It was such a seamless and exciting experience dealing with Richard James Jeweler. The team are wonderful and their boutique is gorgeous. We got my Grandmothers and Mothers rings redesigned and from the beginning they listened and helped us create the perfect piece that I will wear forever in memory of my Grandmother. They also created 5 single stacker rings with diamonds in each that will be passed on to the Granddaughters in the family in time. We couldn’t be happier with the process and the beautiful jewelry that has been respected and redesigned. I highly recommend Richard James Jeweler and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Such a great jeweller. Nothing was a bother, service was amazing and my ring is so stunning. I am from Wellington so had to get pictures of the ring I’d seen online sent to me and they even sent a video. Getting it resized and sent to me was easy too. I would definitely recommend this jeweller.

Wow what a team. I received my gorgeous ring about 6 weeks ago which they made. The process was so simple and easy, working with Richard in the design process seeing the pictures he produced and then the waiting for the Jeweller to do his magic. And magic it certainly was. Wow I have an amazing ring. I received it at my work place delivered by my daughter. My work colleagues were blown away, work got in the way , all I wanted to do was look at it. Richard, Stevie and Jan are an absolute pleasure to deal with at Richard James Jeweller. They are all incredibly knowledgeable in their own rights and it makes purchasing a superior piece all the more easier. In our case my engagement ring. Which I absolutely love! You are included in the entire process from start to finish which was amazing, being able to receive 3D renders was great so we were all on the same page, the fact that everything is done in house by the jeweller and even a cheeky coffee or two when a design needed to be confirmed. What a an absolute experience. If you are looking for quality pop into the boutique and see these guys. You won’t be disappointed. See you guys in 2022 for our wedding rings!

I live in Auckland and was struggling to find exactly what I wanted for an engagement ring for my now fiancée. I came across Richard James online and was a little hesitant at first about shopping away from home but Stevie and Richard made it an absolute breeze. Fantastic communication right the way thru, 3D renders were amazing so we were all on the same page about what I was getting as an end result. Flawless process. I went to Richard James to replace a strap for my well-loved watch. RJ had a selection of great quality brown and black leather straps which have given my watch a fresh new look. So so so happy with my amazingly beautiful engagement ring thanks to Richard and the team at Richard James Jewellers. They were formerly Heard Jewellers that has been around Hawkes Bay for years with an exceptional name for themselves and now focusing on a more boutique and custom experience which really is amazing. The entire experience from start to finish was just wonderful. The care and attention to detail and Richards ability to understand what I was looking for and turn it into a work of art that I will treasure always. I cannot recommend these guys enough. The most beautiful jewellery made by the best jewellers you'll find anywhere. If you are looking for the most divine engagement ring then Richard James Jewellers is where you need to go. My experience with Richard James Jewellers has been the most enjoyable and special experience. Based in Auckland I googled not expecting to come across Richard James and I really liked the feel and style as I was looking to have a special piece of jewellery made for my wife for our 30th wedding anniversary. Having regularly purchased custom made jewellery over the years I have been most impressed with the experience, the quality and how I was looked after and listened to throughout the process all whilst Richard was fitting out his new shop and workshop. He is just the most genuine and nice guy. Distance wasn`t a barrier and the ability to be a part of the design process and see it all come to life was wonderful. I cannot recommend Richard James Jeweller highly enough. I am absolutely wrapt with my wifes new gift and so is she!
