I can not rate Diamonds On Richmond Highly enough! If you are looking for an engagement ring in Auckland its the only place to go in my opinion. Michelle was amazing and spent so much time getting to know me, what I wanted and explaining how everything works, after my call with her I just knew I was going to get my dream ring from them. We made a booking to go in and were made to feel very special. The whole process was enjoyable, stress free and I couldn't have asked for a more stunning ring. Once they had a good picture from me of what I wanted my partner took over and Michelle helped to guid him and work with him on collection etc. I just think their attention to detail and the care they put into ever piece really comes through. Their customer service is next to none and I love how they truely believe in their brand and back themselves which shows in their guarantees. Will be back for our wedding bands. A huge thank you again to Michelle and the team, you have out done yourselves!! xx

My amazing fiance let me design my engagement ring and suggested we go to Diamonds on Richmond- and I'm so glad he did! The whole process of custom designing a ring was fantastic with them and Matt was great to work with. Would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a special piece of jewellery.

My daughter received a beautiful ring as part of a radio station program for Valentines Day. I thought this was a stunning and caring gift for her. My husband took me to the business to buy an eternity ring for me. I enjoyed the caring service from the owners and I was very impressed with the range of beautiful rings. Absolutely gorgeous, I’m super happy with my ring.

I had such an amazing experience with the team at DOR. I first reached out to them in 2020 for the engagement ring and worked with Matt and Lara to get the perfect ring. They were so knowledgeable and such a pleasure to work with. I then ended up going with the place-holder proposal ring so that my partner could end up designing the final touches with me as I knew that would be something she would like since she is a creative. This is such a great service they offer and it really means you can keep the proposal a surprise. My partner was completely surprised when I proposed, which was awesome and she loved the place-holder ring. It really is a beautiful design. We then got started with choosing the final design features. We also got our wedding bands from DOR and absolutely love them! The owners Michael and Michelle went above and beyond in ensuring we were taken care of. I was blown away, not only by the quality of the rings and diamonds, but also how the team helped me get the best value for money and was not pushy in anyway. They just wanted my wife and I to be happy with our rings and enjoy this beautiful chapter in our lives. I don't usually leave reviews, but after such a positive experience with DOR I wanted to leave a review to say thank you to the team!! Highly recommend going to see them!

Worked with lara and the team back in 2019 and 2020 to get an engagement ring and wedding rings. They listened and helped us get exactly what we wanted. Compared to most other jewelers, I was really impressed with the easy going customer service.. No hard sell or pushing for more money! Matt and the DOR team were all amazing! Even with lockdowns they got the ring sorted quickly and it is beautiful! My fiancee loves the ring and is receiving lots of compliments. They made the process super easy and were able to get the ring size perfect just based on photos. Thanks Matt and team!

Settle in for a long review💍💎 I wasn't sure what it would be like to design my own engagement ring. I felt anxious and scared that it was something for the mega rich only and not someone with a very modest budget. My partner and I went on a recommendation of a friend. When we got there I couldn't believe how down to earth and approachable they were. I got to try on all the different styles of ring because that an issue for me, I actually didn't know what suited me. Our consultant joked with me and my partner the whole way through, putting us at ease until I found a ring style that I didn't want to take off. I wore the try on ring for the rest of the appointment. Then we talked budget, design ideas, what I wanted to customize. I felt like I was being heard and I could tell that Matt, the consultant, understood my tastes. He welcomed all the pins from my pinterest board, and he shared the vision of what we wanted to create. They stayed in regular contact with us, kept us informed of every step of the process, found the best diamonds for our budget, sent 3D mock up images and to speak to my initial anxiety, there were no hidden or surprise little fees added. My partner and I still look at it and revel in the intricate beautiful engraving work on the band, a tiny and delicate filigree and migrain design with a twist, it blended a celtic symbol into a koru image, to symbolize where I'm from and where he's from. A vintage and timeless classic style, reimagined skillfully and subtly, completely unique and one of a kind, a bit like my fiancé I reckon. Owing to the talent of the ring maker, the ring turned out better than any image we could have dreamed up. Highly recommend.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but after my experience with Diamonds on Richmond I felt I had to. I recently proposed to my now fiancé and after looking around a few different diamond jewellers in Auckland, I decided to go with Diamonds on Richmond. From start to finish the service was absolutely top class. I worked with Matt Wishart who’s knowledge, understanding, passion, and patience was second to none. He answered my many questions with honesty, kept in constant communication throughout the process, and was not pushy in any way. He helped me to find the perfect ring within my budget and both my fiancé and I could not be happier with the end result. I could not recommend Diamonds on Richmond enough and I will definitely use their services again in the future (hopefully not for another engagement ring!)

