Extremely helpful staff that got me sorted super fast with hosing that I couldn't find anywhere. Had it to me super fast and efficiently. Love this shop, well worth having a look and definitely worth buying from them.

Bit out of the way for me. But they sell the grow pots and supplies I use. They have their systems working outside in the garden which helps if you're wondering how well they work. Have a reasonable supply of King seeds, compost and growing mediums. Level of knowledge in staff a bit variable

This little shop is huge for service, accurate information and willingness to help. We love supporting local and when the experience really good it's not hard to. Bought auto pots for son in law and no problem for them to arrange course to Christchurch and add lots of information to get him started. Great range of seeds and other garden necessities. Love it

The staff and of course the four legged staff are all very helpful. They know their stuff too. I love going to Otaki Hydroponics for advice on my garden. They can supply the tools I need to get the job done. I have also had them install a water tank and they did a great job. Thank you very much.

I always hurried past and decided to take my time for a change and stop at Otaki Hydroponics to see what it is all about. I was pleasantly surprised with the shop, the products available, the four legged friends hanging about and the absolute great service. Of all the local businesses I have visited, I have always been treated like a customer wants to be treated, friendly, helpful and to just have a lovely chat about what is happening in our gardens. There is a huge amount of information and expertise available for novices like myself, and we should use this wealth of information from the people who have loads of experience in this area at Otaki Hydroponics.

Absolutely fan-bloody-tastic! The staff really know there stuff and are really helpful. They have a wide range of easy gardening equipment for homes with not a lot of land to set up a garden. Who knew gardening was so simple? Well done Otaki Hydroponics you have made a costumer for life!

I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. I love the range of kings seeds and having great success with our Auto pots. We still have an aubergine and capsicums growing in our greenhouse using the auto pot systems. I think the plants only take what they need so no chance of root rot...

Never done any gardening before and hubby wanted to buy Autopots for growing vegetables in our new greenhouse. These guys have given us so much advice and always happy to answer questions. Best advice was how to get strong seedlings to grow it made such a difference.

Good service. Good selection of garden supplies, including fertiliser, greenhouses, seedling supplies. I was pleasantly surprised. Also very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to any gardener. I'll be back again when needed.

Not knowing much about hydroponics i visited the store to find out more. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. They gave me lots of advise and were passionate about there products. I walked out with a Autopot starter kit which had everything i needed to take my first step into hydroponic growing which only cost me $99 :) Thanks Otaki Hydroponics

These people know their onions! (Sorry.) Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and plenty of interesting things to browse. I pop in quite often, even if I only need a packet of seeds, I'd rather buy it here. Plus Hydro and Ponics and previously Bobbie Socks add their 10 cents worth to make you feel welcome.

As a first-time gardener, the step by step advice given was exactly what I needed to ensure my efforts were a success. And I am pleased to say that I managed to grow a small but successful crop of kūmara this year! That is an absolute credit to their staff, who are amazing, knowledgeable, and importantly,are in support of long-term sustainable practices. Furthermore, they are genuinely interested in helping others become empowered in their landscapes through sharing of trials and tribulations. I have also appreciated their support through professional links, and I quite like the one-on-one conversations as well as the regular updates via social media platforms. Excellent and knowledge staff with very friendly greetings for the paws assistances. Having good results with the Autopots and Otaki hydroponic supplies . new bluelab truncheon nutrient meter works well and easy to use.Best Regards Robert Hagan-Pratt

Grat shop to purchase Hydroponic growing supplies

Just good old-fashioned service with a smile and a feeling that these are good people who genuinely want to help you to have success in your gardening endeavours! The Rok Solid fertiliser is MAGIC!!!

Customer service second to none! Answered my endless questions with sound knowledge and good humour and have an amazing stock of seeds and product. If they don't have it, they get it in. It is now the only place I will shop!

Visiting Kaye, Ross and team always means I get great service and the most up to date advice on all the gardening and tools I need to get my garden started and in the best shape for any time of the year. Thanks guys really appreciate it!!

Really Really Cool Place, I went in looking to get into Hydroponics, Ross looked after me with an autopot system - super easy to grow in, was really just blown away with the level of service provided and how well they got me set up - good pricing too, was one of the cheapest places to purchase the system from - much cheaper than ebay or importing it myself - so hats off to them great pricing, great people, great business!!!

These guys are awesome, friendly and very helpful and sell great products, even gave my son some seed and a seed tray!

Always a pleasure to call in for seeds, advice and the growing medium for my hydroponics. Also supported with a "what's on special" through their email and facebook - they care !!!!

Really happy I popped into this garden centre....being a non gardener but wanting to try to learn...I found the staff friendly and helpful...service was great and I'm on my way now with a small herb garden..thanks!
