Dan, Dean and Fleur are the best in the business! I would give Polished Diamonds 1000 stars if I could! If you are looking for any ring these guys are your FIRST and ONLY stop. They can design anything you like and have awesome software that can show you what your ring will look like. I also had a really tight (almost impossible) timeline and the team at PD even managed to pull off my design ahead of schedule. Seriously impressed with everything and my whole experience with PD. Will be recommending to everyone! There is a reason these guys only get 5 stars, and its because they really are the best!

I approached Dan and his team earlier in the year to make my wedding band as I wanted something that complimented my engagement ring. We spoke through what I wanted and they sent me a 3D image of what it would look like which was amazing. It was so exciting to pick it up, and then it got squirreled away for a few months until the big day which happened recently and I wanted to share what a great experience I had with Polished Diamonds to get exactly what I wanted to wear on my finger for the rest of my days 🙂

So thrilled with my ring that was created by Dan and the team. They have managed to make something so impressive and eye catching while it still being so dainty and feminine. We had multiple CADs done and a wee bit of problem solving to get the desired results but they have nailed it. I’m also so happy with how much contact there was. With emails and phone calls for updates because I was very eager. Even with covid I managed to have my ring in a few weeks. Thank you so so so much. I can’t stop looking at it!

Polished Diamonds did an absolutely incredible job! I did a lot of research when considering what engagement ring to buy. After a referral from a friend, I thought I would contact Dan and see what I could do. I was absolutely stoked to see the quality of work that Dan makes, as well as the very competitive prices. After speaking to many jewelers, I could tell that Dan was incredibly honest, and wanted to provide the best option for me as a customer. My then girlfriend was very impressed by the ring! She soon became my fiancee and is now my wife :) Which I'm pretty stoked about! Once we had settled on what style wedding bands we wanted, we went directly to Dan to arrange the rings for our wedding day. While my bank account will thank me that I no longer need to buy a ring, I am saddened that I won't get to purchase another off Polished Diamonds (at least until the next big jewelry purchase is expected!).

As someone who didn't really know a lot about diamond rings, visiting Polished Diamonds for my engagement ring was the perfect place to go. From the moment of going through the door, we felt welcome and were talked through everything we needed to know in a very informative, without being at all pushy, way. To also know that they could produce pretty much any style by using their CAD design system was fantastic, and after seeing the style of ring I was after I knew they were the place to go with my picture. The whole process of getting my ring was so easy and Dan was fantastic to work with. I am so in love with my ring and can't thank them enough for giving me what I imagined.

Polished Diamonds was recommended to me by a work colleague. I had 3 diamond rings from a previous marriage that I wanted made into something I could wear. The process was so easy. Dan was so helpful and came up with the final design and its perfect. Seeing the CAD drawings was fantastic as I was able to see what the finished item would look like. I am so thrilled with my ring and would highly recommend Polished Diamonds to anyone wanting to have old rings remade.

Our experience with Dan and his superb team, from start to finish, was absolutely first class, and simply cannot be faulted. We'd become engaged at the end of the 2019, and had elected to take a bit of a time to select just the right ring, believing we'd found just the one through a higher-end New Zealand jewellery chain, which, by the time we visited them in-store in Auckland in February 2020, had unfortunately sold, though was still featured on their website. However, that company's reluctance to replicate or even reorder what I'd started to consider "my" ring was deeply upsetting. We were clear in our desire to seek a bespoke creation, and had reluctantly considered that we may not find locally what we so desperately sought. And so, during 2020's lockdown, disconsolate and feeling somewhat stonewalled, what had started as essentially a "tyre-kicking" exercise trawling the Polished Diamonds website on a chilly Sunday afternoon in April, variously comparing stones and settings, set us on a fast track to success. We were both understandably wary and concerned about committing to a ring design and purchase in the midst of a global lockdown in which personal contact was not possible, yet somehow, Dan not only addressed and allayed all our concerns in the most genial and professional manner, he also somehow arranged import of our chosen stone from New York, and maintained outstanding contact and updates throughout the entire process. Dan possesses a special skill in making you feel as though your order is the most special ever to enter his hands. I'm not the first reviewer to say this, because it's so true - Dan goes absolutely above and beyond for his clients, and it is simply a pure joy to discover that honest, thoroughly transparent communication and impeccable service still exists in a culture driven by cheap, disposable alternatives. To his enormous credit, nothing was a bother. Besides which, Dan is a thoroughly decent bloke, and the banter was always top-notch - we always looked forward to catching up with him, and in the end, we probably chatted as much about gin distillation as about the ring! Polished Diamonds caught my attention due to the modern appealing styles of engagement rings I saw they had designed. I visited the Christchurch store in New Regent St & found the staff very welcoming, keen to assist and pressure free. The most important thing was that after settling on a design the ring arrived on time and was absolutely stunning, I was very impressed and my fiancé was overwhelmed with delight. The quality of manufacture was perfect. Could not be happier and every time I look at it I am just so wowed at how stunning it looks. From start to finish Dan went above & beyond exceeding my expectation from initial design concepts to a last minute resize. I could not recommend and praise polished diamonds enough.

