Although admittedly i needed to use a removal company at short notice and at the peak time of year, Grace was the only company of about 15 I contacted that had clear communication outlining their service and time estimates. From initially acknowledging my enquiry, I had a call within a hour and from then the lovely staff member couldn't have been more helpful in understanding my needs and putting together a quote. Once accepted all communication whether by email or phone was clear and precise. Staff moving my goods were early but thoroughly professional and I even got my items delivered earlier than expected, and in perfect condition. Terrific customer service throughout, and will absolutely be using them again when needed.

We moved from Auckland to Alexandra (central Otago), Grace came to our auckland home and packed up all our gear - the guys were amazing, very friendly, so respectful of us and our stuff , nothing was too much hassle. They made what could have been a very stressful situation, so easy and relaxed. then we got to Alexandra and our container was delivered and unpacked by a couple of great guys from the Christchurch crew, happy, friendly blokes, who had a good laugh with us and again were very respectful of us and our stuff. we unpacked over the next couple of days, nothing - NOT A THING, was broken, i was amazed, the Auckland crew wrapped everything so well. And they will come and take all the packaging away too!! I can't thank Grace's team enough for making it a seamless process, awesome staff, so friendly and helpful and so very respectful. thanks guys, i'd definitely recommend you guys to everybody

Right from my google search, to the immediate response I got back, to the fantastic customer service from Debs and the great job the guys did on moving day, we are highly impressed with Grace Removals and have already recommended them to my friends and family - one of whom has booked Grace Removals already for their house move. Moving towns is never easy but Grace Removals did a great job. Turned up on time packed our belongings carefully and delivered them on time the next day.

Our experience with Grace Removals was really good; the person I was dealing with was awesome. The Auckland team who packed the furniture was good and the Christchurch team who delivered the furniture was absolutely brilliant There are only a couple of things I would address: 1. There was one team member in Auckland - unfortunately, I overheard them talking to their team mate saying, "this is not our job" and I am not sure what they meant by that - I had asked a couple of times if there was anything Grace Removals wanted me to do before they came to pack and I was advised I didn't need to do anything so I left everything as is. Had I known, there were some things I needed to prepare beforehand I would have done it. 2. The labels on the boxes were not correct - it is not a big deal at all but it just becomes easier if the boxes are labelled correctly. I would certainly use Grace Removals again and would recommend to family and friends too.

Grace removals did a stellar job with prepping, loading and transporting our furniture and boxed items. Their service was professional and friendly, and they visited us weeks prior to the move to understand what our requirements were and to assess the quantity of things that needed to be moved. They delivered the packing materials in advance to allow us time to pack. They worked with our schedule and were very flexible in accommodating our needs. I would certainly recommend Grace removals, and will use them again in future.

We had a lot of hick-ups to start with (not firmly booked in even though we had written confirmation, missing add-ons, wrong timings), but everyone made sure the problems were solved and we were happy. They even send our belonging down via truck instead of the booked ship to make sure everything was there on time. We packed ourselves, and the pick-up crews, both in Auckland and Christchurch, were amazing. Nothing got damaged and they were super friendly and accommodating. An overall great experience - we would use Grace again!

We asked Grace Removals to take care of our move from The Gardens to Clarks Beach. They were very professional, super organised and made such a stressful time so much easier. They cost a little more than some places, however, I chose them as we had used them before and they offer more extra's, like covering all furniture, doing a zoom pre-inspection report and inventory during lockdown etc. They were super efficient and professional throughout. Would definitely recommend them and I think the price is well worth it.

They had great communication from the Sales process through to the actual day of the move. Good value for money and I dealt with good people both the drivers and the Admin teams. Cheers

We can't recommend Grace Removals highly enough! We sold our Sydney home in Feb, but with COVID, we couldn't leave until late June. Grace Removals Sydney were so flexible, it was no drama changing our days. The guys that end were great. Turned up on time, packed professionally, and communicated well. We flew to Auckland., into isolation, then to temporary accomodation. Our container arrived within 5 weeks. We paid very reasonable fees to store our goods until we found permanent accomodation 3 months later. Grace Removals Auckland were very responsive when we booked our delivery. Jerome and his off sider ( sorry, I have forgotten his name) were punctual, respectful of our new home, and were just great guys. We also love they will come back and pick up all the packaging. To summarise, our goods were packed, shipped and unpacked, and nothing is damaged.

Exceptional service from initial contact, walk through video, removal day itself and unloading. Great phone and email communication. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Scheduling, pickup and delivery was done in great time frames. All items were cared for so well, everything arrived unharmed.

Great company to work with. I’ve used Grace twice now, once when our stuff was shipped from UK to NZ and recently when we moved to a new house. They are responsive over the phone and understand both your concerns and requirements. The actual removal team are second to none, friendly, considerate and they take good care of your belongings. I would have no reservation in recommending them to anyone who needs a good, reliable, efficient moving company.

We had an awesome experience with Grace Removals from end to end. Can't fault anything at all. The assessment, the proposal, the quote, the quality of packing, the pick up, loading, delivery and the care in which our goods were handled was superb. The guys in Auckland and Christchurch were professional and friendly. Nothing was a problem for them. If you are considering using a removal company - give the team at Grace Removals a call first.

