Thanks so much to Jeff and Kimberley at iLender for their outstanding work at getting our home loan approved so fast. From the first phone call to getting the official “approved” Both Jeff and Kimberley were professional, calm and so helpful…we knew we were in good hands. Jeff and Kimberley were a pleasure to work with, always available to talk on the phone and very reassuring. They worked at speed to turn our challenging and stressful situation into a positive outcome. We are so grateful we were referred to iLender because without them we wouldn’t be enjoying our new home. Without doubt, the iLender team will be our first call for any future purchases.

What a wonderful team at ilender, we dealt with Jeff and Kimberley, they got us into our first home just before Christmas . They achieved for us what we thought would never happen, especially after trying 2 other brokers before them. Don't let a low deposit or past bad credit put you off If you want your first home definitely try Jeff and the team .

My situation was complex due to income level dropping following the end of a 28 yr relationship (not my choice). I was extremely worried about losing our family home of 17yrs, and very concerned that with the fast moving market I would end up stuck in a rental situation. I went to a well known broker at a local regional office who was reasonably discouraging to the point I didn't feel he had my back and was just going through the motions. I also talked to someone at Kiwibank, who I've banked with since they started and who have had our mortgage for 17 years, and got brushed off with little interest in the illogical aspects of me being unable to get a loan - eg the fact I would be paying more if I had to rent, and I also had an excellent track record of paying my mortgage. I found iLender after doing research into lending for self employed, and the response was so different - it was positive and encouraging - because what I did have in my favour beyond income level was very good equity in our house to use to buy my ex out. After months and months of trying unsuccessfully with another mortgage broker, being told by iLender that I could lend a decent chunk of what I needed opened the way to family help which eventually lead to the house coming into my sole name this week. My situation was complex but the fact someone was prepared to look at the positives in my situation rather than just a box ticking rejection was the vote of confidence I needed to move forward in keeping my home for myself and my children and future generations. My advice is if things look impossible, don't give up, there may be a way for you when the odds seem stacked against you. A huge thanks to Jeff and his team. At all steps along the way I felt treated with positivity and respect which is in contrast to what I got elsewhere.

We called Jeff and team on Monday evening before a Wednesday finance date condition expiry after having no luck with banks up until that time. Jeff said he would have me an offer by Wednesday lunchtime and he was true to form. We were able to save our property purchase thanks to Jeff and his team. Cannot speak more highly of them. Thanks!

First, let me assure you Jeff isn't writing these reviews himself! He really exists, and I'm a real client with no other connection. We were referred to him by a broker who had been acting for us, but felt he could not help us any further. Jeff responded immediately that he could definitely help (not would "try to help") with what was clearly a tricky refinancing exercise. The proof of the promise was that he has delivered on it, coming up with an arrangement which was tailor made to our situation. I was told there was NO WAY we could get a home loan, but I thought there must be a way. I looked randomly online and I saw iLender. At first I thought it was just another suspect finance company, but after doing some checking, i found out they are exactly what they say they are. I phoned iLender during the covid 19 lockdown, actually thinking no one would answer... wrong. Jeff answered and i told him about our situation, which was not good. We were both unemployed, no income and thanks to covid, stuck at my mother's. The only thing we had going for us was that we had some money in the bank. Jeff didn't tell me no problem or it's an easy process, but he did say it could be done. I told my family we could do this, they didn't believe me and thought I was dealing with a dodgy company. They couldn't of berm more wrong!!! I said to Jeff, apparently your the number 1 broker and let's see your magic. He said, if he can't do it, then no one can.... he was right, and he is NUMBER ONE. Jeff made time for us, kept in constant contact, he was always cool, calm and professional, which made me feel relaxed during the process. Her didn't promise anything he couldn't deliver, and he did deliver 100%. The banks wouldn't touch us as we were buying from Australia, and we were turned down by two other brokers who apparently specialise in overseas buyers! Amazing, this is a very unique and special service. I was amazed at Bruce's skills and ability, his patience in responding to changes, ease of finding loans when the other banks had complex policies and introduced delays, and also the fact there was no other broker I could find in NZ who was able to do what he was able to do.
