I sent an email to enquire as to what they have to offer in gelato cakes and I received a quick detailed and helpful response. Thank you Graham for being so helpful, your customer service is excellent. The yum yum flavour was really good, as was the chocolate. We were really impressed that it was made to order and we'll definitely be coming back again.

This is the place to go to on a sunny day when walking the Wellington waterfront. It just seems to be a habit. The only reason why I haven’t given them 5 stars is that at times they seem to be understaffed. The gelato is brilliant!

It really depends the type of gelato you like. Some (not all) flavours do run more on the creamy side. I really enjoy their fruity flavours:guava, mango and durian. Their matcha was too creamy for me as I do like a strong matcha. The gelato never feels too sweet. It's also great that they change flavours every now and then. The staff is also very friendly. You can feel that they enjoy working there. If you don't believe me just go there and try it. You can sample a few flavours before you commit to a full scope or two.

Great quality ice cream with an excellent view. A good range of flavours - not too many to be overwhelming but enough to tempt you into an extra scoop. There are a couple of standard flavours thrown in with the more imaginative ones. And even a sorbet - if that's your thing. Something for everyone. Waffle cones. Obviously. Or a cup if you are that way inclined (and I'm not judging). There are some seats outside that are under cover or the Harbour is a skip and a jump if you want to soak up the view while you snarf up your treat. Find an excuse and visit.

Used to be the best ice cream in town, but not sure what happened but it's average now. Cones are smaller than before, less options, and most importantly not that great taste. Would recommend to walk to Kaffee Eis instead.

The gelato here never misses. I got yumyum (peanut and choc/caramel?) this time, and lemon, lime & bitters. Cone is delicious and crunchy. Every lick is a delight!! Just wish I could come here more often as I live in Auckland.... The only downside!!!

This place is so amazing. Best time to come is definitely at night with family or friends. Then you can go and enjoy a nice glow in the dark gelato out on the water front. This is my dream place to work as a teenager while at college :)

Loved the glow in the dark ! Ice cream was ok tasting had a slight “fake flavour” to it but was still nice. But my biggest disappointment was the plastic container and spoon .... could have been made if paper and wood.

Not bad quality ice cream but definitely not the best I've had by a long shot. The quantities are also ridiculously stingey, I bought three scoops which amounted to three tiny scoops of ice cream (not sure what I was expecting but when you go to other ice cream places around, you get a heaped scoop). Overall, the ice cream was tasty and it's also in a really great location.

Wow wow! this is the best ice cream I ever tasted for a long time. After a one and a half hour walk we had a quick stop at my favourite ice cream place. Here you can find different flavours but my favourite one is Yum Yum flavour which contains: Heilala Vanilla bean rippled with Fix & Fogg Peanut Butter Salted Caramel & Dark Chocolate! The place is located at the waterfront opposite the Wharewaka. Worth a visit.
