Staff were very friendly and helpful. Library is very tidy and well organized. In this modern world, I kind of forgot that libraries existed. So this was a good flash to the past. Plus great services available.

Smaller library than most, but it has an amazing range of books, especially for Children. Parking is limited, so get there early if you have a session with tots and mom's. Pity it has no quiet space for one to read or study in peace as I could hear the children singing.

A wide selection of books both fiction and non-fiction, including lots of recent publications and the usual facilities in a public library. Love coming here too browse. There's parking directly outside too. I usually visit around noon or early arvo and it's quiet around this time. The self-checkout kiosks are great, super convenient and easy to use.

I took my 84yo mother in law here to sign her up so she get some books in German. Great service and friendly staff. Nothing was a problem. We left with 3 books. If you join you get access to 6 library's in Hamilton including e-books.

Chartwell library has really great events, like Rocket on the first Saturday of the month (story, lego activity and free hot drink). They have a good selection of books, DVDs, kits and more. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Great kids selection of books and DVDs. By subscribing to their mailing list you can find out what is happening each fortnight.

Great selection of books and helpful staff. Parking is easier first thing in the morning. Parking is free! Chartwell has one of the biggest selection of books of Hamilton Libraries (after Garden Place in the CBD). Easy self-checkout speeds things up if you're in a hurry. Close to bus stops and Chartwell Shopping Centre.

Plenty of books, DVDs, magazines, etc as well as access to more in the Hamilton Library system. The staff are very friendly and helpful. During the holidays the library has programmes and reading challenges for children. The library also has a friendly security guard who has addressed the issue of bicycle thefts.

Obviously not as big as the Central Library in town, Chartwell still is a good local library. The stuff are friendly, and the library is kept clean and organised. Being apart of the Hamilton Library network, it is easy to find the book you need! The features offered to members via their web portal are great as well. Easily reserve books, and do things like 'borrow eBooks'.
