. Having been away from NZ for a year we were very excited to dig into our first scoop of the family favourite, Caramelita. Considering the charge of $7.50 for a single scoop of ice cream, you'd think they'd be more generous. But worse than that, the Caramelita was so diluted from its original flavour it was sad. It was almost white in colour, unlike the sandy, caramelly colour of yore and almost no chunks of caramel in the one scoop. Come on Movenpick, don't let us down!!

S.Beautiful location! Perfect in summer! Wether it be taking the kids for a treat or walking along the beach, ice cream in hand with that special someone... Movenpick hits the spot! They also do desserts and hot drinks aswell as milkshakes. Plenty of seating but it does getting super packed in summer with lines stretching out the door.

Y.Well we should accept it is expensive...quality is good but if you talk about value of money...it is not worth it. Part of it might be because of the mission bay area location. If you want to have a nice drive along the sea while having good view of city or you are on your way to mission bay beach, you can try this...but do not go from other parts of the city only to eat this.

N.Came here with the hope of eating their awesome ice-cream on one friday evening as the opening hours clearly state 10am till late (12am) on their webpage. However on reaching here at 11:30 pm the staff told us they are closed..apparently in winters they close early.. In this case it should be mentioned clearly on their website saying so..It would have saved us that half an hours drive!

S.Just went to this place in mission bay today, best ice creams ever had, but I just saw the comments below and some one who brought ice cream and complains about not receiving an extra cup, I was pretty sure that there are price difference for cups and cones and pretty sure that's why they are not allowed to give you the cup, and either way they are just there to serve you and following the instructions given to them.
P.I can say that one of the best ice creams I've ever taken.. Swiss chocolate and raspberry/strawberry.. Delicious.
