Went last week, and brought my kids after rugby practice as we have always seen it and the kids are always begging me to go in, but the prices scared me, but fear not, the prices are 110% worth it. The quantity in the cups and cones is shocking, and the flavours are very refreshing. Both of my kids got ambrosia and I got coffee-banoffee (coffee and banana with some chocolate on top) and oh my goodness it tasted better than coffee! (coming from a coffee lover) and my kids loved the ambrosia they got so excited when they got a marshmallow in their mouth. I can tell you one thing for sure, we will be regular customers now! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Got the mango ice cream mix in the photo. Brilliant. Real mango pieces, even right down to the mango fibres (see the spoon photo, that isn't hair). Took a while to receive our order as there were a lot of other people, it was a hot day, and they make 'em fresh. Got blueberry and banana ice cream mix, as well as passionfruit yogurt mix on a separate day... The banana needed more banana, as it tasted like vanilla ice cream with a hint of banana. Other two were great, would recommend the yogurt more than the ice cream. The prices are a bit up there, but are worth it for the spend. The small is $5, so it would set you back a 2L tub, but I mean, spoil yourself every once in a while! 4 stars as a result of the wait times on both occasions, and the banana. Would return though, especially over the summer!

These are seriously to die for! They have some amazing flavours. They are a reasonable price, can be pricey to some but it's what you pay for and it's nice for a treat every now and again they are beautiful and taste great 😊 I only live just down the road from this place so can be dangerous sometimes 😅

Banana with ice cream base don’t even doubt it 💯💯💯 just don’t forget these are real fruit - weak tasting fruit will not over power the base yoghurt or ice cream because of course they won’t. But strong fruit like banana, strawberry, blueberry and feijoa will be STRONG in the best sense.

Great real fruit ice cream! Can't believe we haven't tried this place! Friendly service and cool decoration too. I'd say that Roll Up in Raglan is slightly better but this is an amazing shop too.

Delish! We bought a medium ice cream for $6.50. 50¢ extra for the chocolate dipped cone. Was worth every cent! Highly recommended! I'll never turn back to containered ice cream ever again and would willingly drive the 25 mins to buy one of these!

this is without a doubt the best ice cream in New Zealand and maybe even the world. i have been to many places like Germany, England, Aussie and more and this ice cream is one of the best. it was very good. the fruit was very fresh and it was very nice on a hot sunny day.

Yummy yumyumz real fruit ice cream here! Cherry and Banana Honey is luscious with a real cherry placed on top. The staff were super friendly and super helpful with flavour choice. Can't wait to go back! AAA+

Friendly stuff (also still happy to help if you just get there 10mins before closing time) and great icecream but the location is not the best. Large icecream costs 10$. Ambrosia is my favourite! Have an open eye on there special offers (see on social media profiles), they can be quit nice!

Sunny Nelson may have fewer flavors than some ice cream establishments, but the fruit-based flavors they have couldn't be better because they are seasonal and mixed fresh for each customer. You can choose regular ice cream, frozen yogurt, or dairy-free fruit ices. Bring friends or family and play cornhole while you enjoy your treats. Josh, the owner-operator, is always fun to talk with. Three sizes, reasonably priced. They also have coffee, but I'm not a coffee drinker, so I can't comment on the quality. Open until 7pm M-F and until 8pm on weekends.

On the way through to Tauranga and we stopped here and were super happy with the service! Josh helped us figure out the flavors and icecream combinations, super helpful. We both enjoyed our icecream and the flavor selections!

It is 100% the best ice cream shop i have ever had definitely recommend. Portions are huge even the kiddie cones are huge so take that into account when buying lol very very filling 😁. I've read alot about ruakura Berry farm having the best frozen yoghurt ice cream but sunny Nelson defiantly was alot better the flavour was delicious. The texture just needs to be a little bit smoother and this place will top any frozen yoghurt shop I've been too. Defiantly recommend checking out! 👌😁

Delish real fruit icecream. My fav strawberry and vanilla icecream ... $6 in Waffle Cone. Kids icecreams only $3. Other fruit options are raspberries, blackberries, banana n feijoa. Really friendly n welcoming staff 👍 Nice comfy seating and cool kids games they can play. They did say they are going to be open weekends during winter 💗