I took my Grandmother’s wedding ring into Polished Diamonds to be redesigned and diamonds added. Dan was amazing! He understood the sentimental value of using the gold from my grandmothers ring. Dan and the team were superb, we had a part missing from a diamond ring set and wanted to have this complete. With a number of raised claws, jigsaw type of cluster, other jewelers had effectively said too difficult, but Polished Diamonds said it was possible and managed to complete the work to the extremely high standard we desired and on time and on budget. I recommend Polished Diamonds to anyone who's looking for an engagement ring. Superb service. Unlike any other shops that I've been to. Dan and Dean were really knowledgable and were very accomodating. Dan explained everything I needed to know about choosing a ring. From the 4 C's, to how to get the perfect ring without going out of my budget, and even which ones of those C's to prioritise. They even showed me the exact diamond that would be used even before I decided to go with them. They also have this thing called Computer-Aided Design. Which lets them design the ring based on your preference and lets you see how it would exactly look like when it's made. With PD, you'll get a customised ring for a price that would only get you a stock subpar quality ring when you go to the more well-known local stores. Will definitely go back to Dan and Dean to get me and my fiance our wedding rings. Thanks Polished Diamons.

I contacted Polished Diamonds regarding designing a complete eternity ring for my wife which was a struggle trying to find within the city, let alone the country. I knew I wanted it with alternating rubies and diamonds so it would be custom made due to the significant lack of choice anywhere else. After sending an email with my query I had a response within a day or two, went in and had a friendly chat. And went from there! Dan was able to best guide me as to what ring style could be worn more frequently and what would look best with the existing engagement and wedding rings of my wife’s. There was a lot of indecision from myself, to which Dan was patient and sent me multiple CADS which he did not have to so I could be sure. The end result is perfect, elegant, and one of a kind. I walked into Polished Diamonds after being unsatisfied by the more mainstream outfits. Finding an engagement ring is a somewhat bewildering task, but I was blown away by the experience at Polished Diamonds. If I could give 6 stars here I would. Dan and team went above and beyond. We were just about to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary and unfortunately the solitaire diamond was lost from the ring. Thankfully Dan came to the rescue and in a very tight timeframe redid the setting, arranged for a suitable replacement diamond -set it and then arranged delivery to our out of town address for arrival on a Saturday morning. It arrived in time for our special celebratory weekend - just perfect. Dan provided expert advice and recommendations that focused on our needs and interests and budget. The finished result is the replacement has surpassed the original. Dan provided clear and prompt communication and even followed up on the Saturday to check that it had arrived. Brilliant service and advice all along the way. Highly recommended - they totally deserve the perfect 5 star record.

My partner bought the most amazing diamond engagement ring a girl could want from this place. My ever so loving" now fiance " got the wrong sizing. We managed to force ring on my finger. 2 days later I was at a&e getting ring cut off, being platinum it was cut in 2 places. I would highly recommend Polished Diamonds for quality of diamonds for money, quality of workmanship, design and creativity. Polished Diamonds make a statement that they can deliver a better quality at better cost direct to you than a box chain of jewelry stores and this is absolutely true!. The remake of my engagement ring (originally purchased online from James Allen) before and after is amazing!! It was really hard for me to visualise, even from CAD, what the transformation would look like from a solitaire on a 1.5mm band to a 3 stone setting. I have come away with an amazing 3 stone design that makes my centre stone look far larger than when it was a solitaire and is far more impressive than the original ideas I had around a halo or 6 claw solitaire in a thicker band. Beyond happy!! I will be using Polished Diamonds again in the very near future. Highly recommended!

I recently had a family ring redesigned so I would wear it. Dan was just great - he helped design a ring that I'm completely delighted with, the sketches from the various angles really helped me to visualise what the ring would look like, and I was really happy with how he made sure it was exactly right before moving to the next stage. It was a surprisingly fun, easy, quick and smooth process from start to finish. I've since gone back to have other rings resized and cleaned, and even on those much smaller jobs, Dan has great, with excellent results, really fast turnaround.

I came to see Dan in a rush, with less than a month til my wedding. I'd been struggling to find a matching palladium band for my engagement ring and running out of time. Dan quickly put my mind at ease, scanned my engagement ring and came up with options for the band in no time. I got to find out why they're 5 stars. Had my great grandfather's wedding signet ring resized and re-engraved and just wow. The hand carving detail and knowledgeable open service was great. Kind of wish I purchased my engagement ring from here instead of partridge (who were also fine).

For our upcoming 10th wedding anniversary, my hubby got my old diamond necklace remodelled into the design I wanted at the Polished Diamonds. We looked around before commiting to working with them, and the Polished Diamonds had the best price and also great communication. The team at the Polished Diamonds were very attentive and efficient, providing a CAD image of the design I asked for, and answered any question I had. The end product was even more beautiful than I anticipated! I am so in love with my nexklace now that I haven't taken it off since I picked it up. Dan you are the Man! After visiting numerous jewellers we just felt that no one was quite understanding what I was after or I was told that it wasn't possible. We happened to stumble upon a little store in New Regent Street so thought we would go in. When we walked in we were greeted by an easygoing man;Dan who briefly told us about how he creates what his customers want by designing it with a CAD system on his computer. I had never heard about this but was intrigued by it...and after sitting down with Dan for a few minutes we knew he was the guy to create such a special piece. With Dan in NZ and us living in Australia he assured us it will be very easy to design it together over email and then he will send through the artworks via his CAD system. Dan searched for the stone colour/shade I loved, advised on other specifications and told me it will be better than what I wanted. After five emails the design was done, was being made and was delivered to me within 10 days. When it arrived I was so nervous to open it as what if it wasn't what I visioned....I was right, it wasn't what I envisioned.....it was 10 times better!!!!! Dan I can't thank you enough for putting 200% into your art...into what your customers want...and customer service!!! I can not stop staring at this beauty all day ha....Brooke & Simon

I made few phone calls to few jewelers to resize my platinum wedding band. They said it would cost me over 120 to 150 dollars and takes 1 week to 2 weeks. But this amazing jewelrer costed me only a half price compare to other shops and took just 3 days to resize my band. Also he is kind, hospitable and I felt he is eager for his work.
