Lily and the team at Easy Freight were extremely helpful and efficient with helping me with my machinery import from China, making the transition through Maf, customs and ports of Auckland seamless from my point of view. Even more so in that I did not engage them until well after the item was already in a container and just about in Auckland. I was having trouble getting some products delivered to me and was told by NZ Customs that I needed a custom agent. I found Easy Freight via their website and was impressed by others recommendations. I do not normally leave reviews but this time Easy Freight's team deserved it! My air cargo was due to arrive during COVID-19 lockdown and it was impossible to get a fast quote. Lily worked out all charges within an hour and her Customs broker managed to release the goods the following day. I like hassle-free process and would use them again 100%!

I dealt with Alex from Easy Freight. Very efficient service which is what I needed considering I was in Auckland only for a few days & due to medical reasons had to leave before a certain day. I also needed it done within the hour and he was able to do that. I would like to thank Easy Freight team (Max, Marina and Sanjesh) for getting our goods cleared in time and for the delivery arrangements. The only one thing I would want to suggest is to maintain a good communication which I noted was missing just towards the end of the whole process where there was a bit of confusion regarding the booking for the type of delivery truck and deposit required for the same. Otherwise it was a good experience and would get in touch with the team if I have any other consignment.

I have received a great service for my import from China. Team was very professional. I would prefer more personal connection in future as the emails were a bit too robotic and I never really got to speak to anyone, but at the end of the day the job was done fast and smooth. I also feel extra support should be given to people that are new to the import business like advice and help on how the process works as not everyone is a professional importer. I started using Easy Freight for my business last year. Max & his team make things super easy and efficient with ensuring my deliveries make it past customs and into my store asap. By simply forwarding them tracking numbers and my invoices I bypass all the hassle of waiting for customs to contact me, asking for import codes, payment (so many things which seem to take so long when dealing with them) I would highly recommend them. Being my first shipment into New Zealand, I would of appreciated more information informing me of the steps and what to expect. There was also a lack of reasonably priced options for transporting the 20 boxes the final 3km down the road and in the end felt there was little option but to rent a van and collect them ourselves. In the end, there were no delays and a positive outcome. We will certainly consider using your services for customs clearance should be we need them in future.

I am a first time importer and was referred to Easy Frieght by the freight forwarder in the USA who had accessed them in the past for goods to NZ. The entire process was pretty seamless including the customs clearing process which was very efficient. I was happy with all aspects of the process.

I got majorly jerked around by NZ customs for a guitar processor item I purchased online.... They didn't even send me a letter or contact me to notify me it was in customs. Easy freight sorted it out for me very quickly and with constant communication. Definitely go through them and not the default NZ customs service!

They always keep us up-to-date with shipment progress and if we do have a query a person answers the phone - we do not have to leave a series of voice mail messages before someone gets back. Hi Reader I engaged Easy Freight in November to do couple of shipment for Shisha World Limited. Before engaging them I inquired with Mainfreight. They were really eager to assist but took too long to respond. I approached Max and he gave the quote on the phone plus told me clearly the process involved .UAE shipment - Easy Freight arranged everything from picking up the goods to delivering to us. Door to door service. Always contacted me to advise the progress. Perfect China shipment. In this case Easy freight had to consolidate the goods from 4 suppliers, various location. It was very time consuming and painstaking work. I imported some electrical stuff from China and the goods were dangerous goods. It was a very tricky situation where more paper work was involved in terms of government regulation. Easy Freight had to go through a lot to get this organised for me. poor service i am waiting over a month for refund and invoice... they take 4-5 days to reply on the email...all sorted it was just a misunderstanding but its resolved quickly
