Went for the first time this week. Amazing experience: staff were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Fixed problems in my back I didn't even know I had. My masseus (an ex gym trainer) even went the extra mile and gave me suggestions on how I can avoid injury in future. Highly recommended.

very good friendly service, peaceful environment, pricing is not too bad compared to other places. every masseuse has been pretty good, using good techniques & strength in deep tissue massage.

Most amazing full body massage I've ever had, dont let the location or appearance deter you, because the experienced staff sure know what they are doing, immediately I felt welcomed and safe as well as my handbag & belongings with Katie, she is so genuinely kind & respectful. On arrival I thought oh no it's far too warm inside and I wondered how I would cope with being there for an hour, but once in my room with the fan circulating the temperature was perfect. I highly recommend and will definitely be going back. 😊👌

It was a great experience and the service was considerate. Very quiet environment, can let the body and mind relax. The massage therapist took the right amount of force and pinched it skillfully, which helped me relieve the stiffness of neck and shoulder. Thai foot massage is very novel and comfortable, let me unconsciously fell asleep. The massage is really relaxing and well worth the price.

Have been there a few times after changing my local massage place. The care given by the staff makes you feel that they try to give you the best massage they can. It's not rushed and very relaxing.

My lower back was engulfed by heavy pain when i woke up so a massage was pretty urgent. Immediately checked google review for massage recommendations and found this studio. Called to make an appointment immediately and by the next 15 mins I was already there. First Thai massage I have ever had so it worked like magic. The place is quiet and comfortable. The lady who did the massage is super friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back again.

First experience getting Thai massage and I loved it! My body has been under the pump with work trips and the gym (I've been poor with my recovery) so this was exactly what I needed. Relaxing, but also great stretches and twists. Will definitely be back!

Excellent quality of massage, really nice pressure and they were more then happy to make adjustments to accomodate when I was pregnant & breastfeeding. The cup of green or ginger tea at the end is a lovely touch. I will keep coming back and would recommend to anyone.

The massage really was fantastic, unfortunately the front room has nothing to insulate from the traffic noise outside and could also hear the lady at the reception desk listening to a radio or tv which impacted being able to fully relax.

Just had a lovely massage, was very stiff so went for the full body massage, and it was perfect. I would give 100 stars if I could! Told them I had lower back issue so they did it nicely for me , not too hard. Would highly recommend!!!!

Elise is an outstanding massage therapist. She has an amazing technique, strong hands and high attention to detail. I have walked through the door numerous times a broken person, but I always walk out feeling so much better after a massage with her. Today I had a massage with one of the new therapists, Tasha. She is also wonderful. I have had other massages from other therapists in Auckland, but these two women are definitely the best I've had hands down. I would not hesitate to recommend this business. Congratulations Elise, you have created something special.

Hands down best quality massage I have ever had in NZ - as authentic as a traditional Thai massage in Thailand. The facilities are clean and tidy and massagers are all very professional. I would highly recommend Massage Studio to anyone in Auckland, it is worth the drive!

Beautiful atmosphere inside the business, relaxing music, friendly, helpful staff. Normally do 30min massage at Malls, here I extended my massage out to 90mins it was so relaxing. Therapist knew where the tight spots were and I left fully rejuvenated and relaxed. Will go regular now have not experienced anything better.

The atmosphere is very peaceful with relaxing music in the background and Sita made sure I was comfortable. If your sore or just looking for a good place to get a massage stop by this spot! I’ve had loads of massages from various places, and I can tell the therapist from here are very experienced. Nice and firm, but not painful. Great combination of dry&oil massage and stretching. Reasonable price and free parking available. Just aware they only accept Etfos or cash, no paywave.

I came across this place a while back and have been a regular ever since! The massages are consistently great - I’ve never had a bad one here. Reasonable price, nice atmosphere, lovely people. Such a gem.

I live in whangarei and came down to visit family once lockdown reached level 2. My first 2 nights down here I woke with bad back pain especially in the lower region and also a crook neck, and by day 3 I was over it and googled and found massage studio. I've had massages before so I thought I had an idea on what to expect. I was instantly surprised however by how professional Katie was with just the right pressure and got into all the right places, I actually left feeling much better and relieved to not be dealing with a sore back anymore, which I cant say has ever really happend! Thank you so much Katie, you definitely went over and above for me so I will be back next time the pain strikes while I'm in akl again :)

I had the pleasure of a Thai massage at Hanako recently, my therapist was Khun Rose. I have worked and lived in Thailand for over 20 years and have had numerous Thai massages. To experience the same quality and expertise here in Auckland was quite a surprise. Was a fantastic experience, needless to say I am now a regularly customer!

Ahhhh!!!!Feeling so good and relaxed. I had head and shoulder massage for 60mins. Elise is AMAZING. She's got such a happy and friendly personality. Elise is the best in Thai massage. Now I'm thinking of taking my husband in the next visit because he's job requires physical lifting and he complains about stiffness neck and shoulder. I’m usually a bit of a wuss so wasn’t sure if I could get into Thai massage, but I’ve come to love it. Feels great to be enthusiastically worked over with a back massage, and my masseuse always asks if I’m doing ok which I appreciate. Has become my semi-regular

I am a regular now and can’t recommend it enough, because every time it has been incredible whether for pain relief of just de-stress and relaxation. Speaking from someone who has a fracture in my lower back and has paid thousands of dollars to chiropractors, physios and therapists only to find I can get similar treatment for excellent value here. Elise is uses authentic Thai technique but is also an amazing therapist and very intuitive. I have now referred two other people all with varying back or shoulder issues and all have said how amazing it was and always returned, sometimes from the other side of Auckland!

My only regret is getting the 30 min instead of the 60 min. Such polite, respectful, and caring women, and such a nice hard deep tissue massage. Hadn't tried Thai before but will definitely be back.

Excellent massage. Alyse is very friendly, speaks great English and has very strong hands. I’ve tried many places in the area, but she is now my first choice. Just don’t go on Saturday afternoon because that’s my day!
