Z.This was my second time in a very long time having a soothing and extraordinary deep Thai massage. It was amazing. After the massage my back pain healed. The staff displayed an impeccable, friendly, professional service. The owner is kind and approachable and very welcoming. :-) Would definitely recommend them.
R.Loved coming here with my partner - calm greeting on entry, and the room had a soft ambience, such a treat to be tucked away from the city for an hour. Aroma massage was great, just the right amount of pressure and the therapist was attentive. Would definitely come back again!

A.My experience at Mai day Spa was absolutely splendid. After a warm welcome I was escorted down a beautiful hallway and accommodated into a private room. The entire area of the Mai Day Spa is clean and they are very mindful of personal hygiene. The ambience was very serene and peaceful . The therapist who looked after me that day was the lovely Amphan ( Amy) . She was professional but very warm at the same time. Finding that balance is crucial when one is in a customer facing role and I highly appreciate it. She made me feel safe and comfortable. For the next couple of hours I was lost ...to the earth realm as Amphan worked her magic and transported me to dreamland . Her massage techniques are amazing. She ensured that I was comfortable every step of the way. No wonder that particular service is called " THE LOST DAY" . It makes perfect sense. After my body was feeling ultra relaxed and I had baby soft skin , Amphan then went on to my facial. Unbelievably balancing gentle facial massaging moves and firm but relaxing shoulder and neck massage moves Amphan made my face soft and shiny and needless to say I was smelling divine by the end of my pampering session. This was by far one of my best day spa experiences. Anyone who is reading reviews with doubt in their mind , give this place a go and you shall be very happy you did. I am grateful to the team at Mai day spa for the work that they do and for showing up to help us relax in these trying times. Kudos to your entire team. I will definitely come back to you again and this time with friends and family. <3

Emailed them very last minute (9pm) hoping for a booking the next day (my birthday) and to my surprise they replied straight away and booked me for the amazing Winter Special (massage + facial + foot scrub). Very friendly team and the service was incredible. Perfect pressure (just like I requested), nice room and atmosphere. Very good value for an offer like that. Would definitely visit again when I'm in Auckland for another visit. Thank you very much

C.I really like this place, they actually listen to you when you want pressure to be adjusted. They are also very attentive making sure you are comfy and relaxed. It's great they have a couples room although I've done a friends outing and one with my mum so it's for anyone really. I only have a few critiques... they need slightly bigger robs for the larger gals and I really don't like when they push product they're selling afterwards. I get that they have to make money but it kind of ruins the relaxing mood and makes you feel awkward when you don't want to buy any. Maybe different questioning techniques need to be used by them to give you and easier way to decline. Edit: Though it has been awhile I remember the experience perfectly its always been on my mind but I forgot to do a review and Google reminded me. Mai Day is certainly better than most when it comes to product selling. Their methods might have improved even more since my last visit.
E.Have been coming here for the last 6 months and have to admit I love getting a monthly massage.
Decor is subtle and serene, the oils they use are pure and not greasy, it's a great location with parking and just a good experience when you need some time to yourself. Massage therapists are fantastic and you feel recharged.
d.Excellent massage that left me feeling 1000% relaxed. The house were the spa is located is a beautiful classic late 19th century townhouse. The essential oils used for the aroma were just the perfect pick. I also loved the music which had an atmospheric vibe to it. The owner herself is Thai and really nice but also super professional. I really enjoyed this place. One of he very best place I’ve been to around the world, and certainly in Auckland.
S.I'm here from Christchurch, travelled up by campervan, and I was desperately needing a good back massage. I selected the Lost Day service because of the body and scrub which was 150mins pure indulgence. My massage therapist was Apisama who is new to Mai Day Spa. I took a risk selecting her because she was the only one available today at 3pm. Apisama is an experienced thai massage therapist, she is incredible and I am so happy that I selected her. I must say..this Thai massage experience has been the best I've had in New Zealand since my last trip in Bangkok. 10/10 Highly recommended.
K.Went for a hot stone massage yesterday, it was lovely! I had a pinched nerve in my back and very tight shoulders and I am feeling so much better today, all my stress has melted away. I was most fortunate to have their newest member Chedsuda as my therapist, this young lady is absolutely amazing, a real asset to Mai Day Spa, we have already booked for next Saturday again.
