Trish is a superb host. Genuinely friendly and helpful when you need her, blends into the background when you don’t. Felt very private in our Studio, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. Studios are nicely done, spa bathroom is especially lush, gardens and mountain view too! Stratford is a convenient location for the Dawson Falls visitor centre and walks, and New Plymouth. We will be back, probably for three nights next time, to fit in some spa treatments too. Pat & Hannah

Great stay.. and supurb massage! Great place to unwind especially after sumiting the mountain.

What a fabulous place for a girls weekend or special occasion. It really is a space of luxury with beautiful rooms with fantastic views and amazing massages / treatments not to mention the spa baths in each room! I cannot recommend Platinum lodge enough!! The owners Trish & Dave are very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I will be back for sure!

A lovely place to relax We were at a small wedding and everything was beautiful

My wife and I visited back in January. We traveled to a few places on the north island. This was, by far, the highlight of our trip. Beautiful rooms... and the bath... Wow! The owners were amazing, even helped us find our way up the mountain to visit Wilkie's Pools. We fell in love with the area and hope to, one day, move there.

We arrived on a cold spring night to a warm well thought out luxurious room. Extra large bed fine linen underfloor heating spa bath and bathroom that opens up to out side spectacular views delicious baking very private own entrance and car park delicious breakfast. We have stayed in a few places in New Plymouth but this beats them all hands down amazing. We paid $215 including breakfast and Trish had thought of all the little goodies. Thanks Dave &Trish

Thank you for the stay: with views like these I can't think of a better way to see the beauty of Taranaki. The accommodation is very modern, and the owners are very welcoming.

Couldn't be happier with our experience. Beautiful location and surrounding area. Had such a quiet and relaxing stay. Rod and Lynn made it just a little more special with their friendliness and extra touches. Big thumbs up!

Excellent experience. The real room is even better than photos. Very Morden facilities and pleasant staff. Room is tidy and well decorated also with snow Mountain view. We love here soooooo much

This is amazing. Beautifully presented room - views, privacy and only 30mins from new plymouth. A great romantic getaway with a beautiful dinner at the mountain house to add the extra touch. Restful, relaxing - a special naki surprise - wow.
