B. T.It is an excellent adventure park with an easy and challenging track—the hard track is just as you enter the village car park. We had to go back the next day because there were no signs of it. The easy park is past the cafe and hire bikes, etc. The view from the hard track was spectacular. It is a great workout.

P. A.What a great place to visit. We are both seniors and we did the zip line tour. Short easy walks between each ‘flight’. Our guides Alisha and Jamie were friendly, fun, ‘fit’, and professional with safety at the forefront. This was a fun, easy thing to do.

C.Walked up from the car park to the top of the chair lift it was a good challenging climb with spectacular views on the way up and at the top From there you see across to the city one way then down to Diamond Harbour on the other side. Took the chair lift back down the mountain. A very enjoyable morning. The chairlift with alternating lifts for people and bikes was well used
D. 0.Had fun doing the 4 zipline tour. Took about 2 and bit hours. Jaime and Paul were fantastic guides and the day was beautiful. I would recommend it and it was short walks in between each ziplines.

S. M.My son and I had a three-hour private lesson with Ben. He was excellent and really improved our riding in a short amount of time. The rental gear was all very high quality, and they have so many trails to choose from. We will be back!

R. G.Ziplining was FANTASIC! Great knowledgeable guides, Sam and Lachy 😉 well worth the money. Also got the gopro footage and can't wait to view it.
The 3rd zipline was great with the highest zipline at 164m and then the best experience was the Longest at 1.1km and high speed.
D. H.The uphill trail took us about 2 hours. Few sections were steep but generally manageable for a 28 year old city girl who barely hikes. Awesome views from where we took the chairlift. If you hike up, you get to take the chairlift down for free :)
S. E.What a wonderful asset to Christchurch. We went up on the chair lift. Amazing views! Then went for a 30 min walk, followed by a nice cool ginger beer in their cafe. Lots of people using the bike tracks. Just loved it. Next time we might get the courage up and go on the zip lines. Reccomend for a fun couple of hours.

M. C.We did the full guided tour and couldn’t fault it. Our guides Rosco, Paul and Ruby were extremely friendly and fantastic, with all of them willing to share their knowledge. They were very engaging and helpful and made the tour super enjoyable. The views were amazing and the zip lines themselves were heaps of fun and definitely worth the money spent!

Fantastic experience. A detailed explanation of what we were going to do was followed by a very comprehensive safety talk. A seat harness was carefully fitted adjusted and checked before taking the chairlift to the top. Spectacular views out over Christchurch and Lyttelton Harbour. There are no toilets at the top of the chairlift.
There is a cafe at the bottom of the hill with a large range of cabinet food and burgers and fries. Coffee, Smoothies and cold drinks. Toilets are available here and there is plenty of parking. Very busy place and loads of MTB'ers.
J. C.A truly beautiful setting... When you get on the chairlift and enjoy the view, you realise just how unique the place is and then you get to ride through it all on the way back.

J. T.My girlfriend and I had Chris and another girls name who we unfortunately forgot as our guides. They made the experience really fun and enjoyable. They gave clear instructions but made the session super fun! We did the long zip line which was awesome and super safe! The facilities were also great and clean and had many things to do. We highly recommend doing this if your in the area only takes 1-2 hours.
L. P.My sister and I went on the zipline tour which included all 4 lines. It was amazing. Not only the exhilarating lines down but the two guides Sophie & Rosco who were brilliantly entertaining and informative. It was an experience I definitely want to do again & will the next time I am here.
m.Amazing adventure park. It mostly has a ton of trails for mountain biking as well as classes and even a free bike pump station.
The uphill hike is a good walk with great views and a free chairlift down! It was wonderful to take in the views after a long hike up (1 hour and 45 mins, all uphill :0). The track is a little steep but well formed, and nice on a cloudy day as it isn't very shaded. It would be quite slippery when wet so be careful.
The cafe is in a nice spot, very peaceful to sit there and enjoy a drink
Bathrooms are clean and nice
Overall would come again just for the chairlift!
R. J.Truly love this place. We were only able to do the chair lift as we couldn't get a booking for the zipline. We went here while on a cruise to NZL. I will definitely plan another trip to NZL just to go here. The views and the feel of the mountains is truly amazing.
O. R.We went to the park specifically for mountain biking.
The way the trails are built is that most of them all start midway down the chairlift and there is only one way to get down there so when it is busy, it is quite uncomfortable with too many people bombing down.
Navigating the park for the first time was not easy - the trails are numbered only on the big map and not on individual signs so best to remember them by names and not by numbers.
Lots of trails are super rough and broken down, not sure if it is the outcome of the very dry weather or lack of maintenance or both.
We were there on Easter weekend and it was quite busy.

