The guys who packed up our stuff were so lovely. By the time they had finished they felt like family. The truck driver and the crew who packed the truck were meticulous and everything arrived at our new address in excellent condition. The crew who unpacked the truck were very pleasant, professional and obliging. All round, it has been a very satisfactory experience. This is the fourth time we have used NZ Movers and they have not let us down.

I think NZ Movers did their very best for us at a very difficult time. Rav was very professional and responsive and helped with all the paperwork required for our Australian move. The packers, especially Clive, did a great job and we were very impressed with the care they took over every article. The goods arrived yesterday and again we found Wes and his helper very helpful and cheerfully made sure our goods went where we wanted in some pretty difficult places. We would certainly recommend NZ Movers to anyone moving overseas. Thank You Ian and Galina Cameron.

All round NZ Movers did a fantastic job. We moved from Auckland to Nelson in the middle of Covid. They had reduced staff and additional constraints all of which were beyond their control. Through it all they still remained professional and communicated well. Thanks for a job well done.

Rav was very easy to deal with. She helped make our move as stressless as a move can be. We even had to change the date to start the packing and that was not a problem. Dee Jay was our head packer. For such a young one, he was very efficient and hard working. I would highly recommend NZ Movers.

We chose New Zealand Movers Auckland after reading the reviews on the internet. It did not disappoint and we are extremely grateful to have them as our movers to relocate from Hobsonville, Auckland to Rolleston in Christchurch. Tracy was always incredibly responsive and lovely. Had a much better experience with NZ Movers than I have had with other 'larger' companies.

The team from NZ Movers were awesome, they were so efficient and took great care with all of my packing. The team were friendly, polite and you could tell were experts in what they were doing. Nothing was any trouble and they made the packing and moving into storage so easy! Communication from start to finish was clear, prompt and helpful. I would recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future.

New Zealand Movers did an excellent job packing and moving my belongings from Auckland to Christchurch and I would highly recommend them. Matthew, the sales consultant was friendly, easy-going and helpful from the outset. Thanks Matthew. I can't speak highly enough of Dave, Rob, and Ma'a who did the packing. Now, several months later, I'm unpacking and feel hugely appreciative of the care they took in packing everything, right down to the smallest, most insignificant item. Sincere thanks guys, you're my heroes. Many thanks too to the driver of the truck who transported the container safely. The unpacking in Christchurch was punctual, speedy and efficient and the team there has been acknowledged in another review. Overall a very positive experience.

Overall a very smooth operation and excellent service. Both the team that loaded truck in Auckland and unloaded it in North Canterbury were excellent. Very friendly and helpful and we had the truck unloaded in under 90 minutes. They took time to ensure that all the boxes were accounted for and all were marked off. We appreciated their assistance with removing the wrapping material around our whiteware and beds and taking it with them. Once unpacked your team came within 24 hours of contacting them to collect the empty boxes and wrapping paper.

NZ Movers were great. Excellent work packing our items which needed extra care as well as our general belongings. Jason, Robbie & team were on time, efficient & thorough. We have not moved house before & they handled everything & exceeded expectation with each step of the process. Really happy with how smooth & painless it was, from the quick quote turnaround, right through to final delivery & unpack - most appreciated!

We were very happy to use NZ Movers in our shift from Orewa to Kerikeri, The shift went like clockwork, from the quote to the actual move into our new property. The movers were hard working, pleasant and professional. We highly recommend NZ Movers and are happy to say we had no breakages or damage.

We were very happy with our experience with NZ Movers when moving some household furniture and whiteware items from Auckland to Christchurch. From the quotes we got, NZ movers were the most competitive. The quoting process was easy and quick. We were impressed with how well everything was packaged and thoroughly documented. The delivery was speedy and without delays. I would definitely use them again. The only small complaint would be that the staff smoked just outside the house with the doors wide open on one occasion during the uplift of goods. I am heavily pregnant and would have appreciated the curtesy of not having to smell the smoke when sitting inside. They did a great job of wrapping everything, however.