Consultant was excellent price to move reasonable for few things I had ti move ,day of pickup day of move,went smoothly, then delivery date delayed by a few days due carrier bringing it from.auck to chch - then time and date of deliver to be at my sons place to store for a wk 10am thurs 3rd dec waited 2.5hrs no delivery contact auck told now 4th dec late afternoon waited no delivery at my.son place ,got a call fri evening to say delivery sat not suitable as my.son not avail set time for mon 9am ,mon got a call to say delivery put forward to 10am for reasons , mon 10.19am no delivery called chc delivery company told soon.they would arrive soon turned up at 11am at my sons place on.unlosding truck found box someone dropped my.pictures in not packed correctly 3 damaged disappointed all else delivered appeared ok but I will check when I unpack nxt week. One hope's when they move all to go smoothly less stressful pickup and delivery and no breakages glad I took insurance on.my possessions during transit . Thanku to the Consultant management Auckland were all helpful to try to resolve things for me on.delivery time.

I definitely recommend Grace. The people I spoke to on the phone were very good at coming back to me with a quote including a rundown of the process that is involved with a move from Auckland to Christchurch. I felt well informed, and secure in knowing our things would be kept safe as they wrapped furnishings properly. We had a minor incident with our slow cooker being damaged, but the insurance claim we put in was dealt with quickly, making what could have been a headache, actually a really easy process. I'm so glad I picked this company. I had looked at a variety of different moving companies and Grace seemed the best quality at a cost effective price. I was especially grateful they could book us in without a lot of prior notice. We were then able to shift our stuff on the day we needed to and the wait time for things to arrive in Christchurch was less than expected.

Grace Relocation were excellent in their work. My move from Auckland to Wellington was very well organised. Each person that I have interacted with was professional, friendly and genuine. Great care was taken by all. I will akways use them for relocation and recommend to my friends. Matthew Raines was genuine and hardworking person. He answered all questions and queries. My husband and I recently had to move from Auckland to Hamilton on very short notice (11 days) and decided on Grace Removals, because not only did they quote at least $700 less than the other companies, but they were also able to upload and deliver on the same day. The short notice was also not a problem for them. A very friendly lady called Carolyn were able to arrange the move for us in 11 days and were always available to answer questions or address our concerns. On the day of the move Joe, Steve and Paul turned up exactly on time and loaded our furniture with great care, speed and efficiency. They had no problems negotiating a difficult entrance and narrow staircase at the new place and did it all without any damages to the furniture, walls or carpets. We have had many moves in the past with my husband’s job, but this is the first time the move went smoothly without any damages or losses. The guys were very friendly and took great care in handling our furniture. Thank you Grace Removals, especially Carolyn, Paul, Joe and Steve and for the caring way you dealt with us and our stuff! We will definitely use you again in future and recommend you to anyone who needs to move.

We have dealt with Grace and were very pleased with the experience. Our consultant was Matthew Haines and I was impressed with the level of detail and excellence that Grace provides. It was the small touches from valet service, crating our expensive artwork to the unpack with valet service. Matthew was very professional to deal with and he always kept me up to date with progress and advancements. Grace was more expensive but definitely worth the peace of mind with moving our entire life over the ditch!

This company was good, unlike the other companies everything stays on the container until you get it. The other companies told us they would have to transfer our stuff from one truck to another, which could mean your stuff could get broken in the transfer. Grace packs it in a container and that container gets put on a train to your destination and you received it as they packed it, which is great. The moving guys were awesome, very friendly and helpful. They even assembled our furniture. The only hang up was the communication, no one kept in contact and let us know what was going on until we called them.

Very pleased with the whole move. Great team on the packing. EVERYTHING arrived in perfect condition. Exactly when it all should, too. Super communication through the whole process too. Thank you to all involved. It really did remove a lot of stress for us.

Thank you for such a prompt efficient move Grace Removals when you shifted us from our old house into our new apartment. The staff were prompt and very pleasant and made the move a breeze. It was very stressful and "our" three strong guys made the experience more palatable. We will highly recommend you to anyone moving house, and we are just delighted we will never have to make such a huge shift again!!

Grace were real easy to deal with. Caroline came to my home to sort out a quote and organise all the details. I appreciated that in this day when everything seems to be done online. She was very thorough. On the day of the move they were really prompt and had my whole house packed up an hour earlier than anticipated. I took out the transit insurance with them as my incurance company didn't cover dropages. Although it wasn't cheap (over $400 for the mornings removal) there was no excess which made it easy when I had one breakage. The door on my china cabinet came of.) They allowed me to get my repairer of chose which meant that i was able to get someone that I trusted to do what I knew would be a tricky job as some of the chip board had broken away when the door fell off. It also meant that I didn't have to send the whole unit of furniture away to get repaired which was the other option. Another thing that they did that helped to simplify my packing was to supply special boxes to pack up the clothes in my wardrobe. The clothes could stay on the coathangers so that meant just hanging them up at the other end. Then they took the boxes back so that I didn't have to dispose of them and so that they could be used again thus helping to save the environment. I would certainly recommend Grace Removal to anyone moving house.

We had high expectations from Grace but I feel we were ultimately let down by a lack of staffing resource. They sent insufficient packing staff & packing materials which led to a rushed & sometimes careless move. However I can say the team were very polite & arrived on time. They worked long hours but did not take the care we would have liked.

The whole process was so easy-from getting a professional quote, to the communication prior to the day. Over the two days we had Grace, Rob and his team worked so hard and efficiently to get the job done....this was in the midst of a torrential downpour! We definitely recommend Grace Removals!

In February i had Pale, Fred, Luke, Bob moving 2 story, 3 bedroom house and a garage with few really heavy pieces. The driveway was very steep, so they had to use shuttle van to get them to the van. The worked tirelessly until finished. No coffee or cigarette breaks, instead cheerful and fun to be around team of professionals. Highly recommended.

Packing was timely and went very well although it was underestimated. Unpacking wasn’t as good with many boxes not placed in the designated room.
