We had a great experience with James and team! They were great at making sure we understood all of the options and ins/outs of our mortgage and got us a really nice deal from the bank. We felt totally supported through the whole process and would highly recommend working with these guys!

James and the team are super approachable, very professional and responsive. Happy to answer any questions and give sound advice. They helped us with our home loan first and we reached out again when we were purchasing a business. Totally, 100% Recommendable.

I wish I could rate more than 5 stars! I can't thank James and the team at Mike Pero Mortgages Wanaka enough. They were such an incredible support during the purchase of my first home. To be honest I was a little terrified of the whole house buying process, given it was my first home, but James taught me so much, and helped me every step of the way. Nothing was a problem. Not only that, he secured a great mortgage rate for me. Honestly can't thank them enough for a top job done. Thanks James!

We had applied to all the banks for a mortgage, but due to our circumstances (recently returned from overseas, only short term proof of accounts) had been turned down. We were recommended James and he was brilliant. He put together the best two stage mortgage so we could build the house and get the best deal possible. Can't recommend them high enough if you don't fit into the banks cookie cutter mortgage appraisal system.

James helped us repeatedly trying to get onto the property ladder and despite our demands and time constraints always came up trumps with the information required for each property. He is very patient, gives sound advice about the products as well as great communication. The service is free and extras such as help with insurance and other concerns are also added if needed. When we move on we will definitely be using the Wanaka Mike Pero team and you should too!

This is the first time we have used a broker and before meeting James we were slightly skeptical about the value it added. However, we quickly realised that ours was not a straightforward application and after seeing the correspondence with lenders it is clear that we had underestimated the process. Nonetheless, James went out of his way to secure and structure the home loan exactly as we had hoped. There is no doubt that we would not have secured this outcome without his patience and guidance.
