Loved our visit! Drinking a cocktail out of a glass made of ice was pretty cool, and then getting to smash it at the end! Definitely worth the visit!

Was a great novelty for the kids on a warm day. Spent about 40 mins there, we were the last ones! Had a few drinks which very tasty, and I thought reasonably priced given they made a an ice glass each time. Kids liked the ice hockey table and photo booth. Definatley recommend to kill a little time!

Pretty fun, seems like a must-do in Queenstown. Ice statues are really beautifully done. Drinks were overpriced for what they were. Could not stand the cold too long even with the jackets and gloves provided. Would still recommend!

Great fun activity in Queenstown. Make sure to check Bookme or Grab one for coupons. They normally have $1 entry during day time. Best time to go there. 😉

The Mocksville in the ice formed glasses are delicious...such fun playing the table hockey..the many sculptures and and ice carved seating allow for a great number of photo opportunities.. If you like having a fun hour or so.. come here!! Well worth it!!

This is the coolest bar in the South Island that doesn't have a live band (for obvious reasons). The staff were kind and the experience overall was awesome. To start there were a lot of people packed into the room but I learnt rather quickly that they do it because most leave in a couple minutes, then the fun begins!! Air hockey table made completely of ice, the glasses are made of ice, the seat (you guessed it) made of ice. This was epic!!

A must do experience and extremely good value.

Not a bad spot for a drink. Not quite enough to do once you have had your drink. There is a photo booth, ice sculpture, Ice air hockey and an ice sleigh.

Interesting, but bit smaller than expected

This ice bar is bigger and has a few more sculptures then the other one. Booked online. However they accepted walk in's too. Enjoyed the experience. Thanks team. Definitely recommend family friendly aswell.

Back in 2017 when I first visited Queenstown going to an Ice bar was my first experience and it was amazing. I loved it and it’s a must visit when in Queenstown. Highly recommended.

Great experience for those who have never seen ice sculptures. Kids are allowed accompanied by adult. Mocktails and cocktails are served in an ice glass. Minus 12 degrees inside. Can get your photo taken at the booth. Visit is only for short time in a group. Jackets and gloves provided.

A fun place to visit with friends.

Brrrrrilliant. Really chilling experience. So cool to hang out here with the friendly staff. The ice sculptures were so impressive I was shivering with glee. We heard itd be darn cold, but that was just the tip of the ice berg. It was a nice small space so you dont ever feel ice-olated. Excellent experience all around, definetly recommended for a n-ice time.

A must go if you have 30 mins to spare, they let you in in batches to prevent overcrowding. The provide jackets and gloves. Do ask around for free entry coupons when you sign up for outdoor activities in Queenstown with travelbug, happy travels agencies etc. 10 dollars for a mocktail & 13 dollars for a cocktail. There were many ice sculptures, the cup you drink in is also made of ice. Overall, it is a unique experience.

We managed to get free tickets when booking an excursion and I’m so glad we went! It was such a fun evening despite a fire alarm mid-experience but the staff were fun, engaging and playful and totally made the experience.

This place is fun for a couple of drinks, it really is super cold, like -17c haha. It's interesting to drink from a glass made of ice. They allow you to take photo and sit on all of the ice sculptures. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Drinks are quite expensive and take quite a while to make in the ice room. They give you gloves, boots and a coat which you will almost certainly need. Have fun 😁 A+

It was a very unique experience for me. It was the first time I saw such beautiful ice sculptors. You can actually experience sub zero temperatures. They provide proper clothing for such temperatures as well as complimentary drinks.

Really cool experience here! The staff are super friendly and accomodating with warm jackets and gloves! The sculptures are wicked a little packed at the beginning for my liking haha but can see why they do it because people tend to get chilly head on out after their drinks. Love the feature of throwing your ice cup at the end!

Great experience. Upon entering our booking we were advised that the room temperature inside was -12°c and in deed it was. We entered with a group of about 12 people and the other 10 left after finishing their drinks. I managed to last 37 minutes before bailing as they only supply a thermo coat and I went in with jeans, tshirt and nike air maxes which had open vented sole so my feet were frozen. Drinks were amazing and prices were reasonable for extras.

Awesome place. Its quite small, but its an interesting experience drinking from a cup that is made out of ice you can just throw out. There are many photo opportunities in here, such as a small photo booth, a throne, various statues, ice hockey. They play decent music as well. jackets and gloves are provided, so do not worry if you wore less layers although it is pretty cold in there. The ice bar itself in terms of price is quite expensive BUT, if you book with any of the travel booking/iSite places around Queentown, you can usually get some sort of discount. We got one a discount that gave us free entry if we pay for a drink. So look out for discounts at these places or online. Staff is awesome. They enjoy being there and are exceptionally friendly.

