J.Te Akonga is such an amazing preschool. The teachers are incredibly loving towards the children & there is a real sense of whanau & belonging within the centre. They are so well resourced & it is beautiful to see the teachers getting down the children's level to engage in play with them.
They are trained in dealing with children with additional needs & do so with loving compassion.
I have had 2 children go through Te Akonga & would highly recommend them.
N.As the manager of the centre, I am most proud of our amazing team of people. From our governance board to our teachers and administration staff, Te Akonga is privileged to have such beautiful people caring for our children. I highly recommend Te Akonga for all children including those who have additional needs. We love them all 💜