If you are looking for a professional moving company who really know their stuff then NZ Movers is worth a look. Matthew came and gave us a quote which turned out to be very accurate so there were no surprises with the bill. We were supplied with all the new wrapping materials and boxes needed several weeks prior to the move. We were able to start packing gradually so that was a great help. The wrapping crew arrived the day before the move and they spent the day preparing all the large furniture items and delicate pictures with what they call an export wrap. This took almost an entire day. All our furniture arrived safely and without tears or nicks thanks to the care taken here on wrapping day. The moving team arrived promptly on the move out day and they expertly packed the truck knowing which items needed to come off first and last. One aspect I liked was they always keep one member of crew for the whole move. This meant they could keep the flow going with different crews called as need be over the three days. The teams were friendly, cheerful, polite, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They arrived at our new destination in Cambridge the next morning by 9am, and had started unloading the outdoor furniture before we had even arrived feeling slightly worse for wear holding our double shot coffees in hand. These guys had huge energy and they inspired us to keep on going. They took away any unwanted packaging materials for recycling. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing to move within or between cities.

We used NZ Movers for our last shift. My husband and I were most impressed with Matthew Haines' professionalism and amicability. Firstly, he dealt with our query promptly When we faced an unforeseen situation on the day of the move, he was able to provide practical solutions and everything transitioned smoothly. Following this. Matthew went beyond the call of duty to provide excellent after-sales service. We want to say a huge thank you, Matthew.

Crystal, John and Robbie were amazing. So respectful of my stuff. I was flat packing my couch - the last thing I needed to do before they arrived and they helped me to do that. So professional, friendly and efficient. They were careful and kind with my cat who I locked in the bedroom and let out before they left. The whole process has been great. From the initial enquiry, to the house visit, the quote and the removal team. I would totally recommend their services to any other customer!

Outstanding service. Right from the start these guys turned up on time, they were polite and respectful of our neighbours and the access to our property. Lesi and his team took charge and had everything 100% covered, right from protecting the grass verge at the front of our house, bagging the mattresses and even reminding me to take a break and keep hydrated . Unloading was just as smooth, the guys even tied back the trees so the truck didn't break any of the branches off. We just moved to Whangarei area and we use New Zealand Movers. John and his team were great, they couldn't of been more helpful and we would hire them again in a heartbeat, as they made the move easy when it is quite a stressful time. Great Professional Service!! We moved from Auckland to Cromwell, Central Otago. Mat Sutherland was a great help and eased any fears we had. I had two quotes and they came in as the cheaper of the two!! The communication was Tip Top! Nigel Sutherland co-ordinating the AKL move with his team of movers Tom, Ula and Tulolo. All of them professional and easy to work with to ensure a successful move South. Everything was wrapped amazingly well with everything received and nothing broken or damaged. Jamie and his co-worker moved us in to our place in Cromwell, again professional and friendly. Overall I was highly satisfied with the service and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Matthew Haines represents this company very well. Very professional, explains everything in detail, always there to help. The Moving Team (both Auckland & Christchurch) are equally commendable - gracious, professional, helpful. Highly recommended to everyone who needs a moving service. Topnotch team!

Couldn't speak more highly of NZ Movers - from our very friendly initial contact - Greig Williamson, who promptly organised a sales rep - Mathew to come out and evaluate how long the pack up would take; what items should be antique wrapped to protect them; as well as point out several things we hadn't thought of. The 3 men who arrived to do the actual job were wonderful - both Greig and Claude (one of the packers) rang the day before to advise the timing - they arrived promptly and went straight to work - nothing was too much trouble and everything ran like clockwork - Thank you Claude Senior, Claude Junior and Hemi. Kendra, in the office, answered endless emails and helped with several queries, very patiently - the process that I had been dreading went seamlessly and without a hitch.

On my recent return to NZ I entrusted my goods and chattels to NZ Movers. The whole process was seamless and even when there were hold ups with customs, (following Christchurch event) the communication was excellent.

