Such a great place! Our second year coming here. The kitchen and toilets are always spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and there is always a nice atmosphere here. The kids love coming here too as they always make lots of friends. We all love using the pool and its always lovely and clean. Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic place, kids love it they always make friends, swimming pool trampoline, people are friendly. We have stayed many places around the world, hotels apartments but habourside is probably the friendliest. It's also an easy walk into town. Kids always stop at shop for ice cream and my daughter loves the fairies at the medical centre. I could write a lot more, like the estuary is across the road where you can kayak or SUP, but probably best if you came and see for yourself. Life is about memory's, you will have good ones here.

Very clean, tidy and well maintained. Had everything you need for a campsite. Didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting. We were allowed to take our dog but you do need to check first as I think you can't during peak times.

This is my second visit in 2 years. .perfectly maintained,plenty of space,and great options with cabins if tents are not option 😉 Nest how you please,enjoy modern swimming pool, and rest assured all amenities, awesome retail and food,groceries,getting your bike fixed,vehicle checked, or medical care these are least of your worries, it's all within skip and hop.highly recommend especially if your new to camping ! I had the great pleasure of over-wintering at this ideal wee spot. Mike and Jane have created and maintain a perfect wee hideaway and have excellent plans for the future. Ticks all the boxes; quiet, clean, tidy, excellent location, hot showers, plenty of space, affordable, and an overabundance of tūī! Looking very much to staying with them next year!

Te Whitianga-o-Kupe definitely turned it on! HHP were hospitable, reasonably priced, kept a well maintained site, close proximity to all the hotspots. Majestic views and good kai to boot! Smiles all-round...what more can you ask for on a weekend away🌅🍻😎

Lovely hospitable hosts, clean property, clean and tidy cabins, utilities clean & tidy also. Pleasure staying there for 2 weeks!

Nice place to stay . Clean and tidy. Very friendly and helpfull. Only grizzle we stayed 16 nights and never even got a $ of for so longer stay ? I have at other places ? Place ( Whitianga ) grossly over priced !! We can get just as good accomodation in other places for $40 a.night less ?

Really well maintained camping pitches, and facilities. Pool was great for a quick dip and kids loved it. Proper coffee (good coffee) was also available, which makes tenting at my age better. Stopped on the way out especially to compliment the way it was looked after. We stayed second week of January.

We stayed in this campsite for over 1 night. Even when we came little late after 7:00pm the stuff was very nice and friendly. We got nice spot on the grass right under the tree. They have free hot showers and spacious bathrooms. The kitchen was also very nice, you can borrow some dishes etc. Good location and reasonable price. Would definitely stay again

What a beautiful place to stay in NZ. I loved the park like feel and the grounds were clean and tidy. The facilities were well cleaned and the managers seemed to be out there cleaning often. They were also very helpful with answering my questions. It was close to the town and had a great view of the estuary. We enjoyed the pool as the weather was really hot. Would definitely come again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. There are a few trees but they could do with a few more to have more shade from the intense sun during summer when in a tent like we were. Good facilities: - Fridge/freezers - Clean toilets, showers etc. (hot water for showers on a timer) - Herb garden – help yourself! - Cooking areas (inside and also an outside area but under-cover which would be useful if it was raining). - A few other things but we didn’t use them like a swimming pool, TV room, etc. All in all a pretty good camping ground.

Good spot, a walk to town and beaches. Didn't spend much time there. Everything was clean and tidy , cabins tho? Thin walls! can hear people next door talking at night. Booked online then got changed $30 extra, 4 emails to sort out over charge no reply or explanation yet!

Great Place to stay as it's clean, tidy, set in peaceful surroundings, yet right in town. The hosts are friendly and helpful offering great coffee and Icecreams should you want these. On site enjoy the pristine swimming pool or hire a bike or kayak. Lots of fun for all ages. Highly recommend!! 😍

Comfortable stay, clean toilets,basic kitchen. Close to shops, can walk to town centre. Directly opposite estuary so can go swimming fishing kayaking! Bonus very clean swimming pool with sun loungers !!

The staff are very friendly and accomodating, facilities are clean and well looked after and the location is a stone's throw away from the water. It's only a 5-10mins walk into town, it's quite embarrassing driving there actually seeing how close it is. My family and I stayed in a cabin and loved our long weekend here. The rugby semi-finals were on while we were here and staff had put signs up encouraging everyone to come together in the TV room to watch it - I thought that was very lovely and patriotic. The pool is freezing but I bet a blessing in summer months. The coffee at the tuck shop is to-die-for so leave your instant stuff at home and indulge yourself each morning! You'll thank me later. Showers are nice and hot and the bathroom is always kept clean. The kitchen has pots & pans to use and fridges for you to store your chilled foods. Overall, a great campsite with excellent service and facilities. My family and I can't wait to return!

Nice to be greeted personally, even when arriving in the dark. Comfortable, quiet tourist flats with all you should require. About 300m to town.