I was highly impressed with the difference between the staff here to all the others around. They are simply much better and caring then the competition. All the other jewellery shops in Auckland All the staff seemed all they cared about was selling me the most expensive option and also all they cared about was getting my email I felt as they are working for commission. My (now!) husband and I cannot recommend Diamonds on Richmond (DOR) enough. My partner had originally approached DOR for help choosing my engagement ring before we got engaged. He had heard about DOR's ability to make your dream ring at your budget. At the first meeting, DOR recommended he use a proposal ring. This meant we could go back and choose the "real" ring together. From the moment we walked in to choose my "real" engagement ring, we felt welcome. Michelle was so kind and helpful and accommodating. With Michelle's assistance, we quickly chose the design we wanted for my engagement ring and the ring was custom made just for me and was ready to pick up six weeks later! Michelle was so fantastic that there was no doubt I needed her help with my wedding band as well. Same as with the engagement ring, Michelle delivered exactly what we wanted with no hassle or fuss (or ridiculous price tag!). Not once did we feel looked down on for having our "budget" and this was much appreciated. DOR is fantastic and we would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much Michelle and team!

From a guys perspective of making the biggest commitment you're ever likely to make and not having a clue about where to start for the all important engagement ring, Michael and the team at Diamonds On Richmond were well placed to offer all the advice I needed in a friendly, professional and non sales oriented manner. I had looked at 2 other well known manufacturing jewelers in Auckland specializing in engagement rings, and found their service and approach lacking. DOR made the purchase stress free, and the various options for exchange / re-size of any ring purchased made the final decision that much easier. I really can't speak highly enough of them !

Couldn't recommend this place enough! Don't bother going anywhere else! Myself and my soon to be mother-in-law went to go find an engagement ring here about a month ago. We avoided the big chains because we wanted a more personal experience and we definitely found it. I'm horrible with names, but the woman helping us was a lot of fun and had a great sense of humour. I was out of my element and had never really looked at engagement rings before, but I knew my fiancé wanted rose gold, something unique and didn't want to walk around with a massive rock on her finger. She was very knowledgable and took her time to show me any ring I wanted and eventually stumbled upon the perfect design. I wanted to have the ring custom made in rose gold, which was no problem, and I even got to pick out the diamond that would be used. She explained to me the 4 c's and went into detail about the entire process. It was made in a very timely manner and they let me know the minute it was ready. We had plenty of laughs and it was a very satisfying experience. Even after the proposal we went in to get it resized and it was ready in just a few days. Couldn't be happier, these people really know what they're doing and are excited to help you. I was unable to choose a ring that I thought would be suitable so the team provided me a "proposal" ring to propose with, after my fiancé was able to choose her own custom ring. Don't go to those jewellery franchise chain stores for something special. DOR is a small store, and the service was just right, considered, respectful, and not pushing anything. Mat remembered who I was, what I had mentioned to him from previous visits, and made it very easy. Choosing something that will last a lifetime should be special, and the memory of choosing it should also be a lasting and rewarding one. Franchises are for fast food, go for boutique fine dining instead.

Went in to Mt Eden jewellers to have my girlfriends ring finger sized (had previously got her engagement ring resized there but it was stolen). He refused to do it and it really upset my fiancé.