We recently moved from Hong Kong to New Zealand. NZ Van Lines provided excellent service from start to finish. I had an excellent service from this company and the staff who all involved this delivery. I was expecting some damages when they deliver our furniture including a grand piano. But they all handled so carefully and there were no damages at all, although I had bought a quite expensive insurances. I just wanted to thank NZ Van Lines for the excellent service we've received for our move from Auckland to Brisbane. New Zealand Van Lines were fantastic. We shipped our furniture and personal items from New York to Auckland and found the service far superior to anything being offered domestically in America. Our goods were packed by a friendly, professional and flexible team who were more than happy to answer my questions (as I was quite concerned to make sure our items were well looked after and understand the process). Matthew Woodley at New Zealand Van Lines was our point of contact and was extremely helpful and available at all times. This is especially important as I had heard a number of horror stories about other firms being extremely available up until the point of collection and then disappearing once invoices were paid. This is particularly prevalent in "cheaper" domestic firms. The other thing I really appreciated was the ability to derive certainty of costs. I spent a lot of time researching other providers and found very opaque fee structures. So when their headline prices appeared cheaper it became very clear there were hidden costs that were to be added on. Once your things have been collected you essentially have no choice on this so full disclosure on costs is important. Overall, very happy with New Zealand Van Lines and Paramount, the American Agent. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting their valuable items shipped

Everything they told us was how it happend. From nz begin to queensland. There was no nasty surprises when we arrived. Money and charges were exactly what we were told before we left nz. NZ Van Lines helped us move from London to NZ in September 2011 - they were fantastic and very prompt in their service meeting all of our needs in a professional manner. Would absolutely recommend them in the future if you are looking for reliable logistic services.

NZ Van Lines is hands down the best moving company around. We've used some of those big international companies, but most of the time their service is terrible - queries shunted around from this person to that department, assigned a client number, etc etc. At Van Lines the service is personal; from the staff in the office to the packers and loaders - everyone is great to deal with. When unloading, the guys don't rush and stress you out while trying to locate box numbers. We've moved countries several times and have used Van Lines 4 times in 12 years - each time, many of the same staff are still there; which says to me something about the values of the company (looks after their staff, looks after their customers).

My partner and I moved from Auckland to Palmerston North about a week ago and the experience with NZ van lines was great...With the guys in Auckland to the guys in Palmerston North it made our move stressless...I would recommend this company for sure...

My furniture etc was shipped from South Africa. It was cleared by customs and then placed in storage with New Zealand Van Lines on 23 June 2017. They had been recommended by my mover in S.A. On 9 March 2018, my goods were delivered to my new accommodation. My entire experience with New Zealand Van Lines was professional, friendly, efficient and definitely stress-free for me. I have already recommended them to friends who are about to make the same move from South Africa.

How to describe the moving experience with New Zealand Van Lines...I am not sure there are enough positive adjectives. Mark and Mike were punctual, efficient, friendly, and fast. Even when the idiots in our building did not reserve the elevators and in general hindered our move in any way possible they remained calm and just continued working. When I completely underestimated the amount of "stuff" we had Jason, Mark, and Mike did not panic and arranged additional transport. They also protected the furniture extremely well more so than anyone else I have moved with (have moved a lot!). I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a move. PS Darren who helped on the second day also did an extremely good job.

I waited for a month for NZ VanLines to deliver some goods to me that had arrived from the UK and lots of phone calls and emails. In the end however they went out of their way to deliver it to Waiheke Island

After using NZ Vanlines many years ago to pack up our house in NZ, put things into storage and shipping when we went overseas, it was an easy discussion to use them again when we decided to move to Ireland to build a holiday house. We have shipped a house lot over this time, unfortunately two critical items for our building project got broken. I have been impressed with how this has been dealt with by NZVanlines and their insurance company. Joanna at the insurance company has been A+++ with how she has managed our claim ... very professional, very customer focused and prompt in processing the claim. Fantastic. NZ Vanlines has been excellent in helping getting replacement goods reshipped to Ireland. Thanks Sandra for all your help and professionalism.

Your Auckland based team recently packed and moved all my household belongings to Nelson. I can't speak highly enough of the team that came. Arli did the majority of the packing - outstanding job and then when the container arrived three more were there to assist. All very professional and a pleasure to have in my home. The Nelson team who unloaded it at my new home were equally good and certainly made my life easier when they helped with the unwrapping of the soft furnishings.