A cool place to take photos, has cheap cocktails during happy hour & was alot of fun! They provide warm outer clothing to which was perfect!

Fun indoor place for rainy day or young children. Not huge inside but enough to kill 30min just touching the ice sculpture, taking photos and having a drink. They have onsie and gloves for babies and there's enough place to park your pram in the shop. You can buy printed photos (also available online) after taken some from their photo booth. We booked on bookme and only paid $7 each so well worth it.

Its a cool way to see ice sculpture and enjoy the bar! You can go there anytime and not worry about what to wear because they will provide it. It was a short sweet experience.

Interesting enough to try, but it's not the kind of place you stay a while and socialise. It's mainly a tourist attraction, very limited drink options that are all fruit liquor based.

Fun place to visit. Added entertainment when they had a power cut and couldn't open the door for 10min but nothing dangerous. Felt sorry for young lady looking after us cause she was a little stressed.

Fun novelty experience and the hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make sure the kids were warm and had fun. The drinks are majorly disappointing, even accounting for the cold numbing the taste sensation, I'm pretty sure they're just pouring colored cordial for everything.

The place was good. It was really Cold and jackets, gloves were provided. However, staff was not very helping. We booked through deal and got 5 mins late they didnt allowed us during that time and asked us to buy for diiferent time. Their behaviour was bit rude to be honest. Even after requesting them to allow just for 15 mins entry they didnt allowed us. Very disappointing!!

A fun novelty experience, I had a lot of fun and enjoyed it and the bartender was lovely.

It's fun. Gets pretty chilly. Won't fit a very large crowd though. When I was there there were about 15 people and it was already a little bit crowded.

This was a great experience they have some great cocktails here. I had the polar, which was great. The ice room itself is very entertaining and the service from the girls was excellent😃

im from Canterbury so this wasnt cold but why would you pay $16 for 1 cocktail when you could pay $20 for 2?

It was freezing cold and the drinks were so good it was freezing inside then when we went outside it was warm because it was summer when went here . The space was not that big and it was a little bit crowded . I would prolly go back here i guess….

Had a good time hear and the host wear friendly and happy to take pictures of us. my only negative point was they let too many people in at once and the rooms not that big took a while to get our cocktails I think 10-15 people at a time for 15min time slots would be more enjoyable in my opinion.

This bar is more a special sight then a bar to have some beers and chill. The temperature goes into your gloves pretty quickly so you can't hang out here for more then one hour. The place is small and you have to book in advance, but it's nice that you can say that you've been in a bar where everything is made out of ice😋.

It's a fun experience, but not quite able to meet its own level of hype! Declared the largest ice-bar in the southern hemisphere, you really get your hopes up for what you are about to experience. Only to be let down by how small the bar actually is. It IS a fun little attraction, but it's just that, an attraction, I wouldn't want to sit in here for too long and use it as an actual bar! I can't even imagine being in here when its crowded!

It's a good experience. Not too expensive either. The bartender was very courteous and friendly. He recommended a drink with Jameson that was decent. Of course the drinks are not too strong. The place is small - it can fit around 15-17 people - anything more and it will feel too crowded. Drinks are served in an ice cup which you can smash at the end. Spend 20 to 30 mins here while you wait for your reservation for dinner.

A good experience for families and couples if you're willing to pay the price. They provide you with big coats and gloves (although the gloves weren't that great). The cocktails are nice and they give you ice glasses to drink from. We booked to go to the ice bar for 6 pm and we were in there for about half an hour. There was a photo booth and an "air" (ice) hockey table to play on.

So much fun!! Laura and the team are awesome. Definitely one of the most unique bars we have ever been to. The drinks tasted amazing and we even had the whole place to ourselves at the end. Highly recommend!

It's a complete unique experience. Where everything is made of ice,even the glasses in which you ll have your drink. You can go there and sit and enjoy a drink for half an hour. The temperature is usually -12 degrees A definite one time experience.

Super cool in so many ways. Definitely an experience unlike anything else. Recommend a visit just so you can say you've been there. Ice hockey table, free photo booth, yummy drinks. Plenty to keep your mind off the cold during the relatively short time you'd want to spend there. Bonus is it feels quite tropical outside afterwards. 😉

This place is all ice, literally. It is a good touristy place decent, not great drinks. They seem to have lots of specials and discounts which is great, it there entry policy is difficult to understand. We were made to wait to enter a certain time, but watch others leave during their time slot and new people allowed in. Dispute the fact we informed them that we only wanted to stay a short time, we were not allowed in. It is a small place and I do understand capacity laws, however it seems they pick and choose who they will make an exception for and clearly my son and I was not exception worthy.

