A.Photos include the adjacent Victoria Square. Beautiful park with statues, fountains, weeping willows and flowers.
M.The floral clock is really a great landmark in Christchurch. Liquifucation of the soil made it look like a grey sandpit due to the bubbling up sandy grit during the Feb 22 2011 earthquake.
After much work it was restored to its former glory and with the Town Hall looks they both look great now they are fully restored.
K.A Chch landmark which fell into disrepair after the earthquakes but is now back to its former glory. It's in Victoria Square which has also been renovated past-earthquakes. It's really nice to have some familiar places remain after so much of our city has changed.
c.I remember in the 80s, dad parking the cortina here back when the road went straight through. It makes me happy to know some of the things from the Before Time have survived through to now.... so many didn't.
