Service here is absolutely outstanding. If you want amazing jewellery go here. Susie and the crew are exceptionally perceptive on helping you with what you really want. After a few minutes talking with Susie about a special gift I was wanting, she knew EXACTLY what I wanted, sourced the stone and made it to perfection. Just don't waste your time going anywhere else. I wouldn't.

Thank you to everyone involved especially Kerryn, you all have been awesome to deal with in choosing my replacement engagement and wedding rings, nothing but fantastic service, Kerryn you have made everything super easy with choice to sorting sizing, and helping give mum a special mother's day in a tuff time, would highly recommend even just for the staff as they're all awesome lovely ladies, the Quality of their jewelry is definitely by far the best, I was listened to in what my needs are and what I couldn't have or wanted, I honestly never thought my insurance could afford rings from there but I'm so glad I happened to go in and have a look, I can't wait to get them back after getting them joined, I honestly don't think I'll go anywhere else now, may have to save that little bit more but when you want Quality then it's worth every cent

They are a very helpful, patient group of ladies with a wealth of experience, and more than happy to spend as much time as needed to answer all my questions. They helped design and layout my thoughts, suggest constructive changes to improve the look, and kept me in the loop throught. Very happy with the end product, and will definitely return!

Having dealt with this delightful store several times in the past I used them for replacing my watch battery yesterday. They are just great, the knowledge and service they offer is the best and is always done with a smile. Celine served me and I can highly recommend her delightful manner. Do yourself a favor and use this store next time you're looking for that special gift - better choice, better service and no dearer than the big branded chains of jewellery stores.

Max Wilson is the most amazing jewellers in all of Palmerston North if not NZ and I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. I have been shopping here for nearly ten years for both myself, my daughter and for gifts. One of the main reasons I shop here is due to the beautiful Amanda. Amanda is so lovely and always greets me with a smile and a warm welcome. She has exquisite taste and has helped me on numerous occasions to find just the right piece for either myself or for gifts. She is so kind and patient and amazing to deal with. I trust her implicitly and I know I can always rely on her for an honest opinion and she goes above snd beyind to make sure I am happy and satisfied with all my purchases. She is one in a million and a huge asset to the team. If you are looking for a some help to choose something special then Max Wilson and Amanda should be your go to. Can’t speak highly enough about them both .

I spend few days to source the shop of my wedding Diamond, finally I focused on this shop, they are a nearly 60 years family shop, the lady Amanda is really patient and very thoughtful, I believe their quality will be much primer than the one from the mass production shop. Also they are very thoughtful because it is close Christmas, they prepared one bottle of wine and 2 delicate wine glass which I like very much due to the high quality. I would really suggest if you are looking for the unique, Max Wilson is the best choice!

Nice selection of jewellery, watches and ornaments on display. They are happy to talk to you about making or customising things. They can change watch batteries and pressure test to make sure it's waterproof. Their staff are friendly and offer helpful advice and suggestions.

IF YOU WANT THE PERFECT ENGAGEMENT RING LOOK NO FURTHER!, After going into the "Top" big brand's in New Zealand looking for and engagement ring and getting nothing but pushy sales people who don't even listen to you and what you want, I ended up going to Max Wilson Diamond and I couldn't believe how Amazing they were, Susie in particular!, she listened to my needs and after going through all the options I ended up getting a beautiful custom made blue diamond ring and am now Engaged to the future Mrs Dennehy, Susie went above and beyond, as I was on a tight time frame before heading oversea to propose, I went in on the Monday, she had the in-house jeweler start on the Tuesday, finished by Thursday and shipped over night to Christchurch and I flew out 2 days later, she kept in contact every step of the way and my Fiance loves the Ring, I can't thank you enough
