We had a really lovely visit and tasting here! Nigel was really knowledgeable and gave great insight into the wines we were tasting, as well as the winemaking process in general. I had only intended to do tastings today, but liked the wines enough that we ended up with two bottles. We highly recommend visiting Lawson's!

Stopped here to taste and buy some wine. Were greeted by a very friendly lady who had us try all of their wines. No tasting fees. We left with a few extra bottles of wine in the car. Their rose is nice and crisp, the desert wine is delicious. So to sum it up: great wines, very friendly staff, good experience!

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, just somewhere to enjoy the end of an amazing day. We found this place on google and called to see if it was too late to come in for a tasting and a platter. Carol was very inviting over the phone and even more so in person. Super polite, friendly and knowledgeable about her products. The wine was great, the products for the platter were mostly from the region and it was very reasonably priced for a vinyard. Don't come here if you want a cooked meal. We had no idea what to expect but we chose to go to Lawsons Dry Hills because it was the closest vineyard to our accommodation. Nigel was very friendly and accommodating to us two complete newbies and we tasted some delicious wine. We sat down for a glass outside and enjoyed the view. Would highly recommend to anyone who is able to go!

Did a wine tour with Bubbly grape and stopped in here. Nigel was extremely professional, knowledgable and super friendly. The wines are absolutely delicious. A must do for all and worthy of a purchase.

Lawson’s Dry Hills was our first stop at a Marlborough tasting room and we were well taken care of by Nigel, who professionally coached us through a good selection of the vineyard's wines including their delightful aromatics, their engaging Sauvignon Blancs, and their remarkably full-bodied Pinot Noirs. The wines are terrific, and competitively priced, and the cellar door itself is a very attractive room. We -- of course -- ended up buying a couple of bottles to drink over the next few days. Highly recommended!

(Translated) The visit to the winery by Barbara Lawson is always worthwhile. Not only that Barbara and her team are stunningly nice. It is always a pleasure to taste the wines. Highly recommended is, of course, the classic: Lawson Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc. Stunning is the Reserve Sauvignon Blanc. We also love the Pinot Noir Rosé, the Pioneer Gewürztraminer, the Pinot Gris Gewürztraminer and the various Pinot Noir. (Original) Der Besuch im Weingut von Barbara Lawson lohnt sich immer. Nicht nur dass Barbara und ihr Team umwerfend nett sind. Es ist auch jedesmal ein Vergnügen die Weine zu verkosten. Besonders empfehlenswert ist natürlich der Klassiker: Lawson Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc. Umwerfend ist der Reserve Sauvignon Blanc. Wir lieben aber auch den Pinot Noir Rosé, den Pioneer Gewürztraminer, den Pinot Gris Gewürztraminer und die verschiedenen Pinot Noir.