Nice experience ! it was smaller than what we expected but staff very friendly and overall had a good time. My toes were freezing and had to leave early I would recommend wearing thick socks

Clean Gloves and jackets are provided before entering the icy bar. The various ice sculptures was very exquisite and pretty to take pictures with. Cocktails offered was sweet and delicious. Spent a good 40min inside chatting, and drinking while playing the ice table game with daughter. Was a Chillax time all in all after dinner.

I enjoyed Below Zero more than Minus 5 (which I visited on a previous trip) - more interesting sculptures and an ice hockey table. We scored a great deal on BookMe; I don't feel that it's worth the full price, but worth checking out if you're able to get a discount.

Stopped by at the recommendation of our hostel. We were backpacking through the south island and had a few nights in Queenstown. I highly recommend stopping by here, it was a blast. Glasses were all made of ice which was pretty cool (no pun intended). We stayed for two cocktails and a shot.

Really cool ice bar! Drinks are great and its a definitely an experience. You get gloves and a coat so it doesn't feel too cold but you won't wanna be there too long.

This place is amazing . The cocktails poured into a glass made of ice are a nice touch. Worth a visit. You get 30 mins with 2 drinks included if you can stand the cold .It dosen't sound long but every body in our group left after 20 mins as the cold gets you.

Really fun and worthwhile experience for the novelty of it. We had 2 cocktails and a shot each and they were all delicious and reasonably priced in the happy hour. Worth doing for a bit of fun and a drink.

Unique experience. Given a large jacket and gloves before heading downstairs into the bar. Inside everything is made of ice with chairs, tables and air hockey table (not very good). There are impressive sculpture throughout. The bar has themed cocktails and shots there are served in ice glasses. They are deliciously sweet and strong. There is also a fish eye lens photo booth with props.

We went to the icebar during our stay in Queenstown and had a blast. It was a later session and everyone was having a few drinks and a good time. We had a legend irish girl Amy as our host who really made the experience awesome. The sculptures were cool and cocktails delicious.

Was pretty decent. My partners feet got unbearably cold (I know it’s an ice bar) so we left sooner than we’d like and we noticed on the way out there was warm ugg style boots we could have used but they were not offered

Fun touristy place. All the warm clothes they'll give you should be more than enough to keep you warm, except for gloves. They do provide gloves, but they're really bad, and not water proof, which doesn't make sense, since you have your drinks in cups made of ice. So I'd recommend you bring your own water proof gloves.

This bar is pretty cool only a few people allowed in at a time it has a few ice sculpture inside and I've hockey table to play on and it's minus 12 inside. The staff give you warm jackets and gloves to wear which is good

This was my favourite of the two ice bars in Queenstown (also the coldest!). Definitely worth visiting. Good value for money. Seems to book out quick so book ahead!

Not too bad 1st ice bar I've been to so can not compare with the others in queenstown. Were in need of a few new jackets. Getting a bit old and zippers ripped off etc. Great service though!

Yes..was there on 27th Nov 2017 on reaching on dot of closing but were fortunate,the receptionist was kind to allow us upon our appeal to let us feel the experience. Vows! that was good feel inside the Ice bar, everythings were made from ice and worth the money with a compliment drink.

The staff were very friendly. We bought our tickets discounted online. We didn't buy any drinks but took lots of photos and we just came for the experience.

Reception and bartender are nice and very welcome. The place are nice as awell and you can enjoy you time inside with your friend. We so happy and i change the date of my appointment and boom i can do it. And we come and enjoying the time. Was best place in Queenstown you have to visited. Normaly after you went out and tired. Will make you feel noce when you come out. Thanks for 2 pretty ladys there you guys can own that place. Because u guys are awesome. Will recoment your place to all of the ppl i know. There's something crazy fun about freezing while having a nice drink in a cup made of ice. Coat and gloves are supplied. You also get a re-entry ticket so can keep revisiting.

It was a unique one off experience. The area both for waiting and the area inside was smaller than I thought it would be.

The host we had (Natalie) is an absolute asset to this business! She made our night so enjoyable! Will be returning!!

Schönes Ambiente und coole Idee, leider so kalt, dass wir nach knapp einer halben Stunde schon gegangen sind. Dicke Jacken und Handschuhe sowie Boots sind inklusive. Preise für die Getränke ansonsten relativ teuer, eine Nachfrage nach einem Rabatt Voycher bei einem der vielen Anbieter für TouristenTouristenattraktionen lohnt sich also.
