T.Efficient service good knowledge of their wines and growing methods, friendly staff, accommodating as we arrived late so " breezed through" a great selection, loved the Pinot Noir and single vinyard Chardonnay also great to see the "alternate" choice of bottle for the "Vintage Sparkling Wine" location of cellar door is in industrial area of Cromwell but we drove past the vineyard to get a feel of the growing method.
M.Quartz Reef Wines tasting room may not have the outside glamour look of a vine yard but as they say: "do not judge a book by its cover". Very nice ambiance inside and a very welcoming passionate host. For me it where their bubbles or maybe more appropriate their Bendigo Estate Methode Traditionelle. Awesome! One bottle made it all the way back with us to Kuala Lumpur. Cheers.
E.Mike was a superb host. Enjoyed their wines and especially the Brut Traditional Method. Off the beaten track in an industrial park but well worth the visit.
A.We initially thought Quartz Reef winery was not much to look at. But gee were we wrong! They went above and beyond to give us an unbooked tour of their bottles and a tasting in their awesome Reidel glasses. And their sparkling is to die for. Do it!!!!
