C.was randomly told by a local about this liquor store and their amazing selection of gin (and everything really). My partner and I didnt need any alcohol but decided to stop by and check it out. The owner Sam (such a kind and knowledgable human) spent about 15 mins discussing all the different brands and options, where they are from and what accents you get from each bottle. After a few small tasters we walked out with 4 different kinds of gin.
Today my partner and I went back to pick up the whiskey my partner had tasted on our previous experience. Sam was in and spent 5 mins helping me find the perfect tonic (of which they have LOTS of selection), and even let me try a tonic to go with my aunties Scrapegrace Black.
Amazing service. Amazing Selection. I will always come back to Merchant Liquor Te Amawutu