We only stayed Sunday night, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen, showers, toilets were very clean and staff friendly and accommodating. A really family friendly holiday park, kayaks for hire, pool, close to town, beaches etc. We would love to come back and would definitely recommend a stay here. :-)

Highly recommended. Close to town and beach. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great place for children, they loved the playground and pool. The rooms are very clean and tidy. We had the best sleep of our holiday as the bed was comfy. The facilities are very well kept and clean. The BBQ areas was just great on a hot summer's night. We will definitely return. Thanks.

Fantastic family accommodation! Great location just 5 mins walk from the town centre and a gorgeous view just outside the driveway. We stayed here over the Xmas/New Year's period. The camp was full and the managers did a great job at keeping everything clean and respectfully quietening down the campers after 10.30pm. The pool was my favourite part of the park and was very clean and well used by all. The playground was great, my 15m old loved the swings, slide and trampoline. Would definitely return to stay here again next time we're in Whitianga!

Harbourside Holiday Park is located close enough to town that it's super convenient but far enough away that you get a bit of peace and quiet. The pool, playground & TV room are fab for the kids (and big kids!) and the cooking and showering facilities are great. The managers are wonderful and do such a great job of caring for the park & their guests.

A really good place to camp. The facilities are scrupulously clean. Quiet and relaxing. Lovely swimming pool. Spacious sites. Trees for shade. We would definitely recommend.

Great little camping ground. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin, with 2 kids in one room and 2 adults in the other. Quiet location, great warm pool and simple playground. 5/5 for our needs

Very clean and handy to the shops.

I stayed in a 2 brm cabin for two nights with some mates. The cabin was clean, tidy, well maintained, and equipped with the basics in the lounge, bathroom, and kitchen. The beds were comfy. The location is handy to town and beach. Great spot. Would definitely stay here again.

We just visited Whitianga and loved it. The camp was very child friendly. Our kids loved the playground and the pool. We enjoyed the BBQ area as this was a great place to meet other people. The grounds were lovely, very picturesque and tidy. Highly recommend this camp.

Under new management! And it shows. These new owners have done a fantastic job in such a short amount of time, despite having all their booking records and deposits stolen by previous managers. What a great camp ground, very happy. Will most definitely book in again for next Xmas and New Years. Excellent customer service with a real sense of putting the customer first. Absolutely love the pool and so do the kids. Cabin was clean and fresh. Recommend to all.

Owners were extremely accommodating to our poor travel schedule. Arriving after hours, a quick phone call and we were sorted. Long showers and fantastic wifi deals are a really good bonus for travellers. The location is really close to the main town, and but just far enough to not be bothered.

19,50 nzd for unpowered site which makes it the most expensive campingground i have stayed while travelling Cormandel. Nothing special either. Kitchen is spacious but no cuttlery, no water cooker. Hot showers, clean toilets, public reading and TV space. Havnt had time to check on the pool as 10am is check out.

We had a great time and absolutely recommend this camp ground. The new owners managed to fit us in when we turned up after another campground lost our booking. Everything was new and clean and well maintained. The kids loved the pool and the playground. Thanks Harbourside for making it a great holiday!

Great nice and affordable camping in the middle of city. Very kind staff, clean toilets and showers. Camp Gate closed from 10pm to 7am to vehicles.

Great facilities, short walk to town. Nice park. Very well run. Peaceful. Booked 3 nights but liked it so much staying an extra 2 nights maybe 3. I dont want to go home.

My partner had a rugby tournament. It was just down the road from the fields. The ocean was literally straight across the road. It's absolutely beautiful up there! Would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Whitianga. Town is only a walk away. Beautiful!

Hubby and I spent 3 nights in our poptop, we had the best site which was in the corner shaded from the hot sun. The pool and amenities were pristine, and wonderful service. Thank you very much, will definately be back

Amazing holiday park. Great location, near the city center but still very quiet. Everything is spotless clean and tidy. Excellent amenities, with the kids playground within eyesight of the bbq area.

Stayed the weekend with my mates and had a great time. The park was clean and tidy. Our room was well appointed. Had a great time fishing. We found the managers very helpful and informativie

Stayed in a cabin reasonable rates, no shower or toilet though, had to go to the main complex, rather a pain during the night

What a lovely place to escape to , from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcome thanks to the friendly management and beautifuly maintained grounds and facilities. The kids had a blast making new friends and playing in the pool . With only a couple of minites walk to the beach and shops what else could you ask for . Not a good place to stay in cold/raining season. Bathing facilities are outside the room which requires you to walk in the cold to have a shower. It will be a great place for summer.

Pretty basic cabins which are possibly a bit overpriced, after adding in the (confusing) linen packs. However it was clean, staff were friendly and a good location.

Me and my family always come to Harbourside Holiday Park... for the past 6 years of going, half of these comments are a load of bullshit. The owners are very nice and there site is truely amazing!