It was very fun and great experience for me and my daughter though it was very foggy, like zero visibility and felt like we were in a final destination movie😂 it was still amazing. A great activity to do on a school holidays. We will defo do it again, but next time it will be summer to get a good view!

P. C.This is an awesome place to visit...even if your not biking. Fun to watch others from the balcony of the cafe. For the more adventurous you can walk up to the top of the chairlift and hitch a free ride back down, highly recommend.

My forks were a little harsh but that's the only complaint I could come up with . I'm back again the next day . Gota be good 👍

H. B.I visited this place on my birthday 12 January 2020 with my two friends. We enjoyed a lot we did cycling. It was really fun day, we are not professional mountain bikers, but we enjoyed it. The views are really awesome on chairlifts because this is in Newzealand also we eat food there was good. Big parking lots. I miss this place so much now,I will visit this place when ever I came back to NZ.

This experience was the best with such lovely views, our host were informative on all information we needed and were actually quite funny and made the experience that little bit better, this is a must do please don’t think twice when booking( 4 zip lines), from booking online through Viator to checking in at the kiosk desk everything was smooth sailing, couldn’t find one fault! K. S.Went up the chairlift, very windy and cold but we came prepared with big jackets. Cost $65 for our whole family of 6 incl nana as under 10s are free. Superb views and enjoyed watching the zip liners and mountain bikers head off. Had some good hot pizza in the cafe at the end, which arrived quickly and cost $23.

Smaller size children is better to have legs in between the bar. It looks quite dangerous when up there. Also to strap your cap tighter, could be windy , i lost a cap otw up.
The fairy house hunt is a fun experience for the children.

D. G.We took two kids 6 and 10 up the hiking trail to get a free chairlift ride down. Was a slow and steady walk up. Lots of sprawling views. In hindsight, this walk is best done early in the day when the sun isn't too hot 🥵😉. Took us about 2hrs with lots of stops and maybe a little meltdown... Fun ride down on the chairlift, and a delicious late lunch at the cafe 👍

If you are planning on going as a sightseer I strongly reccommend not going on the weekend.
We found the lack of safe zones for walking from furtherest carparks to ticket office and returning to carpark quite dangerous as the mountain bikers just went where ever they wanted and at high speeds.

N.Had a great time today ziplining 150 metres up and flying down a 1.1 km zipline so much fun and when your finished stop by the restaurant for a beer or a burger I got the chicken burger and it was better than most fancy restaurants and the chips were very nice and crispy only down side is they use the cheep tomato sauce lol great way to spend a day highly recommend

G. A.Such an amazing little oasis. My prior conception of the park was that it would be way more macho but there were people of all ages and abilities weaving through the complex. Look forward to seeing the cafe and facilities soon. Our kids loved the little kids track.

So much fun! We were a family of 4. Can't say enough great things about this place.
B. R.I did the Zipline tour, really good value for money with four ziplines included in the price. When you compare it to other Ziplines, that are smaller and slower it's a bargain.
Good guides who do a fantastic job and take safely first, constantly checking and double checking your harness.
I like that they have tried to limit their disturbance of the forest, the only concrete is on the bases on the supports, all the landing pads are compacted rocks.
Nice cafe with a decent range of food at a good price.
The only downside was that the online booking wasn't working for the zipline, I was lucky it was a quite day, I wouldn't want to risk it once this place becomes more popular. A few benches at the zipline waiting areas would be welcome also.

Trails there for all levels well maintained and ready for you riding pleasure. If I was in town longer I would be going frequently.

