This was given to me as a gift on July 2021 but because covid we couldn't used it until now. I didn't know anything about flotation and for that reason I didn't know what to expect. I must say I was excited but with my expectations really low. Surprise, surprise.. it was wonderful. Thomas, at the reception, was really welcoming and friendly. He kindly explained to us the dynamic of the flotation session and answered all our questions. The time literally flew away! I bought an ultimate gift package to share the experience with my love ones. I would highly recommend this for anyone who want a bit of "me time". Spoil yourself! ❤️

Wonderful place to experience the serenity, stillness and deep listening of a float session. Float Culture have both pods and chambers so if you're concerned about claustrophobia, choose the chamber. It's a whole room! The staff are welcoming and engaging. There's even kava available to bring extra relaxation to your session. The massage therapists here are also excellent. I love Simone who works on Mondays.

Beautiful facilities making a wonderful experience! Floating has been very beneficial for my physical recovery when I fractured my knee to now just being sore and needing some quiet meditative time. Definitely recommend the kava before the float to help release stress!

Had the ultimate 60min float followed by a 45min massage today for a bit of me-time at Float Culture. Worth every cent. The float experience was awesome. Even had a kava beforehand which was unexpected but definitely welcome. Left the float, refreshed and super relaxed. Then had one of the best massages I've ever had. The young lady on the staff needs some customer service training. A bit cold welcome... However, she well-instructed me on the floating process. In the bath, I couldn't keep my body in the middle of the tub so I was constantly touching the edges. I did not like the music, too repetitive and too long, music without a piano would be better. Then after 10 min, the silence came (finally). The mind shuts down and I can immerse myself. It's really a wonderful spiritual and body experience. I would have appreciated a cup of tea after the bath for hydration

Enjoyed the floating and will definitely do it again or two or three. Amazing sensation and one should at least try it once. Great facilities and very friendly staff. Important to read up prior to turning up if your a first timer but you get another chance on the day. What really did it for me though is the massage and I'm definitely booking for more sessions with Kim. I've not had this style of massage for a very long time namely because I've not found anyone since. For me It's the ability and experience of that person to be able to listen to your body by feel.

I've been to a few different float places before and had fairly average experiences. My hopes weren't all that high with float culture. I honesty thought they'd be the same as the other. But I have to admit. I was absolutely blown away by these guys. Such an amazing experience with awesome facilities close to home for me and the staff are always super friendly and take an interest in me. This is the place to go!

Would thoroughly recommend this experience to someone. Initially the realisation I would have 45minutes without distraction floating in a pitch black bath was a bit terrifying to someone who likes to feel like they are being productive most moments of the day. However it was a very relaxing, comfortable experience that left me refreshed and calm. Float culture provided a professional, welcoming service, and clean and cosy facilities. Downside was limited parking and the lack of warning about this (although with some direction it wasn't hard to find some nearby street parking). I also did not see prior to my arrival that menstruating women should reschedule; fortunately this was not an issue.

So nice to float in the water especially at this time of the year when the sea is a little cool 😝 I normally fall asleep and wake up when the music starts playing again. I had a wonderful time at my first float! I parked on Boston road- no worries! I was greeted by Camilo who was great and explained everything to me. I had a cup of tea and watched an intro to floating video which made me feel super comfortable. The facilities are really nice and the products they have ecostore and Sukin fit in with the branding I really enjoyed my float and have already paid for a few more!

Our son gave us vouchers for Christmas and we used them this past weekend. The experience of "Floating" was an awesome experience and we highly recommend Float Culture to others in the area. For a first-time "floater" this was a great experience. I watched the video online before heading to Float Culture and that gave me a great insight into what to expect. When I got there, Chris was really helpful, putting me at ease and making the experience hassle-free. Once in the float tank, it took a little bit of time to adjust and to shut my mind "off". The sensation of weightlessness and complete comfort was amazing. It was blissful... that night I slept so well and soundly - I really wish I lived in Auckland so I could have had my second float this week....never mind it's something to look forward to.

this was an interesting experience, the place was clean, the facilities were nice & the staff were helpful. main dislike was that at the end of the session I expected the lights to be turned on in the pod - when I heard the music I felt around for the light and couldn't really find it so thought it would be fine to wait the five minutes, but instead the water started moving quickly and this was super frightening in the dark when you're not expecting it! so a note for anyone going to not wait when you hear the music haha

He was quite dubious and cynical; however from the moment we walked in the door we were warmly welcomed by professional staff and a lovely environment. I just had a float and massage combo. It was my first float, so it took a while to get into it, but that’s totally normal. The benefit of the relaxation was afterwards, when I felt totally and utterly blissed out. Then, to top it off, I had the 45-minute massage. I have had a lot of massages before but I can definitely say that Kim is the best I’ve ever experienced! She has magic hands and an incredible intuition for where needs the attention. Really great place to visit and go float yourself. Definitely worthwhile getting the 3 pack as it becomes cheaper per float. You also have better experiences the second and third times as it can be quite hard to shut off for the first time. Highly recommended for everyone. I try to go at the end of the week to help rid me of any stress I've carried over from work to ensure I have a relaxing weekend ... and it works! Reduce stress and get away from busy lifestyle at Float Culture. Amazing facilities, clean, always so friendly at the reception. Now I’m hitting the Kava Bowls before my sessions to get extra relaxed and vivid dreams :) Highly recommend to anyone including athletes, couples and any professionals wanting to get blissful relaxation. Amazing staff, deep experience and awesome kava

Was actually a powerful experience. I became aware of EVERY tight muscle, or irritable internal organ. I think I may have gained some control of things I don't normally, and improved my health. In addition, the day afterward my back has stopped aching. I did have some clear thought too, drawing on my intuition. Even had a brief visual flash. It's like floating in space, and also like just before you fall asleep. Staff were lovely, and the space is calming with nice moisturizers and stuff to use afterwards. Just use that vaseline, if you have irritable skin in any areas it will sting. Don't expect LSD or dreaming, expect more something like a deep, almost sleep that relaxes the body and the senses, and allows you to be creative/intuitive. And even if you have physical maladies, try to relax into it, that feedback on it's own can be valuable.

Hands down the most immaculate float center in Auckland. I've floated at various centers and FC is my go-to. The staff are very welcoming and will take you through their floating process so you can have the best experience from start to finish. Each room comes well-equipped with towels, soaps, and moisturizers, and you can choose between a floatation tank or room. To top it off, their rooms are themed to suit your choice of experience. And the water temperature perfectly matches body-temp, which is a big plus when it comes to floating. I always feel relaxed and ready for the next week of work after an hour here. Would highly recommend Float Culture to new and experienced floaters.

I've floated about 5 times now, and the last time I had the best nap of my life. I felt so warm and comfortable when I woke up that it took me a few moments to realise I was still floating! As I keep floating quite regularly, the floats get even better and easier. I relax easier, and I get more out of it. And the benefits extend beyond just the floating itself. I sleep even better after the floats, as I become more restful. I'm less stressed mentally and physically. All in all, it just makes me feel like a better, clearer me. Also Float Culture have super friendly staff, and a very relaxing waiting area. I especially love to have some relaxing tea and read for a bit before and after my float sessions.

A float session could be viewed as expensive, but when you look at what you get from the experience you will see that it is worth it! I'm not too experimental so I wasn't so keen on the idea but doing what couples do by compromising and all that, I bought him a float for his birthday and went along and did it with him.