A. K.We went sightseeing today and the weather and view was lovely. We were lucky to be on two for one Tuesday. The only downside is not enough instructions and signs for those who want to go back walking down the hill especially at the end of the track.
M. T.Great views and not too much of a strenuous walk. A nice and balanced track between hills and flat areas, especially on a sunny day. Look over to Governor's bay and Quail Island. Peaceful and scenic chair lift on the way down is free is you walk up, and watch out for lots of cyclists riding up and down the tracks. Lovely cafe at the bottom with lots of delicious and healthy foods such as salmon/pork belly/vegan bowls that are perfect portion sizes.

It is a must visit place for people who are into adventures especially the mountain biking lovers. A chair lift is available for people to enjoy their rides to the fullest.
The place is marvelous and after an enjoyfull time with the nature the food in the Christchurch Adventure Park restaurant is superb! It is very affordable and fullfilling. Big thumbs up.
After successfully finishing different trails, you will find yourself exhausted and hungry. This place serves wide variety of good tasting foods from pizzas to burgers and they also offer vegetarian meals which is really nice touch that I appreciate whenever I eat in a restaurant. In addition, relaxing ambiance and spacious floor gives the customer a welcoming vibe and a very homie feeling.

J. C.110% amazing ziplining experience! The staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable. I convinced my Mum to come along and she was curious re safety and they put all her worries to bed. An experience that you definitely need to put on the list time and time again. Would definitely recommend!

Staff is great, attractions are fun, but that's not why I'm here writing this review. This pizza did it.
This is the Charizard of pizzas. You will never find anything cooler, powerful, and delicious. I thought I'd get standard paper thin crust pizza that hasn't known love. Boy was I wrong.
Highly recommend the pepperoni pizza to everyone regardless of interest in biking or ziplines.
Come get this pizza.
E.We went up just to sight see and it was awesome. The biking and ziplining looked awesome, after seeing them all we wished we had more time there to do that too!

J. R.Thankfully the buzzer is gone. Order your meal and it comes to you. You don't have to pick it up yourself. Great coffee great meals. Go during the week if you can. The weekend can be unbelievably busy.

The ziplines were amazing! We were luckly that we had the beautiful weather, so had the amazing view as well. If you love a thrill, try this zipline tour!

A. G.Love the tracks. Love the up lifts.... But it's never open when I visit Christchurch. I have only managed to ride 2/5 visits. Weather was always good on the day but so many different excuses as to why it was shut.

We got the hire GoPro and it was well worth the cost as a great memento for family of our exciting rides. Special mention of Mike, their graphic design man who edits all the videos down to 1 and had the video in our inbox just 3 hrs later
E. B.Love this place! Awesome courses for beginners through to advanced level, plus bike and gear rental. Definitely recommend renting one of their fat tyred bikes if you're a beginner, they're much more stable.

S. G.I had a really fun experience zip lining for the first time. The tour operators were great, it felt totally safe the whole time, and it was just lots of fun. I had a great bunch of people I zipped line with. Definitely thrilling, and you get some nice views over Christchurch.
L.Just used the chairlift up there for the view, but it was well worth it. There's also a walking track up, and once you're up, you can use the lift down for free :)
The mountain bike tracks looked really nice as well!

Very friendly and you could have a great laugh with them. They were energetic and made the whole experience so much fun. The Team in reception were lovely to talk to as well when booking in. Food was great at the café and all staff there were lovely as well. Partner and I are zip line/high ropes fanatics and we will definitely come back here because of how amazing our experiences was with the whole day at the park. Amazing work team, love your vibes and thank you for making this an amazing experience for my partner and I, could not ask for a better time at the park and have absolutely nothing to fault! :) :) :)

K. L.Delicious food, we came for the Friday Burger Deal and each had one of the 3 burgers with chips. The vegetarian one was delicious - nice and juicy like a regular meaty burger. More dairy free dessert options would be my only ask.
The staff were all nice, helpful and friendly. I loved the sustainable touches like the beer tap handles that looked like they were made from old tennis or badminton racquet handles and the recycled flooring that brought me back to my teenage badminton in the local community hall days. Thank you for all your great sustainable work CAP! 💚
